26/09/2026: I agree with a previous comment. The quality hasn't been the same since the change of ownership. The portion sizes have been reduced. The salmon carpaccio, if you can even call it that, consisted of four thick, unprepared slices of salmon, no lemon juice or olive oil on top, accompanied by only two rösti (previously three) and a so-called tartar sauce that was nothing more than crème fraîche. We also ordered a "children's" plate, which contained two chicken tenders instead of the previous three. The fries have also changed. They're now just thin, traditional fries, whereas they used to be quite thick. Overall, we were very disappointed, especially considering the price. The only positive point was the terrace.

23/06/2026: Summary: Adorable little hotel where you MUST eat at the restaurant. ---------- The hotel is a very cute little home, tucked away just off the main street of St. Remy (itself an adorable little town). We had no complaints about the hotel, but what truly sets this place apart from others is the RESTAURANT: The restaurant is 2 Michelin stars, but was better than most (if not all) 3 stars we have eaten at. The location is cozy and adorable, with a homey atmosphere and staff that truly seem to love their job. We arrived with no reservation and none available online, but they managed to squeeze us in on very short notice. The food itself was some of the best food we have had at a Michelin starred restaurant. The meal was wonderfully light, without skimping at all on flavor -- every dish celebrated local produce, with fruits and vegetables sourced locally in Provence. Lastly, the owner is wonderfully kind. Upon leaving I told him how much we loved the strawberry based dessert, and he sent us off with a free box of strawberries for the road. The next time we are in Provence, we would love to stay again.

21/04/2026: Refined and exceptional cuisine. The chef forages for all sorts of aromatic herbs and spices in the local flora. We were captivated by the décor, the menu, and the wines we tasted. The service is very warm and welcoming, not at all stuffy. You feel genuinely appreciated. Every detail is meticulously attended to, from the tableware and décor to, of course, the dishes and desserts.

20/08/2026: A cruise definitely worth taking. We appreciated the explanations given by our hostess Lolita on the boat and the demonstration of bull sorting by the herdsmen of Mas de la Comtesse during the visit to the ranch. An excellent experience.

18/08/2026: Unfortunately, I found the website somewhat misleading. The 2-hour tour shows a picture of a covered boat, leading us to believe we'd be on that one. However, the tour actually uses an open-sided boat. The covered boat is only available for the tour that includes a meal. The trip itself is quite nice, but given the consistent scenery, the shorter 1.5-hour tour is probably perfectly sufficient. On board, drinks can only be purchased with cash. The commentary is only in French, but there are handouts with translations in various languages. The visit to the Manade was quite interesting, but again, there was no translation. At least you can pay by card at the kiosk there.

21/09/2026: Really disappointing after reading great reviews. Service was fine, but the croissants were flat and damp inside instead of crispy with fluffy layers, the orange juice tasted like concentrate and the serving was beefed up with ice, and the coffee was burnt. We waited to get a pain au chocolat which took ages and eventually had to swap for a croissant. The breakfast combo at 14,50€ is more than most sit down places and not worth the price. Was so excited to try this spot, but would not go back or recommend for breakfast.
