19/09/2026: We had a wonderful time at Côté Jardin, right by the sea. The phone reception was very friendly. The cocktails and charcuterie boards were excellent, accompanied by a delicious avocado focaccia! The service was kind and discreet! In short, a new spot for a relaxed drink with friends! 05/03/2026: Very good food with original and successful blends of flavors, unfortunately we happened to be there on an evening when the atmosphere was very/too noisy for us!

02/03/2026: We tasted the foie gras and found it sorely lacking in flavor. We then tried the fish with beets: what a surprise to find only a single small cube of fish and a piece of onion! The rest was just beets and a walnut sauce. Again, the taste was nonexistent; this dish was a real disappointment. We also tried the beef tartare with mayonnaise. It was literally minced meat, mayonnaise, a few chopped green onions, and half an egg. It was slightly better, but it absolutely did not justify the price. Regarding the wine, you have to be very careful: the servers don't warn you that the style of wine offered is much more acidic than traditional wines. (I'm not saying the wine was bad or flawed; it's simply the style the winemaker was aiming for, but you should be informed.) The service is practically nonexistent; you have to search for the servers to order anything. Finally, when it came time to pay the bill, we pointed out to the waiter that we were leaving the wine bottle almost full. We tried to explain the lack of information during the service, but his only reaction was to smile and leave without a word.

10/10/2026: My visit to the restaurant was a wonderful experience from beginning to end; everything was fantastic. I was greeted by a waitress who took excellent care of us. She made sure we had everything we needed and that we didn't lack anything.

10/09/2026: I had already tried many custard tarts, but none like those from Pastelaria de Belém! Now I perfectly understand why they are so famous – their fame is more than deserved. It's normal to find a queue, both to get in and sit down to eat something and even to buy something to take away, but the wait is totally worth it. Besides the famous custard tarts, they have a menu with many other options, so there's plenty to choose from. If I had to point out something less positive, I would say the coffee could be better. Otherwise, everything is excellent: delicious food, good service, and quite reasonable prices for such a famous place. Without a doubt, a must-stop in Belém!

04/10/2026: Total disappointment. All-you-can-eat buffet: cold, hard rice, shrimp that wasn't crispy at all, everything seemed overcooked and reheated. The dessert section was practically empty; I had no desire to touch it. Very noisy environment. Avoid.

30/08/2026: Nice place, efficient service, but it's definitely the end of the season. The starter and main course were swimming in soy sauce, and since we didn't want to complain, we asked for takeout so as not to waste the food. Refused, on flimsy pretexts. Damn this place!! And poor 500g of tuna we couldn't eat. No compensation whatsoever. Disappointed by this tourist trap.

27/09/2026: Having been a regular at this restaurant for many years, I find it's become a bit lax. Several dishes on the menu are consistently unavailable, and this is happening more and more frequently. On the other hand, the staff is incredibly attentive. A special mention for Mamadou. The children's menu is half price on Wednesdays.

20/07/2026: I was very disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The food was truly subpar: bland, tasteless dishes, far from the quality one expects from a Thai restaurant. However, the most regrettable aspect was the service. The waitress, who seemed to be the manager as well, was cold, unfriendly, and sometimes unpleasant. We clearly felt like we were bothering them rather than being valued customers. It's a shame, because good service can sometimes compensate for shortcomings in the kitchen, but here neither the quality of the food nor the welcome was up to par. I unfortunately cannot recommend this establishment.

08/07/2026: We had a wonderful time at this little restaurant. We were in Lille for The Weeknd concert and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the friendliness of the owner. The dishes were made with excellent, fresh ingredients. The Thai shrimp soup was incredibly flavorful!

09/11/2025: The ice cream and crepes are good. But the menu has shrunk: we regret the removal of the ficelle picarde (a type of savory crepe). The decor also needs a refresh: the paint on the tables is peeling, the plastic chairs are worn out, and the bar is aging. The food is nice, though. The service is sometimes very slow, even when it's not busy. It's a shame, because it has so much potential.
