09/05/2026: I bought some Tarte Tropézienne. And then I thought to myself that the pastry chef at D'Jolly must have left, taking the recipe book with him. So much for its lightness and delicious taste. What a shame!

07/06/2026: Very disappointed. The couscous was bland and the sauce tasteless. Furthermore, they led us to believe two merguez sausages were included, but they were ultimately added to the bill. I find that truly dishonest.

11/06/2026: The restaurant displays a QR code at the entrance that redirects directly to their menu. It states that the merguez couscous is €14. So I go in and order it. Once I've finished, they ask me for €18. The waiter explains that it's an old menu. I tell them they need to update it because it's misleading and I never would have gone in if I'd known it was €18. Then I go to their website and see that the merguez couscous is €17. I send a message to the manager who says "sorry for this inconvenience" before replying here that the €14 price isn't displayed at the entrance. Seriously?

29/04/2026: AVOID AT ALL COSTS! NO CONSIDERATION FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS, AND EXTREMELY UNPLEASANT!!!! I placed an order for delivery and was told the delivery time had passed. 15 minutes after the estimated delivery time, I called to check on the status of my delivery. The person who answered asked me to wait a moment. As a result, I waited 10 minutes, listening to the staff talking amongst themselves. I finally hung up and called back. I first spoke to someone, explained the problem, then there was silence, and then another person took the phone. I was therefore forced to repeat the problem and my contact information yet again... In the end, I received my delivery almost two hours after placing the order!!!

19/05/2026: A lovely brasserie/restaurant right in the center. They offer a small but excellent selection of lunch specials. The duck with raspberries was exceptionally well-prepared, preceded by a beautifully presented appetizer. The service was friendly and efficient. Prices are a bit higher than in other restaurants. Definitely worth a visit for lunch.

01/05/2026: The decor is nice, and the service is fine, but it's still expensive. The bill came to 150 euros for 3 adults and 2 children, including a main course, dessert, and coffee. I know plenty of restaurants where we could have eaten better for that price.

09/07/2026: The covered terrace is difficult to access. It's a shame because the establishment is nice with attentive staff.

02/07/2026: We hadn't even sat down when the owner rudely asked us to leave, staring at our small dog—a 2.5kg Chihuahua—well-groomed and very calm. We asked him how our dog could possibly be bothering him. He replied that it was the law not to allow dogs in a bar or restaurant. Wrong! That was his law. We quickly left his café, telling him we preferred to go to an establishment that accepted dogs and knew how to treat its customers well. We will not be returning to Café Le Commerce on the corner of Rue de Vouillé and Rue Labrouste and will not recommend it. A very bad experience!

27/06/2026: Excellent experience! The servers are dynamic and efficient (you should see how they handled the sudden storm), the food is excellent, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming (you have to eat there to experience it!).

27/02/2026: Average service, the beer at €4.60 is very expensive, we're not in Tours Place Plumereau, I won't be back. Indeed, the beer is €4.50 because I paid €5 and they only gave me 50 cents, expensive for a beer.

11/02/2026: 19 euros for 12 thin slices of cucumber, 2 heaping tablespoons of shepherd's pie with 3 lettuce leaves and a slice of Charlotte biscuit. Really very expensive, nothing like the previous owners who offered decent portions and cheese for less. The new waitress has a nice, professional smile but is unpleasant if you tell her what you think and makes it clear you should go somewhere else if you're not happy.

05/05/2026: A wonderful discovery! The dishes are truly delicious, beautifully presented and adorned with flowers 🌸 The service is also fantastic; it's very pleasant. We had fresh ravioli (scallops) and truffle pasta. A real treat! We'll definitely be back.
