20/07/2026: We ate there a while ago. However, the setting and service were excellent. There's a small pool right behind the restaurant, making for a perfect day.

20/07/2026: I used to love this place when the previous owner and employees were there. It's completely different now, a real mess. It's such a shame. The waitresses aren't friendly, the wait is ridiculous, and they serve you things you didn't even order. Honestly, you might as well go to the shack next door or down by the harbor.

20/09/2026: We went there for brunch, so perhaps this review doesn't reflect typical restaurant fare. As for the brunch itself, there's a really good selection... maybe less so in terms of pastries and a traditional French breakfast (though there's still a decent range), but the savory options—main courses, starters, and desserts—are quite good. At €20 for adults and €10 for children, it's a great deal. The staff is friendly, and the setting is pleasant, just 20 meters from the beach.

09/10/2026: Try to be a little more pleasant; we're under no obligation to come and visit you. All we want is to be served with at least a friendly attitude, otherwise you should find another line of work. I used to be a good customer; I really like your products, but I'm annoyed by your attitude. Not a single smile, and your phrase: "That's all?" Seriously, learn to speak properly! Future customers, don't expect any kind of discount; you won't get anything, no matter how much you spend... Clearly, business isn't for everyone. Parking your van in front of the parking lot, which is supposed to be reserved for customers, is really unacceptable, especially when there's a parking lot across the street, and even worse when you remove it and put up your advertising sign instead! I won't be back. The products were good, but that's not everything.

19/09/2026: The staff were incredibly friendly: smiling, funny, and responsive. Thank you for our two pizzas. They made them in record time!! I'm not from around here, but I'll definitely be back 👌🏼

04/09/2026: As a disabled person, I struggled to walk to the restaurant only to be turned away at 8 pm. There were only two of us, and they claimed there were too many pizzas waiting, but they didn't ask if we wanted anything else, no smile, just a dismissive "it's not possible." I find this unacceptable; we didn't even make it to closing time. I won't be going back, and I'll tell my family and friends so they boycott this restaurant.

14/09/2026: Close to being the best restaurant in western Cotentin! No reservation required, and we got a table for two with a sea view. The service was friendly, welcoming, attentive, and efficient. The cuisine was inventive and excellent, with beautifully balanced flavors. The tuiles were superb. The monkfish was perfect, and the cebecero de port was magnificent. The bill was reasonable. A minor point: the wine pairing for the starter was a little off, and perhaps the vinegar could have been caramelized with the pork. Otherwise, everything was perfect. BRAVO! It's been a long time since I've had such a delightful experience in this part of Normandy.

30/08/2026: During a week of thalassotherapy, we stayed at Le Sound restaurant on a half-board basis. The cuisine, all of it, is of an excellent standard, with a fine wine list. Nothing to complain about. The presentation of the dishes is appealing. The staff is efficient, friendly, and even, in some cases, quite charming.

30/09/2026: The pizzas were very good and very tasty, but they lacked decoration.

27/09/2026: A truly wonderful place… I've had lunch and dinner there and I thoroughly enjoyed myself each time.

30/04/2026: It looked outdated, the workers only spoke French, the food was pretty bland. The main room was not at all welcoming, it's like an industrial warehouse. There is no elevator to get to the rooms, we were on the second floor and had to go up with dogs and suitcases and besides, I have a bad knee.

28/04/2026: We spent an overnight stay at this establishment with the Toulouse Harley Davidson chapter. There were 55 of us. We were very satisfied. The meal was excellent; the rooms, as well as the entire hotel, were very clean, comfortable, and well-equipped (good bedding). Furthermore, the location was easily accessible, very quiet, with secure parking; and the staff was very attentive. We had a very pleasant time. We recommend this establishment without hesitation.

14/09/2026: Disgusting, inedible. Order not respected... cold welcome, strongly discouraged. I've never been one to speak ill of a place, but people really need to know that this kebab shop is shameful.

20/08/2026: I'm pregnant, I went to McDonald's to satisfy my craving, and I was disappointed to pay for 6 nuggets and only get 4. It's not the first time this has happened.

13/10/2026: Rosso was fantastic, the service was super friendly. The Margherita pizza I ordered was simple but delicious! It was exactly what you expect from a good Italian restaurant. Quality ingredients guaranteed. Cozy atmosphere. I highly recommend it! ☺️

15/09/2026: Today, September 15th, 2 people, warm welcome, very friendly service. The food had wonderful Mediterranean aromas, the scent of local spices and fresh fish. The portions were generous with well-prepared side dishes. Delicious food and beautifully presented. In short, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The setting is very picturesque and shaded, right by the canals of Port Grimaud. And the prices? Dishes between €18 and €30, very reasonable.

11/09/2026: We were rather disappointed, especially since this restaurant had been recommended to us. We had a reservation and arrived at 9 pm. After our aperitif and about 15 minutes after ordering, we were told that the starter we had chosen was no longer available. The main course was very average and the dessert frankly mediocre. But the most surprising thing happened when it came time to pay the bill. Without the staff realizing we were watching, we witnessed a rather edifying scene: a waiter took a slice of apple pie from its display case and accidentally dropped it on the counter. He then picked it up with both hands, without gloves, literally threw it onto a plate, added whipped cream, and sent it to the dining room. His colleague, who was present throughout the entire scene, laughed along with him. Beyond the clumsiness, it was primarily the way the situation was handled and the lack of consideration for the customer that particularly bothered us. The only positive point: the two waitresses who served our table were pleasant, smiling, and helpful. Unfortunately, the overall experience doesn't make us want to return.
