07/06/2026: I came to have ice cream and a drink with friends on the terrace. We thoroughly enjoyed it; the ice cream was delicious! The young waiter with long hair who looked after us was incredibly attentive from beginning to end.

05/06/2026: We ordered two pizzas. The vegetarian cream-based pizza was good, with a crispy crust and a nice topping. However, the Reine tomato-based pizza was a complete disappointment; we didn't finish it. The tomato sauce was practically nonexistent and tasteless, and the pizza was very greasy with a heavy, uninspired ham and mushroom topping in the center. It's up to you whether you want to try it. The waitress was pleasant when we ordered, but another waiter was unpleasant when we picked up our order.

26/10/2025: Since we weren't there, we reserved a table by phone. After seating us, the waiter told us that the bouillabaisse had to be ordered 48 hours in advance. Why didn't they mention that when booking?!?! We settled on grilled fish served with a spoonful of zucchini compote and a slice of Provençal tomato. Only the bill lives up to this restaurant's reputation.

25/10/2025: After ordering two bouillabaisses and one bourride, I was unpleasantly surprised to be billed for two bouillabaisses and two bourrides, claiming that bourrides are sold in pairs. Why not mention this when ordering?! While the bouillabaisse is good, the bourride is bland and leaves a bitter aftertaste. The server was very informal, even bordering on being annoying.

21/05/2026: The hotel is located right in the city center and has beautiful, clean rooms. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is highly recommended.

19/05/2026: I came with my parents, and what a disappointment! We're used to restaurants. Far too expensive for what we got: a light kir with blackcurrant liqueur (just a small amount), and a glass of Chablis—I wish I'd seen the bottle. Overall, I was disappointed. The value for money needs improvement.

19/04/2026: Daily set menu on weekdays, with two choices of dishes. Friendly welcome and service.

09/04/2026: We stopped by chance but received a very warm welcome. The meal was delicious and plentiful, and the price was more than reasonable. I highly recommend it.

01/07/2026: I ordered a custom sandwich, and they added extra toppings. It was so good, they really know what they're doing. 10/10

31/05/2026: Mother's Day. Crowded. Very poorly organized. We arrived at 12:30 PM and had been there for two hours with no food. We did get the appetizer, but not the main course. The waiters were searching for the tables they were supposed to serve, trying to figure out which dish was for whom... a waiter came by every 20 minutes to check on us... we kept repeating that we were waiting for our food... in short, it was a bit of a mess. We waited desperately for our meal. At 2:44 PM, there it was! Lamb shank, which was good, and the fries were very good. My family ordered the chicken supreme, which was undercooked. Now for dessert, which arrived very quickly. Strawberry tiramisu, the cream was grainy. It had been prepared too long in advance. The sauce was clear, like water at the bottom, which wasn't pleasant. In short, we won't be going back. What a shame. They probably wanted to welcome as many people as possible for Mother's Day, but they weren't able to accommodate everyone. It's not easy, but it's something that can be learned and prepared for.

21/06/2026: Friendly welcome, beautiful decor, very good and generous portions of mussels and fries with Roquefort cheese.

16/06/2026: Very good, nothing to report except for chipped glass stems (2 out of 6).

15/05/2026: We arrived at the restaurant as a group of 16. The staff were fantastic and very pleasant, and we had a wonderful meal. The young woman at the till was very attentive and friendly. I highly recommend it.

15/05/2026: It's a shame that an XL platter only contains a dry sausage, two small pieces of cheese, two small slices of cured ham, and a lot of bread, all for 22 euros. It's really too little or too expensive; it's a real pity. The service was quick and without any problems.

15/05/2026: My family invited me to L'Oustaou for my birthday this Friday, May 15, 2026. Everything was excellent. From the Oustaou non-alcoholic cocktails and mojitos, to the burgers and mussels, and finally the salted caramel and dessert platter. We really enjoyed the homemade fries 😊. The staff wished me a happy birthday when we had dessert. That was really nice. We highly recommend this restaurant.

25/05/2026: A small, quiet place with good, simple, and satisfying food. I highly recommend this nice little restaurant; it's definitely worth the detour. The staff are welcoming and always smiling. The prawns are truly excellent ;)

05/05/2026: A wonderful discovery! The dishes are truly delicious, beautifully presented and adorned with flowers 🌸 The service is also fantastic; it's very pleasant. We had fresh ravioli (scallops) and truffle pasta. A real treat! We'll definitely be back.

17/06/2026: This hotel far surpassed my hopes and expectations. Websites can oversell a place with camera angles and photo edits and I was prepared to be slightly underwhelmed by L'Arlatan. Instead, I found that the hotel, restaurant, bar, and grounds were so phenomenal that the website actually undersold the space. It’s even more incredible in person. Everything was perfect - the comfort, coolness, and beauty of the rooms, the kindness of the staff, the stunning gardens and the phenomenal restaurant. Every detail is thoughtful and perfectly executed. I thought Arles would be a quick trip while passing through Provence but instead I’m already planning my next visit just so I can stay at L’Arlatan again. Thank you for an incredible experience!

The new chef is amazingly good. The wine selection (Domaine de Deves) is top notch.
