24/09/2026: Unique atmosphere at the heart of the Louvre.

07/09/2026: September 5, 2026. The parsley liver tempted me for lunch. Especially since it had been highly praised on the Gambrinus page. But the community fair drew a huge crowd, and the servers were overwhelmed. They were also stressed, which always negatively impacts the already subpar service. Today, however, the liver was far too overcooked. I looked for the Provençal tomato on my plate but couldn't find it. The potatoes were good, but they lacked salt. I waited 20 minutes for my half-pint of beer. But the liver was simply disgusting! The crowds are no excuse. I often go to this establishment. The welcome is always warm, and the service is (generally) quick (one day I waited inside for 15 minutes and they didn't ask me anything, but I consider that exceptional). The servers are friendly and efficient. The terrace is very well shaded and you feel removed from the traffic, which is very pleasant. Bonus: it's open on Sundays. In fact, I'm going there right now, on my electric scooter, to have a coffee or two. Have a good day and see you soon at Gambrinus.

20/08/2026: The duck breast arrived completely grey when I ordered it pink, the Aubrac beef skewer was blue on one side and as hard as concrete on the other, the tuna was still frozen inside, and of course, the fries were frozen. Luckily, the waiter was nice. They didn't even offer a carafe of red wine.

21/09/2026: A typical restaurant in the Northern region, warm welcome, very good meal and very good value for money.

20/06/2026: Excellent value for money and old-fashioned service: discreet, friendly, and efficient. What more could you ask for? Special mention goes to the meat, which was cooked exactly as requested (and that's rare enough to be worth highlighting).

31/05/2026: A very pleasant hotel and restaurant. A lovely surprise in the heart of Lapalisse. Excellent value for money and a warm welcome.

29/07/2026: The owners are incredibly kind and the food is delicious. My family are regulars, but I'd never been before and I'll definitely be back! Dogs are not allowed.

15/10/2026: A very mediocre place. The water temperature in most pools is 35 degrees and there is not a single pool with a temperature of 40 like you would find in any decent place in the world. In an alpine place, this would be expected. The hammam is not particularly hot either. As for the water, it did not smell or taste of sulfur, so one can only believe that these are indeed natural spring waters. Overall, a nice place but nothing more.

24/09/2026: The setting is truly charming, warm, and full of character, with elegant and cozy decor. We had a wonderful meal 🍽; the dishes 🥙 were delicious, beautifully presented, and made with high-quality ingredients. The service was also very pleasant and attentive. All this in a chic and authentic neighborhood of Rouen. A perfect place to take your time over lunch in a unique setting and then enjoy a sweet treat. A few days after this lunch, we returned to this charming spot, this time for an afternoon snack ☕️. We loved the cozy and refined atmosphere of Dame Cakes. The selection of teas 🫖 is lovely, and the pastries 🧁 are as beautiful as they are delicious 🍰.

28/09/2026: Honestly, nothing to complain about. The food and taste were impressive, the staff very welcoming, and the portions were generous—all for 10 euros, it's unbelievable! The meat was juicy and enough for two people.

26/06/2026: An absolutely wonderful place. We had a delightful time; everything was perfect from start to finish. The quality of the ingredients is remarkable, and each dish was a true delight. We particularly enjoyed the pizza, with its perfectly cooked crust and generous toppings, served with care. The setting is very pleasant, and the service is impeccable. It's undoubtedly one of our best recent culinary experiences. We will gladly return.
