02/05/2026: The terrace was pleasant, but the salad we ordered consisted mainly of lettuce, five tiny slices of chicken, two slices of smoked bacon, a sprinkle of parmesan, and lots of croutons. My glass of wine was far from the required 120ml. For €29, there are better options in Orléans.

25/04/2026: Saturday, 1:35 PM, there were two of us and we asked if it was possible to have lunch. Not a hello, not a smile, just "we closed at 1:30 PM." Not a goodbye, and we definitely got the feeling that smoking his cigarillo was much more important. A disappointment; you can be unfriendly and still be pleasant.

13/05/2026: A very pleasant restaurant located in the city center. Free parking is available next to the restaurant. A beautiful, clean place with excellent food. I recommend it.

23/04/2026: Always a nice atmosphere for having a drink. We particularly like the coconut daiquiri.

09/07/2026: The tagliatelle carbonara was a disaster; the pasta was cut so it was impossible to eat. There were a few pieces of bacon in a large amount of tasteless sauce, and on top of that, charging €5 for a soft drink is quite expensive for a city restaurant.

09/07/2026: The pizzas are quite good and generous, priced like a good pizza in the Paris region. The only problem was that we ordered two ice cream sundaes which arrived melted and not cold. We pointed this out before paying the bill, but no apology or compensation was offered.

13/05/2026: Huge disappointment. Having eaten at this place 6 years ago, I wanted to go back today for their traditional pig's trotter. It's nothing like it used to be. Not the same recipe, and incredibly greasy. The fries tasted like they were from the bottom of a vat. The owner was yelling in the dining room, "Babies, be quiet!" I found that very poor, his humor bordering on the offensive. He claims families and their children are welcome, his so-called jokes are very questionable, and he thinks he's funny too. I don't usually leave negative reviews, but I have to share this one.

11/05/2026: It was a pretty good experience. It had a very Chinese atmosphere. The food was very fresh. The service was good, and everyone was very welcoming. I recommend everyone check it out.

06/05/2026: Honestly, a very bad experience. The quality of the food was clearly lacking: unappetizing, stale, and some dishes at the buffet were practically empty. The service was also subpar, unpleasant, and completely unprofessional. But the worst part was charging a 2-year-old child… it's totally outrageous and unacceptable. In short, the value for money was terrible. I absolutely do not recommend this restaurant.

21/06/2026: We had a wonderful meal! The salmon gravlax with carrot sorbet was excellent! The giant skewers were delicious too! 😏

11/06/2026: A good hotel for visiting the region with good value for money. This 2-star hotel is very clean, the rooms are perfectly adequate, and the bedding is comfortable and in good condition. Everything is functional. The managers are particularly helpful and friendly. Thank you to them. I recommend a stay at this hotel.

30/06/2026: Don't fall for the tourist trap! Yes, it has a beautiful view, and it is the very first restaurant you see when you arrive in Villefranche-sur-Mer, but don't let the prime location fool you. The food was absolutely awful! It was so bad that we couldn't even finish our meal. To make matters worse, the staff was incredibly rude, and we had to sit at a wobbly, moving table the entire time we were there. Skip this one and walk a little further into town!

29/05/2026: Small appetizer buffet, indigestible undercooked fries, tasteless stuffed meat rolls. Only the homemade ice cream was good. Our neighbors at the next table were also unhappy. Too expensive. A place to avoid for truckers.

30/06/2026: Firstly, their prices are not reasonable. Secondly, and more importantly, the staff are generally unpleasant, unwelcoming, and aggressive, except for the Indian or Sri Lankan gentleman who is very kind.

04/01/2026: A lovely spot nestled in an artsy courtyard, a bohemian yet decidedly bourgeois wine cellar, and delicious food. A delightful evening at reasonable prices in a unique setting.

02/11/2025: It's definitely number 9; you can't miss the porch with its large wooden door, but you have to look up to see the rather discreet sign. Inside, you'll find a patio with a monumental stone table, numerous potted trees—lemon, orange, jasmine—and a room where jazz concerts are held if you happen to be there on the right day. An oasis of greenery in the heart of Nîmes, it's a restaurant, bar, and live music venue all rolled into one... it all depends on your luck and your mood.

27/06/2026: The service was very good. The setting is nice for those like us who appreciate the old-fashioned. The only downside is the price (€170 for 3). I found the portion size a bit small, and a little more decoration on the foie gras plate would have been a real plus, as we had the impression that the three (thin) slices of foie gras were simply thrown onto the plate. Two salad leaves and a piece of tomato would have garnished the plate more cheaply and would have been better. Otherwise, everything was very good.
