26/11/2025: We had a great lunch today: starter, main course, cheese and dessert plus wine (which was very good) and coffee for €16 and they were very pleasant too, give them some support, my fellow drivers and workers too.

And as soon as closing time arrived, the man taking orders (the bald old man) forced us to leave even though we hadn't finished eating. A complete lack of respect for customers. Avoid at all costs.

10/05/2026: I recently spent a night at this hotel and was delighted. Samar, the receptionist, is charming and competent; she answered all my questions. The hotel is ideally located on the port and very comfortable.

07/09/2025: We had lunch at L'Orée du Bois a week ago. We really enjoyed the setting. We had a table inside, which is clearly a few years old but well-maintained and in very good condition. The dining room is elegant and quiet. We had a lovely view of the terrace, which was very green and beautiful. However, the food was disappointing, especially considering the price. The amuse-bouches were pleasant, but the rest of the meal didn't live up to expectations. The main course was sea bass with beurre blanc sauce, presented in a style reminiscent of 20 or 30 years ago. The dessert consisted of figs that had absolutely no flavor. Truly none, which is surprising given that these fruits are at their peak ripeness at this time of year. The service was unfriendly, unavailable, and gave the impression of being forced to work without any enjoyment. We agreed that this beautiful setting deserved a refresh of the culinary offerings.

26/03/2026: We stopped in the middle of our motorcycle ride and received a wonderful welcome despite the late hour of 1:20 pm. The restaurant was quite full, but the waitress was always available. The set menu was very good quality; being a big eater, I would have liked a bit more on the plates, but for an average person, the portion size was just right. The service was quick and always accompanied by a big smile and friendly conversation. Thank you for a lovely time spent at your restaurant.

14/02/2026: A truly sublime moment on Valentine's Day: the service was impeccable, the waitress extremely friendly and cheerful, and the food was absolutely delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves; for those looking to have a wonderful time and savor excellent dishes that will tantalize your taste buds, I highly recommend this restaurant.

06/05/2026: We're here. The restaurant is open. The red wine is inexpensive, and the owner, Lionel, is as warm and friendly as ever. However, on May 13, 2026, Lionel will be retiring. The pizzeria next door will be taking over the le-Ficky-Bar.

The presentation, freshness, and flavors were all world-class. Our host, Andrei, made the experience even more special with his kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail. He went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Da Rossana is an absolute must-stop for anyone who appreciates amazing food and impeccable service. Easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve had — I can’t wait to come back!
