20/09/2026: ⭐ A particularly complicated experience... paying for a pizza. Their own website clearly states that they accept cash, credit cards, and Ticket Restaurant cards. So I wanted to pay with my meal vouchers. They told me I should have called them first. Fine... except I'd already paid with them before without needing to call. I then simply offered to pay by credit card, since their website clearly states that cards are accepted. And then: "No, you selected cash." So apparently, at L'Authentique, choosing "cash" when ordering means you're permanently stuck with cash. No changing your mind in the meantime. 😂 I thought a payment method listed as accepted was meant to be... used for payment. Clearly, you have to choose your fate before confirming your order. The worst part is that everything could have been resolved in 10 seconds with a little flexibility. In the future, I will know that before ordering a pizza, one must apparently be absolutely certain of their payment method, otherwise an administrative procedure may be triggered.

07/10/2026: Fantastic! We booked this restaurant for our wedding reception and we weren't disappointed! The decorations were beautifully set up, the welcome was wonderful, the waiter was incredibly kind and kept us laughing throughout the meal. Not to mention the delicious food, which all the guests loved! I highly recommend it :)

04/10/2026: The young staff are very friendly. The terrace is spacious and pleasant. The food is good and plentiful. The prices are reasonable; the €37 set menu is excellent. We will gladly return.

11/10/2026: We were a group of eight who had made a reservation over a week in advance, and when we arrived to order from the menu, many dishes were missing. We settled for what they had, but to our surprise, the second course arrived and was a disaster. The duck was burnt, we all sent it back, the meat was inedible, and they gave us two omelets. A complete disaster; the service was good, but the food was subpar. They gave us free drinks, but that wasn't enough. We do not recommend it.

05/10/2026: Over the past 20 years, when I have regularly visited the restaurant, this has been one of the city's popular and good lunch restaurants, which is primarily visited by locals. The house changed hands on April 1, 2025. Today, there were 6 of us who had booked a table. We chose to sit outside. For lunch, we ordered a three-course menu. Before this, a plate of local specialties. We had carpaccio as a starter. Main course. Kidneys with fritters and rock cheese. . Dessert: Apple with whipped cream and caramel sauce. All three dishes were nicely presented and tasty. Definitely worth a visit if you are in these parts and want a good experience - where the locals eat.

02/10/2026: What a warm welcome! I asked the chef for an extra item that wasn't on the menu, and his response was, "No problem!" I was then given a generous portion, served piping hot. Lucie was just as helpful and friendly. Thank you for your excellent service!

10/09/2026: Huge disappointment! After eating lasagna tonight (I left the restaurant around 9:10 pm), I have heartburn and nausea with vomiting! My son, who ate linguine with pieces of beef (very few pieces, by the way, and a very salty dish), is also sick (diarrhea as soon as he got home). I really hope we haven't caught anything serious... But if we're still sick tomorrow, we'll go see a doctor! Plus, it was impossible to wash our hands in the restaurant's restrooms today because there was no water! In short, it's nothing like the videos and photos of delicious food that made us choose this restaurant. Very disappointing and definitely avoid it.

18/10/2026: Warning: the food is fine, but be prepared, the drink prices are outrageous: a bottle of water is 8 euros, Ricard 7 euros, Coke 6 euros, tea 5 euros, a basic bottle of wine 35 euros…

A wide selection of all-you-can-eat food, and recently, a glass of wine or beer is included in the all-you-can-eat deal, along with unlimited canned drinks and a free coffee or tea at the end of your meal! Ideal for families, friends, and more, and the all-you-can-eat deal is unbeatable 👍 I'll be back often!

16/09/2026: Nice dining there. It doesn't look like much from the outside, indeed. But the food is great. An exception was made for us; technically, dogs aren't allowed. We did have to go into a corner though...🤷‍♂️

31/08/2026: Great! The food is always good and varied, and the desserts are truly amazing! The staff is always very friendly, I highly recommend it!

29/08/2026: With the change of ownership and chef, the quality has dropped considerably. The food was "heavy," and the fromage blanc didn't seem fresh. This was reported, but the staff didn't even taste it to verify.

17/10/2026: Unacceptable, even for a supermarket brasserie! A waiter was angry with his colleagues even though the place was empty! We ordered a panini for €7.70 and ended up with a bill of €13. He charged us for drinks separately! We felt like we were being treated like complete idiots! Avoid this place at all costs!
