24/06/2026: Very disappointed with our supposedly gourmet meal. The staff were very friendly, but they didn't enunciate clearly and spoke so softly it was inaudible. The amuse-bouche was far too sweet, although the parmesan gougère was very good. The starter of prawns, avocado, and pineapple with aged rum (€28) consisted of three prawns and "small meadow green sauces with coconut and onions," which weren't mentioned in the description. Too many flavor combinations; it was just so-so. The Château beef fillet Rossini with mashed potatoes (€52) was too tough for fillet; I asked for a knife that actually cut... I'm still waiting... and the cheese trolley (€15) was a disaster. The goat cheeses were just old scraps, very stale leftovers; they really looked like leftovers... unpresentable for a gourmet restaurant. I came before the expansion work and I loved it, it was excellent... so I'm really very disappointed now.

05/10/2026: We were a group of eight and only had an hour for lunch before a visit. The service was very efficient and attentive to our request. The dishes were very generous and of high quality. The servers were pleasant and smiling. It's a good stop for hikers.

28/09/2026: On Sunday at lunchtime, we booked a table before heading to the market. Upon arrival, we were given the menu with one crucial detail: on Sundays, they don't serve starters, kidneys, or mussels... in short, there wasn't much choice! They could have told us that beforehand! The meal was very average, the service quick and efficient, too quick even... as they practically rushed us out to reset the table. The fish and chips were very dry, and the sauce was very bland. We weren't impressed, which is a shame because the small terrace facing the market is lovely.

21/09/2026: We live just across the road and recently went for dinner (out of season and the only people entering the restaurant) when we placed our order, despite ordering 6 adult meals we were told our kids couldn’t share a pizza and we would have to pay €8 fee if they wanted to share so instead I asked if we could order a plate of fries which is €8 and the waitress said no that’s not a meal so you’d still have to pay the €8 fee for not having a main for every person. My youngest is 5….this made no sense on a quiet night out of season. When I questioned it the lady was really rude and then suddenly went from speaking good English to telling me she doesn’t speak English and if we didn’t like it we could leave!? So we left…luckily the bistro next door serves amazing food and has the most wonderful staff (we eat there regularly but we just fancied pizzas!) there loss! We won’t go back again…spend your money where it’s valued and appreciated. I can’t understand the mentality of this place or the rudeness!!

12/03/2026: We had such fond memories of this restaurant from our first visit. So we came back for a second time. And it was just as wonderful!! The service was provided by a very pleasant and attentive young apprentice. The chef was accommodating and eager to please. And the hostess was as kind and passionate as ever about her work and...plants... ♡ We look forward to our next visit.

30/10/2025: We had a wonderful time at this restaurant with its unassuming facade. There were five of us, including two children, and we each ordered a different pizza, which everyone loved. The pizzas are generous and well-topped with what appear to be fresh ingredients. The homemade cheesecake, the Dame Blanche (vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce), and the ice cream were all delicious. The owner was very friendly and attentive. Perfect, we'll be back! And we highly recommend this restaurant.

21/02/2026: I spent a week at the hotel; it's fantastic, well-located, and the rooms are really very comfortable. The staff is very friendly. If I had one thing to change, it would be that breakfast is served from 6:30 am instead of 7:00 am.

19/07/2026: Still a treat even after all these years 🙏🏻 The pizzas are excellent! Real pizza dough, real fresh ingredients! A reliable place 🫶🏻 I highly recommend it. (Bonus: the decor really sets the mood 🇮🇹)

10/04/2026: This restaurant offers quality dishes; I recommend it. We encountered a young waitress who made us feel quite uncomfortable. My husband and I had a lovely evening, but at the end of her shift, as she was leaving, she spoke to us in Kabyle, seemingly wanting to assert her ethnicity, at least to my husband. This made us feel uneasy.
