16/06/2026: 6.20 euros for one Americano and one café crème (with cold milk...) is expensive. For comparison, the same drinks cost 3.50 euros in Guidel-plage. Go figure...

12/06/2026: A must-visit. This restaurant, which combines homemade dishes with local produce, is well worth the trip. You can feel the passion for the craft in the food. Everything was perfect. Special mention goes to the seasonal starter: fresh heirloom tomatoes and basil, and the chocolate fondant with homemade whipped cream—they're simply divine. A warm welcome with excellent recommendations. Excellent value for money.

15/05/2026: While visiting the fortified churches of Thiérache, we discovered this charming inn where we enjoyed an excellent meal. The dishes are exquisitely prepared with seasonal produce, and the wine list is impressive... We will gladly return on our next visit to the region!

29/04/2026: Unfortunately, not a friendly welcome! Before we were even properly inside, it was made clear to us that there was no room! Not even for a drink! We were on bikes! There is nothing to be found in the entire area! The way we were spoken to was very inhospitable!

24/03/2026: We really enjoyed the crepes; however, the menu is unsuitable for children (no children's menu). We ordered two plates of plain coquillettes pasta, and the waitress didn't inform us that the prices from the hotel's evening menu would apply, which was €19 per plate. Similarly, the two scoops of ice cream were not included in the creperie's menu and were charged at €10! What a shame!

20/06/2026: We've been going there for years and it's always just as lovely! With its sunny terrace sheltered from the wind and charming waitresses and waiters, Chez Patou is a Deauville institution, right across from the sea, for a top-notch beach restaurant. You have to book in the summer, it's packed!

14/07/2026: A mixed experience at Moulin du Vent. As others have already pointed out, the welcome was rather cold and the atmosphere in the dining room lacked warmth. This is a bit of a shame, especially in a region with a climate that can sometimes be harsh. The menu aims for sophistication, but the food doesn't quite live up to its promise: Savora sauce or apple ketchup—it's far from a true gastronomic experience! That said, the dishes were decent, particularly the desserts. The wine list is quite limited, and the entry-level wines are expensive. Ultimately, the best memory of the evening will remain the return to the Hôtel L’Erguillière along the coastal path at sunset. A truly magical moment!

05/07/2026: The quality of the food was good. A very nice mix of French and Asian cuisine is exciting. A major letdown, and therefore our 1-star rating: a 3-course menu costs 39 euros and a 5-course surprise menu 85 euros. The big surprise was exactly the same 3-course menu plus 2 small additional dishes. Totally out of proportion, borders on a rip-off! While we spent good money, including champagne as an aperitif and a bottle of Burgundy with the courses, the response to our quiet criticism was one of surprise, and nothing was offered as compensation. Never coming back here again!!!

26/05/2026: Lots of choice! A buffet in the truest sense of the word. Overall, the starters, main courses, and desserts are good. Like any buffet, big eaters will be delighted.

29/03/2026: Hello, I strongly advise against going there. I struggle to understand the 4.3 rating on Google. Poor value for money. The atmosphere is okay, but you can tell the restaurant is under-worked. The servers are constantly complaining. It's a shame to have such a beautiful place and such an attitude.

11/06/2026: Excellent kebab! The meat is high quality, the homemade fries really make a difference, and the portions are generous. The staff is welcoming, the service is fast, and the value for money is excellent. I highly recommend it!

08/07/2026: Having witnessed this, I can say that the person serving drinks is extremely racist. It's unacceptable to come to a place and refuse entry to people because they are of a different background.

02/05/2026: After a somewhat mixed first visit in August 2024, we returned for a stay in Béarn. For me, Le Chalet is now the best restaurant in Salies, thanks to the quality of the ingredients, the superb decor, and the ambiance, which this time was a very pleasant and mellow concert – thank you Rosewoodcover! 😉 The owners are incredibly attentive, and it's clear they're invested in their establishment, as are their employees. I highly recommend it! 😊

26/04/2026: Unpleasant people Lack of respect

13/06/2026: We ordered a galette meal with butter and sugar crêpes for dessert. The crêpes arrived before the galettes, and the galettes were as tough as cardboard! Naturally, the crêpes were cold when we ate them, and the butter had a peculiar taste.

09/06/2026: I love the crepe stand at Géant in Angers. The products are of very good quality. The daily specials are delicious. The staff is very friendly.
