29/09/2026: I had the pleasure of being served by Rolande who combines efficiency with personal warmth (so rare for someone to possess both these qualities). The sauce with my duck was the most delicious things I have ever tasted. The Moelleux cake was divine (and "tres jolie", as I remarked to Rolande). I had to rush my meal as I was worried about missing my ferry - I wish I could have stayed longer.

You'll find a warm welcome (never wavering despite a few changes in staff over the past 41 years!). The current team, led by Rafik, who wants to preserve the very soul of this place, is keeping up this tradition. You'll find excellent beers, especially Belgian ones (hello to all the Belgians!). And a very good traditional menu to accompany them 😉. I especially recommend the mussels and fries! Bouchot mussels and homemade fries! 15/09/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A truly wonderful discovery in Le Mans! We had a fantastic time at L’Épicerie du Pré. The team is absolutely amazing—welcoming, friendly, and attentive, which was a real pleasure! We enjoyed the terrace in a very pleasant and cozy setting. The food was a real treat! Fresh ingredients, beautifully presented dishes that were as delicious as they were beautiful, and the flavors were spot on. We ordered the tataki and the rigatoni: absolutely divine! 😋 And to finish, a delicious gourmet coffee… perfect for ending this wonderful meal. ☕🍨 Thank you to the whole team for your warm welcome and this superb experience. You truly deserve 5 stars, and even more! 😂❤️ We will definitely be back!

10/10/2026: Very good restaurant, the food is excellent, the welcome very friendly. The prices are a bit high, but the quality is definitely there. I highly recommend it. I would just suggest a slightly less expensive menu for people passing through who are on a budget and who work in the Gaillon area. Otherwise, everything is perfect, I will be back.
