06/05/2026: I've known this Lebanese restaurant for years; it's a cuisine I really enjoy. I especially love the shish tavouk (chicken skewers), the makanek (small spicy sausages), the lentil pilaf, and many other specialties, including moutabal (eggplant caviar) and garlic sauce. I highly recommend going there and trying these delicious dishes. The welcome is warm, and the waiter and owner are very kind.

10/05/2026: A small restaurant with about twenty seats, the dishes served are hot, high-quality, and beautifully presented. The service is quick and provided by a pleasant person. The value for money is excellent. When the bill arrived, what a surprise to learn that the waiter was both the owner and the cook! Astounding! This owner deserves our support; believe me, he works hard to serve us. A must-try restaurant in Troyes!!!

11/06/2026: This was my 6th or 7th visit to this place, and unfortunately it was by far the worst experience I’ve had here. I visited with my parents and went to order three teas at the counter. We were told that everything was out of stock, which can happen, and normally I would have understood. What was unacceptable, however, was the attitude of one staff member. When I asked in French, “Vous avez du thé ?” (Do you have tea?), the staff member deliberately or carelessly interpreted it as “Can you have tea?” and responded in a dismissive manner rather than simply answering the question. The interaction felt unnecessarily rude and condescending. Throughout the exchange, I got the impression that we were being treated as if we were inconveniencing the staff just by being there. As customers, we expect basic courtesy and respect, regardless of whether an item is available or not. I have visited this restaurant several times before and never experienced anything like this. It was particularly disappointing because I was with my parents, and the staff’s behavior left a very negative impression on all of us. Running out of products is one thing; treating customers with disrespect is another. Sadly, this visit completely changed my perception of this place.

05/05/2026: Great food and a very cool spot near the Paris Catacombs. My wife stay at the restaurant to relax while the rest of our group went on a tour. We enjoyed the food and atmosphere, along with friendly, fast and efficient service.

18/05/2026: We came this evening to celebrate our 5th anniversary together, and we had a wonderful time at Le Canard Royal ✨ The food was truly excellent from start to finish, with generous and beautifully prepared dishes. But beyond the meal, we especially loved the welcome: a warm, smiling, and genuinely pleasant team of servers. We were able to chat with them a bit at the end of our meal in a very friendly atmosphere, which made the evening even more special. A special mention also goes to the small glass of Armagnac offered at the end of the meal, a very much appreciated touch 😊 And a little inside joke: we found the restaurant thanks to ChatGPT… which gave them a good laugh 😄 In any case, thank you again for this lovely evening, we will gladly return!

Wedding on May 2nd, 2026, then birthday on May 3rd, 2026—yes, we had a few back-to-back events, but honestly, we have no regrets...everything was perfect. Top-notch organization and advice, a lovely team, and a fantastic DJ (JP). The caterer (HAUVILLE) and his team were also excellent. We recommend them 100%! It will remain an exceptional weekend.
