18/09/2026: A traditional, family-run restaurant with outstanding cuisine. Their specialty is matelotte, an Alsatian fish dish featuring various freshwater fish. Our matelotte consisted of eel, pike-perch, salmon, and rainbow trout, each expertly filleted. It was served with a very fine, delicate sauce and homemade, delicate pasta. The dish is served in two courses, ensuring the fish is always at the perfect temperature. The fish was cooked to perfection, incredibly flavorful, and succulent. We also had pike-perch fillet with the matelotte sauce, which was equally divine. This dish was accompanied by confit red cabbage – a true culinary delight. In short: fish simply cannot be prepared better; a truly exceptional restaurant. And all this at a more than fair price.

09/08/2026: We arrived without a reservation for lunch and received a very warm welcome. Seated on the shaded terrace, we enjoyed our meal. The food was delicious, served in a lovely atmosphere, and the prices were reasonable. The staff were pleasant and helpful. A big thank you to everyone!

14/10/2026: The Monts d'Arrée hotel is a place where I immediately felt comfortable and welcome. The owners are incredibly charming and attentive. The decor isn't quite up-to-date, but everything is very well maintained and clean. The bed is extremely comfortable; I've rarely slept so well in a hotel. My stay was so pleasant that I found it a little hard to leave, but I will definitely be back.

12/05/2026: Discovered by chance, and what a happy accident it was! Everything is great at L'Azac. The location, the welcome, the service, the food (both quality and quantity), and the prices. A proper restaurant, not a tourist trap.

30/09/2026: I just left, the service was very calm and friendly despite the stress. And my salad and pizza… no comment! If I lived in the area, this would be my favorite restaurant!!! However, I recommend making a reservation. I was lucky, but tables fill up as soon as they become available. If I'm ever in the area, I'll definitely make a reservation.

17/09/2026: Pizzeria Chez Gigi – Saint-Clément 🍕 Absolutely flawless! The pizzas are delicious, with ultra-fresh ingredients and an excellent crust. Without a doubt, one of the best pizzerias in the area; you can go there without hesitation!

12/09/2026: A lovely moment in the heart of the mountains overlooking the alpine pastures in summer (or the slopes in winter). A very generous and delicious break where regional products are showcased with great skill in a traditional restaurant. To reach the restaurant, you need to take the cable car or be in good physical condition and hike up the slope... so arrive early if you're planning to do that. ;-) A must-try during the winter...

05/10/2026: Hello, we came as a group of seven on Saturday evening, October 3rd. Firstly, the steak was small and there were very few fries. Secondly, the bill was exorbitant; they added €20 to the total. When we recalculated, we called, and they didn't answer and just hung up. It's a disgrace. I was already disappointed once, but I wanted to try again, and I'm completely disappointed with this restaurant. I won't be going back. For future customers, recalculate your bill. As for me, the bill will be exorbitant; I give it 0/20.

03/10/2026: A perfect family outing with friendly staff and excellent food! Important point: the restrooms were very clean, but the baby feeding gate (although sturdy) creaked a lot, which worried me a bit at first.

07/09/2026: I was recommended by a colleague who probably doesn't like me very much, lol. 😂 Honestly, very, very disappointed. We tried a little bit of everything: the bo bun, frankly not great in my opinion, especially compared to other places I've had it. The burger was very bland, with a clear lack of sauce. The only really good things were the sweet potatoes. The spring rolls also had a rather strange aftertaste. And one of us even had trouble digesting after the meal. If I had been the only one out of several people who didn't like it, I probably wouldn't have left a comment. But unfortunately, the experience was really disappointing. On the other hand, the Coca-Cola was very good… 😂🥤

26/09/2026: A table with a breathtaking view! The food was impeccable, a delight from savory to sweet. The welcome and service were also perfect. A flawless experience at this restaurant on the shores of Lake Nantua.

24/09/2026: The waitress was very unpleasant; in fact, we left before we were even seated. It's a shame, because their menu and dining room seemed nice. But I don't want to be served by someone who can barely even say hello. Too bad for us and for them too.
