05/10/2026: I had already tried this establishment shortly after the change of ownership at the beginning of the year, and I was very disappointed. Whether it was the food or the service, I unfortunately didn't find what had previously made this place so charming and reputable. I deliberately waited until the end of the season before forming a final opinion, thinking that a change of ownership takes time and that they deserved a second chance. So I tried again on Saturday, for their Spanish night. Unfortunately, second attempt and the same result. The paella served that evening was, for us, simply inedible: far too overcooked, with the impression that it had simmered and waited for hours. The service was completely disorganized, unprofessional, and, even more disturbingly, particularly haughty when we expressed our dissatisfaction. Rather than trying to understand or find a solution, some of the responses were frankly unpleasant. A bad experience can happen at any restaurant, and that's precisely why I wanted to return several months later. But after two such disappointing experiences at different times, I won't be going back a third time. They say "third time's the charm"... this time, I'll stop at two. It's especially a shame to see a place that was once a true institution lose so much of what made it unique and reputable.

01/05/2026: Great hotel with a very friendly and uncomplicated welcome. The price-performance ratio is excellent. The breakfast buffet is small, but very well selected. The hotel's own restaurant is particularly convenient. I really liked my room with its balcony and beautiful view – a successful blend of rustic and modern style. Everything was clean, and the large shower was a real plus. I'd gladly come back! 👍

The portions were small, sometimes a little disappointing. The service was very warm, and the atmosphere was more than pleasant. Overall, we had a very good evening, but the value for money was only average.

20/09/2026: Very disappointed by the service at Solemilo in Paulilles. I came with two 8-year-old children simply to buy two ice creams to go. Upon arrival, there was no greeting, no welcome whatsoever. A person I assume to be the manager or owner called out to us from a distance, in a particularly unpleasant tone: "We're closed." This is quite surprising given that the terrace was still full of customers and the opening hours indicated they were open until 6 pm. I can perfectly understand that at a certain time, service is over or ice cream is no longer served. That's not the issue at all. A simple "Hello, sorry, we're not serving ice cream at this time" would have sufficed. What I find regrettable is the way they speak to customers, especially in front of two children who simply wanted ice cream. In the restaurant and retail industry, businesses can be closed, overwhelmed, or unable to provide service, but politeness and respect should never be subject to schedules. Unfortunately, a very disappointing experience, solely due to the poor service.

The coffee is expertly prepared, and the attention to quality is evident. The service was exceptionally friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. 17/10/2026: Lovely place, great food and wine and nice service as well. Definitely would come back. I recommend making reservations as this place is usually fully booked. EDIT: I came back to this place and unfortunately I have to lower the rating. The food is still good but the portions have decreased in size but not in price. Also, the music is way too loud and makes it hard to have a normal conversation, given that the restaurant is usually full. A bit too expensive in my opinion.
