31/08/2026: Nice but a bit like a cafeteria. A little too much frozen food for my taste. There's also a small grocery section. In short, a nice little restaurant, the portions are generous, I recommend the tapas for two, but not the crepes 😉

27/09/2026: We ordered three pizzas this evening at 7:45 PM and a bottle of Sprite (so you'd remember us). I don't understand the 5-star rating at all. The pizzas look nice, but that's where the positives end. The goat cheese pizza had no taste, the charcuterie was poor quality, the goat cheese log was tasteless (like the kind you find at Carrefour), the tomato sauce was so watered down it had no flavor, the crust was passable, the fresh mushrooms were okay, but the rest of the ingredients were frankly disgusting. The beef pizza had a horrible taste, the onions were frozen, frankly disappointing… You could buy Mélusine goat cheese logs and slice them yourself, it wouldn't cost you any more. And the bags of frozen onions, the unseasoned ground beef, the tomato sauce too diluted—frankly, it's outrageous. A pizza doesn't cost much to produce, you don't seem to have many employees. Making a profit by cutting the cost of raw materials means losing customers every day, especially since the pizzas aren't cheap. In short

27/09/2026: I saw a post on Instagram that made me want to check it out. We came from Geneva on the evening of September 26th (don't forget to book!). This little restaurant is a real gem, tucked away on a tiny street, just one block from the tourist traps on the seafront. The chef comes to show you the meat, explain his products, and offer advice. A truly fantastic and exceptional culinary experience: a platter with a beautifully marbled and excellent Angus ribeye steak (all the meat is of French origin), weighing 1.1 kg (the weight we chose; there were also 1.2 or 1.4 kg options), roasted potatoes, and amazing porcini mushroom ravioli. We'll be back on our next trip to Bandol. Thank you for your warm welcome and the quality of your food. Corinne and Gilles P.S. Casino parking lot on the port, less than a 5-minute walk.

27/09/2026: A must-try!! As red meat lovers, my partner and I went to this promising restaurant after seeing a mouthwatering video on social media. The promise was kept and then some!!! The welcome was very warm and professional, the staff dedicated to the well-being of the customers, and the chef (owner) presented his meats to us like his children, with tenderness and love. We were won over by his story. We ordered an 1100g Angus rib-eye steak for the little ogres that we are. We ate succulent meat, perfectly cooked to our liking, garnished with fabulous porcini mushroom ravioli and wonderful little roasted potatoes. You have to be in top form to finish the platter, but we didn't falter 💪 We devoured the mountain, and we will be back to taste your wonderful seafood platters! Bravo!!!

02/10/2026: I rarely leave a review, but this bakery is a real Proustian madeleine. We feel right at home there. They have a wide variety of high-quality products, and the price is excellent.

17/10/2026: The food was exceptional, the fish of remarkable quality, and the staff very pleasant. Unfortunately, the overall experience left a bitter taste. A few disappointing details for an establishment of this caliber: a simple baguette cut from a basket and crumbs left uncleared between courses. But the most disturbing aspect was our seating and the strong feeling of discrimination that resulted. In the main dining room, only white customers were seated when we visited. In the back room, our table (my wife wears a headscarf) was seated next to another table of Black customers. Finding this segregation particularly strange, I personally got up to check the availability of tables in the main dining room. I noticed that several tables for two were free, and they remained so throughout our meal. We therefore truly felt that we had been deliberately seated separately, as if they were trying to hide us from the rest of the clientele. I obviously can't say for sure what the establishment's intentions were, but the observed facts are troubling and raise serious questions about the criteria for seating customers. It's particularly regrettable: we came to experience exceptional cuisine and left with the feeling that we hadn't been treated equally. Excellent cuisine alone cannot erase such a feeling of unease.

08/09/2026: Basically it is a nice café in a great location with friendly staff. Unfortunately, there was a customer who was so filthy that we could smell him from two tables away. We would have liked to stay longer, but our noses wouldn't allow it.

13/08/2026: Food was ok but nothing special. The service was kind but a little bit too slow. The view to Mont Blanc from the terrace is fantastic.

06/08/2026: The service was lovely and very attentive, the food was excellent and beautifully presented... and what can I say about the view! Kudos to this sheepfold for not taking the easy route and serving mediocre food compensated for by the exceptional location.

12/10/2026: During a family visit to Gruissan, we returned twice to Le Joffre because of the wonderful welcome we received! A family-run restaurant where the food is excellent. We tried the fish of the day and some salads, both with generous portions. We'll be back for Pentecost!

26/10/2026: The wait time was far too long for a weekday lunchtime!

25/10/2026: We had already been twice without any problems. But our last experience left much to be desired. I called the day before to make a reservation, but upon arrival, no reservation had been recorded (I double-checked on my phone afterward, and I did call the correct number the day before). Once everyone at our table had arrived, our order wasn't taken for another 20-25 minutes. When choosing our dishes, we were told that one of our choices was no longer available (lasagna). We chose something else, but it was also unavailable because they were out of pepperoni. When you have such a shortage of ingredients, you should mention it when you give us the menu, not after giving us time to choose… Then, we had to wait almost another 35 minutes to be served! Even though the restaurant wasn't full and there were several servers. Perhaps there was a problem in the kitchen? The glass of wine we ordered had to be reordered because it had been forgotten. For dessert, there was also a long wait for the menu. Once we'd made our choice, we were told that it too was unavailable! (Tiramisu brioche). So we simply ordered a regular coffee. And we were served an espresso… A little bonus: upon arrival, I went to the restroom with my daughter. There was already no soap left, even though it was barely 12:30 pm. We'll think twice before coming back…
