31/07/2026: The context: my partner is hospitalised and I am very stressed and sad. I must find things to fill my time when I cannot be in hospital with them. Also, I look like an evil gay wizard at all times. The day: I had just a moment for dinner before speeding across town to see my partner as they came out of surgery. The sun was radiant and hot. I was incredibly anxious and thus wasn't very hungry. The place: Les Fontaines was near where I was staying and partner and I had eaten there before and were impressed by their food and manner. This time was no different. I was in no mood to be charming enough to offset my appearance, but Les Fontaines staff were exceedingly sweet and accommodating: vigilant but not too close or crowding. I had: soupe a l'oignon and some frites. Soup was warm, round, salty, rich but not too much for the weather, cheese and bread perfectly chewy. Chips were incredible: potatoey and crunchy, but with a beautiful mashed potato fluffiness. Very reasonably priced and served fast enough that I made it in time to the hospital. Thank you for having me and for being so kind and friendly when I was having such a trying day.

28/07/2026: We had a wonderful evening at Les Fontaines. The €49 menu was very generous and delicious, and above all, the service was superb thanks to Nicolas, who made our evening truly enjoyable.

10/10/2026: Hello, I had lunch at Flunch this Saturday, October 10, 2026. Despite the large crowd, I found the staff particularly dedicated and professional. I especially noticed a young woman named Chloé, whose name I made sure to ask. I found her remarkable, always attentive to the customers, meticulous about every detail, and responsive to their every need. Having myself held team management positions within a large company, I know how to recognize a well-organized team. I witnessed a veritable ballet, with superb collective choreography, where everyone seemed to perfectly master their role. All this with coordination worthy of a true conductor! I would particularly like to congratulate Chloé for her professionalism, energy, and dedication to service. But I would also like to congratulate the person who recruited her or who helped her develop. It's important to recognize talent, and Chloé is clearly one of them. She possesses excellent professional qualities, and I am convinced that she still has a great deal of potential and a bright future ahead of her. Congratulations to Chloé, her supervisors, and the entire Flunch team for this outstanding performance!

05/10/2026: We wanted to come for an afternoon snack at your place, but it was closed! It's quite common for you to close in the afternoons, and you're only open Friday and Saturday evenings, and now in the afternoons too! We don't even know why you're closing! And now we can't get a crepe or a waffle before 3:30 PM—it's absurd! What are we supposed to do if we finish work at 2:30 PM?!

10/09/2026: A very bad experience. The waiter was completely unprofessional: he sighed, made inappropriate remarks in front of customers, and behaved disrespectfully towards a young colleague, whom he shouted at across the room. As for the food, it was a huge disappointment: the couscous made me sick, and the €25.90 grilled kebab consisted of a single kebab and a few fries, with no presentation whatsoever. His only response was: "That's 350 grams. If you wanted meat, you should have ordered a ribeye steak." A truly unbelievable excuse. Overpriced, disappointing quality, and deplorable service. I absolutely do not recommend it.

06/09/2026: The welcome was very cold and the staff particularly unpleasant. The smell from the toilets permeated the dining room, as the door was left open, which was very unpleasant during the meal. The food was far from satisfactory and the prices were excessive for the quality offered. A very disappointing experience; I do not recommend this establishment.

14/03/2026: It is permanently closed; it has been bought out.

06/03/2026: The restaurant is now closed (since February 2026). The pizzeria "Pizzati" is taking over the space and expanding. It's a shame, the food was really good and generous, and the staff were friendly and helpful!

14/09/2026: We got married on August 15th at the Château Fort de Sedan. The hotel was our main service provider for the entire wedding: rooms for family and friends, service staff, aperitifs, meals, a cheese-based wedding cake, room setup, and more. We want to publicly express how delighted we were to entrust our wedding to the Hotel and Restaurant La Principauté, and therefore, to everyone who works there. Thank you to Amélie, who for almost a year acted as our wedding planner, successfully finding solutions to the countless organizational challenges. Thank you to the Chef for his menu, which delighted all 150 guests, and for his extra-large aperitif! Thank you to Thomas and the entire team for your service until 5:00 a.m.! Thomas was exceptional in the efforts he made for us, and we are very grateful. Finally, a huge thank you to the Hotel Manager for her active participation in the organization and her hard work, in perfect collaboration with her teams on the ground. The hotel and restaurant truly deserve their reputation. Those who work here perform exquisite craftsmanship, ensuring the utmost enjoyment for their guests, with rigor, passion, and boundless warmth. Hats off to the team! We owe you an exceptional wedding! We will be back...

24/08/2026: Extremely disappointing. We booked through a platform. It wasn't a gift box. And yet… From the moment we arrived, we had a strange feeling that the place didn't live up to expectations. The welcome was cold. They refused to offer my husband a single coffee, even though we ordered two of the three breakfasts (needless to say, we skipped them, and as it turned out, we were right to do so!). We were shown to our caravan. The door was opened. And that was it. No assistance or explanation whatsoever, neither about practical matters nor about the "activities" listed in the advertisement. We settled in. And we discovered: the almost complete lack of hygiene. The dilapidated state of the accommodation and equipment. Two towels. Two moldy outdoor chairs. One tiny bar of soap as "hotel services." But there were four of us. A constant, nauseating smell (not the smell of the countryside, but a leak from the septic tank under the caravan). No light in the bathroom. Etc… The activities offered for children could have at least mitigated this awful feeling of being ripped off, but no. None of the advertised activities actually existed. The other guests had the same experience. The host didn't even bother to ask if we had enjoyed our stay. In short, a complete disaster. At €125 per night (from 5 pm to 10 am). Clearly, the very attractive photos in the listing are old and filtered by AI because they don't match the description. The advertised activities are fake. Absolutely avoid this place.

15/08/2026: Truly a wonderful way to experience hospitality. We spent a night in the gypsy caravan, beautifully furnished and extremely comfortable. It's ideal for those who like to escape the crowds. It's also worth mentioning that we'd booked on the wrong day, and they were very kind in finding a solution for us.
