21/06/2026: The view was superb, but what a shame the industrial waffle was cold, practically frozen, with the chocolate on the side, and the two ice cream sundaes in a chipped container. Avoid this place; I definitely don't recommend it.

27/02/2026: We spent two nights in this château, including dinner at the restaurant on Saturday evening. The property is a little way from Verdun, but offers a particularly peaceful and relaxing setting. The rooms and grounds are of a high standard. The private spa is a real bonus, although we found it a bit pricey and the hammam was unfortunately closed. The restaurant offers quality cuisine, although we felt the price was a little high. However, the cheese platter was absolutely delicious! Highly recommended for its exceptional setting.

07/05/2026: After a very warm welcome, we enjoyed a delicious lunch of generously portioned, homemade dishes made with the freshest local ingredients. The homemade dessert was also a delight. A smaller menu featuring high-quality ingredients would be much better. I also highly recommend this stop for cyclists.

Their portions are generous. My daughter and son loved it. I'll be back and I highly recommend it. Thank you to the team for their hospitality.

28/06/2026: We (the two of us) would have liked to have chosen a table for four with a view of the lake. Instead, the server offered us a table for two almost in the middle of the terrace. The reason given: the desired spot was too warm. The server received a thumbs-up from the owner for this. When we had to ask twice about a food intolerance, we were answered in English. Having lived in Provence for decades, we are quite confident in our ability to communicate, even if a German accent might be noticeable. Our dissatisfaction increased when a couple (about 10 minutes after our arrival) were offered the table for four. The galettes were okay. When ordering coffee, we were asked if we meant espresso. All in all, far from what I consider good service (see my previous reviews).

01/07/2026: It's possible to arrive in the early evening without having to go home. We were able to quickly choose our meals. The wait for the food was very reasonable. A real plus when you're with children. A warm welcome, excellent food (pizzas and desserts), very flavorful ice cream, and a very affordable price. (Very generous pizzas at €13) The location along the main road has its advantages and disadvantages, but frankly, the shaded terrace in the evening was much appreciated in the heat. We are very satisfied and will definitely return.

Via Pipi is a restaurant with a very pleasant mountain atmosphere and a relaxed atmosphere, perfect after a day on the slopes or in the mountains. The food is truly delicious, well-seasoned, fresh, and prepared with attention to detail. The menu includes both classic dishes and more modern options, ensuring everyone will find something to their liking. The service is a big plus: friendly, helpful, and efficient, even when it's busy. It's clear they care about their guests' comfort. Another advantage is the location and atmosphere – you can truly relax here and soak up the mountain atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit, the food is excellent and the place has a great energy. I'd love to come back 😀

15/02/2026: The establishment doesn't even bother to answer the phone for a reservation. (Several calls were attempted.) Perhaps we'll have the opportunity to come and review the food one day!

14/01/2026: The welcome was pleasant, but the service was a bit slow (40 minutes for the first course) and the dishes were disappointing, dry and the meat tough. We won't be back.

25/07/2026: The drinks were nice but out waitress had a big attitude and was drowning 24/7. We were seated next to a storm drain which smelled terrible. They also charged us more than what the menu said it would cost us. NOT SATISFIED

21/07/2026: Well... What can I say?! It's not the first time I've melted over his burger... wow, my mouth is watering! My apologies, Doctor! I forgot to mention that I couldn't resist the desserts either! (And understandably so.) Every time I'm in Dol, I allow myself this little indulgence, but I have to admit, it's worth it! And what's more, the owner is friendly and welcoming... So, bikers, if you want to forget about your diet for a bit, go for it, because he's a biker too! Happy riding, everyone!

13/07/2026: I visited the restaurant this Monday the 13th and ordered a Nutella wafer. After 5 minutes, two employees were laughing at the register before processing my order (of course, I was the only customer in the restaurant). They should have been cleaning the restaurant, which was dirty, instead of messing around with the register. I do not recommend it.

03/07/2026: The staff and place are nice, however, they consistently get orders wrong, and the salad quantity is a joke… This has happened several times.

03/07/2026: Catastrophic cleanliness. Dirty tables, trays not cleared, drinks spilled on chairs and the floor. I even had to wipe my table down before I could sit down. The only star is for the fries, which at least were served hot. Otherwise, the state of the dining room was deplorable. Given the apparent lack of hygiene, it doesn't inspire any confidence whatsoever. Yet, it wasn't crowded and no one seemed to be taking care of the cleaning. Very disappointing.

08/06/2026: Between June 2025 and June 2026, the brunch price per person increased by €3. We're used to a constant rise in prices these days, but here it seems somewhat unjustified because the quality of service has declined: in June 2025, hot drinks were unlimited, but in June 2026, only one hot drink is included. I still recommend La Reine Jane for Sunday brunch, but the price of €42 per person seems exorbitant, and I won't be returning because I was disappointed by the drop in service quality compared to the price increase.

19/05/2026: I'm disappointed with my visit to the bakery. I bought my baguette and found mouse hairs inside. I'm going to write a letter to the health department.
