23/05/2026: A little hidden gem tucked away on a side street off the main road, the cellar is nice and cool, which is perfect for summer. The background music is 80s/90s, and the staff are friendly and open to any kind of conversation. We had a great time for €40/€41, including two glasses of wine and two local dishes. Highly recommended.

11/04/2026: We came with 10 aircraft from the South Vendée region for lunch together. Seventeen pilots, students, and instructors were around the table. Excellent welcome. We were pleasantly surprised by the value for money: a starter, main course, and dessert for €20—that's impressive, and it was delicious. Well done! The service was quick and efficient. In short, a very good place to eat, and we'll gladly return.

09/07/2026: CORRECTION 08/07/2026: Ate there again today after a year. The ambiance is generally nice, shady, and pleasant with its misting system, although the number of guests makes the atmosphere less welcoming and more like a commercial event. The food: Generally different from last year, but overall it seems like the focus has shifted to mass production. The beer was incredibly warm, not chilled, and they only offer small drinks to maximize profits. This doesn't seem very customer-friendly at all 👎. Caesar salad: large portion, fresh meat, so far so good. 8/10 Venteux sausage: An overly seasoned Maggi sauce completely overpowered the taste. The sausage itself wasn't as tasty as it used to be. Now it's potatoes, not mashed potatoes, but with a small dollop of ready-made sauce. 4/10 The Bowle de la Place: unlike the Caesar salad, it came with cheap, processed chicken, which you can easily find in better quality at the supermarket. The rest was okay, although the dish seemed to be prepared very quickly overall. 2/10. EDIT: The next day, both of us who had eaten the chicken felt unwell. Nausea. The reaction of the previously so attentive staff was... shocking. No attention whatsoever. They only took our food order and then ignored us. When we ordered drinks, they immediately took our order for two beers. They didn't even ask about the third; the waitress just ran off. Strange. We would have liked dessert, but no one even looked at us for 20 minutes. Restaurant's development: quantity over quality 👎 The food is tasty and generally very good. Friendly staff, also multilingual and helpful. Portions are neither too big nor too small. Caesar salad: really good combination. Very original. Good chicken. Great sauce. Bravo. 9/10 Burger: The meat is good. The sauce tastes like a classic burger sauce from a tube = very sweet. The burger bun is brioche. Unfortunately, it's very dry because it was only partially cooked. It should have been crisped up briefly in the frying oil. 6/10 Venteux Sausage: Good sausage and delicious mashed potatoes. The gravy tasted like instant gravy, but it worked well. 7/10

08/07/2026: Unfortunately, we didn't enjoy our experience this time. We felt rushed, and the beer, whether bottled or pressed, was warm. My bowl was okay, except for the chicken, which was just processed meat and not tasty. It kind of put me off my food. After we finished eating, we were ignored, so we ended up paying, even though we would have liked to have dessert or an espresso. It's a shame; we really enjoyed it three years ago and one year ago. It's definitely gone downhill.

23/07/2026: I went here today for a sandwich with lettuce and tomato, the lady heated it up... without even asking. Who heats up a ham and cheese sandwich? It got all over the place in my bag. I look over and I see a lady unboxing cakes from a box... Just tasted it, tastes very bad. Would not reccoment, in that case the Subway next to it is much better (plus it's pretty pricey)!

30/10/2025: Excellent meal with flavorful meat. A real improvement in the portion size of fries, which had been disappointing in recent years. The waitress was attentive and provided excellent service. A great place for family meals, even with young children. Signed: A family loyal to Buffalo Grill for 28 years.

08/06/2026: We went as a couple. The buffet was hot even though it was just appetizers, and there wasn't much choice in the main courses. The toilets were dirty from the moment we opened them; the bin wasn't emptied and the toilet seat wasn't cleaned. I won't be going back.

12/04/2026: So, for our weekend ski trip with friends, we chose this restaurant with plenty of space. The waitress and owner were friendly, and the rib steak and beef bourguignon were excellent. The prices were reasonable too. In short, highly recommended if you're visiting Les Arcs 1800.

01/07/2026: I don't usually leave negative reviews, but this time… The menu was very limited, with no fish options other than fish and chips served with frozen fries. So I opted for a seafood platter as a main course, and what can I say… Three extremely small, watery prawns, three tasteless shrimp, and then oysters that were barely cold, two of which were milky and also very small. The service was very poor. The two stars for the food are solely for the galettes and crêpes, which were very good. Thank you, by the way, because at least I got to eat crêpes.

06/06/2026: We had a wonderful time as a family at this restaurant. The fish soup was exquisite, and the mussels marinière were equally delicious. The servers were pleasant and efficient. There were ten of us, and the children were served quickly and before the adults. The placemats have coloring pages on the back of the menu, which is a nice touch to keep the children occupied at the end of the meal.

12/06/2026: I came to eat during the week of June 8, 2026, and was served on the terrace by an unpleasant waitress with a bowl haircut and hairy legs. Her attire was very inappropriate for a waitress; she looked like she was going hiking. The food was excellent, no complaints there, but the waitress had a nauseating smell of essential oils mixed with what she must have showered three days prior. She was incredibly rude, and when I asked where the restrooms were, she didn't answer and rushed inside. This kind of behavior is repugnant, just like her smell. This type of person shouldn't work in restaurants but rather in construction. I would like to thank the two other waitresses for their warm welcome; thanks to them, we were able to have a wonderful time. Do not eat on the terrace if you are served by the one with the bowl haircut.

21/05/2026: The food was very average. I was disappointed with the pavlova dessert, supposedly homemade (but actually just store-bought meringue). The service was rather inconsiderate; the waitress didn't even come around to pour the wine.

02/05/2026: The bar staff are aggressive under the influence of alcohol and take many liberties under the small porch, including stealing people's belongings, smoking joints, and when you point out their aggression, the manager, who is present and aware of the situation, turns a blind eye to the staff's actions, all this right outside people's homes!
