02/06/2026: We discovered La Réserve on social media and we weren't disappointed! We had brunch there on a Saturday and everything was excellent. A warm welcome, a very pleasant setting, a varied and generous buffet, and delicious dishes. A great place that we can't wait to return to.

31/05/2026: Endless wait (the meal lasted 4 hours in total, even though the restaurant wasn't full), decent starter although the foie gras lacked accompaniments, tasteless fish dishes, meat that wasn't tender enough, and an overly sweet dessert. The decor is outdated; only the view is magnificent. We won't be back.

29/04/2026: Passing through Villacoublay for an evening, this small establishment is ideally located near the Ibis hotel. I received a very warm welcome, and the food is homemade. I found it to be very good and excellent value for money.

07/09/2026: The owner refused to serve me a coffee I'd paid for by card, then a glass of water I'd requested in 30°C heat: he sent me to the water fountain in the Jardin Lecoq instead of serving me. I can understand certain constraints, but the way he treated me was inhumane. The service needs improvement.

17/06/2026: I discovered this brasserie and I love it! The food is very good, the daily specials are varied and appetizing, and the desserts are decadent. The service is very pleasant and the person who served us was very attentive. I highly recommend it!

10/10/2026: Near Caen airport. A lovely place to enjoy good, simple, and generous cuisine. Starter buffet, four main courses to choose from, dessert buffet. And the value for money is simply excellent. Friendly, smiling, and efficient service. Thank you.

02/07/2026: I don't recommend this place. The appetizer and dessert buffets are mediocre for a restaurant. I eat better at home. You expect a minimum level of service.

28/08/2026: I was with my friend, we were speaking our language while drinking coffee inside. The owner came to tell us that we were in France. In short, don't go there, it's never open anyway.

17/10/2026: A very affordable and decent workers' restaurant, they serve offal (calf's head, kidneys) every Thursday, depending on availability. Cathy, the owner, is very friendly; she builds a loyal customer base and takes great care of them—a lovely person! I highly recommend it; the food is home-style and plentiful.

03/08/2026: Since the change of ownership, it's nothing like my previous experience! The welcome is now warm and friendly, the staff are smiling, and you really feel welcome. The setting remains very pleasant, especially the large terrace, but it's the atmosphere and the quality of the service that make all the difference now. Congratulations to the new owners for this very positive change. I highly recommend it and will gladly return! 😊

02/09/2026: Just received at 11:25 am on Wednesday, September 2nd, by a new gentleman named Omar at reception who was incredibly kind. Smiling, pleasant, and very welcoming, it was truly a pleasure to be received with such kindness. A big thank you to him for his hospitality! 😊

25/09/2026: A very enriching experience for us, being big kebab lovers. Our taste buds were certainly satisfied. After class at lunchtime, we went there, ventured into the unknown, and discovered something wonderful. I thank the chef for creating this kebab, which is so beautiful and so delicious. Trust me, go for it! The kebab is excellent, and the fries are too.

04/10/2026: Saturday 03/10/2026 at 7:57 PM I traveled a long way to come here and try the food only to find it closed for renovations which I understand, but google still shows it as open!! Please update your opening hours when you’re closed, so customers don’t come all the way for nothing.

03/10/2026: How can the pork be this sweet... and what is with this sourness... I ordered Jeyuk, but what is with grilled pork belly and aigre douce sauce? It feels like they've never even eaten kimchi before. It's definitely not Korean food. Ugh, it's sweet. Oh, and the rice is super hard. It's not cooked. Ugh, it's expensive and tastes awful.

13/09/2026: Not being able to throw a piece of paper in a yellow recycling bin... what a welcome! It makes you want to go there! My response: Sir, Thank you for your reply, which at least clarifies the circumstances. As a reminder, this was neither an attempt to "force" a bin, nor a desire to treat your establishment as a private dump. A woman in her seventies simply placed a piece of paper in a yellow recycling bin located on the public street, clearly believing it was for recycling. If, in your opinion, placing a piece of paper in a yellow recycling bin constitutes a sufficiently serious "offense" to justify such a vehement public intervention and response, everyone can judge for themselves the disproportion between the alleged act and the reaction it has provoked. My comment does not accuse you of any act that damages your honor or reputation. It simply expressed, in an ironic tone, an appreciation of the reception this person received. So, I'm going to raise the score for the cooking section: here, you seem to have managed to transform a simple drop of milk into actual cheese. What a talent! I'll leave it to you to reserve the term "defamation" for situations that truly meet the legal criteria. As for your invitation to an "adult discussion," I think the facts can perfectly well be presented without needing to label people or their intentions. You want to file a complaint: go ahead. By the way, walkers, if you ever feel like putting a piece of paper in a recycling bin, mine is open. Sincerely!

05/08/2026: We ordered two all-you-can-eat buffet and dessert menus, along with a half-bottle of rosé, and despite slightly slow service (due to the restaurant being busy), we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The staff were courteous and the communication was good. And as a nice touch, we were seated at the same table as before. We highly recommend it.
