Not all customers will realize it, or simply won't understand, but the owner has managed to infuse this Parisian bar with a good dose of provincial charm, conviviality, and humor. And that's so rare... Did the waitress speak to you curtly? Respond in kind and make a connection! She's actually super fun behind her "anti-tourist" mask. I don't think there are many bars where the owner crosses the boulevard to give you €10 back when he realizes there's been a mistake on the bill... Okay, okay, the croque-monsieur isn't amazing, but hey, you'll find better in this neighborhood! Always a pleasure to come back! And those who are always grumpy, go somewhere else, thank you.

21/08/2026: Les Oiseaux: one of those places that makes you feel like you've truly been to Paris. We arrived looking for a good meal and ended up finding something much better: a genuinely Parisian experience. Les Oiseaux is a small, cozy restaurant with character. It doesn't feel like a tourist trap, but rather like one of those local spots you hope to discover when you travel. And there's something that makes a big difference: it's run by its owner. That personal touch is evident in the service, the attention to detail, and the way they make you feel welcome. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. Here, you feel like you're paying not just for what arrives at your table, but for a complete experience: attentive service, a pleasant atmosphere, a personal touch, and authenticity. After visiting several places in Paris, this was one of those restaurants that truly stays with you. For me, Les Oiseaux takes the prize for a great local Parisian experience. One of those places I'd recommend to someone who wants to get away from the tourist crowds and experience a more intimate, warm, and authentic Paris. Definitely a place I'd return to.

28/09/2026: A lunch for 16 people to celebrate a birthday. A very warm welcome, excellent food, both in terms of quality and quantity, all at a very reasonable price. We will definitely return and highly recommend it.

23/07/2026: I love this chain, having been to many Joe and the Juice locations in Paris and London. I've been to this one three times in the last three days, and as someone who works in sales, I don't understand how it's possible to treat customers like that, with such insane nonchalance. Out of three orders and several different employees, only one was kind and welcoming (unfortunately, I don't have her name, but thank you to her). The others were awful for no reason. The sandwiches are great, the drinks too, but paying to feel unwelcome is insane. It's a real shame because it's a fantastic chain, but the staff reflects the brand image, and being served haphazardly, asking for cardboard to pack your sandwiches and getting a dirty look in response is just unacceptable. I sincerely understand that working in sales is hard, especially in the summer and when it's busy, so I completely understand that you can't be smiling and cheerful all the time, that's perfectly fine. But being rude to polite people, I don't understand that.

29/12/2025: Hello, I'm finally taking the time to write, but please note that I was there at the end of August. I wanted to climb the Puy Mary, being a big fan of the Tour de France. On that sweltering day at the summit, I decided to ask for water at this restaurant, which was refused! I hope that if a tax inspector happens to see this, they'll read my comment because it's completely illegal, dangerous, and inhumane. Furthermore, the staff is appalling, odious, definitely avoid this place. While I was there, all I got was reprimands and yelling. They certainly take advantage of their tenants (the only positive thing about this restaurant) because I had the chance to talk to other customers who also found the service disgusting.

10/10/2026: Very noisy, the service was slow, we ate so many carrots and olives served as a starter that we didn't eat our couscous and we were forbidden from taking it back; they had to serve it to other customers…

05/10/2026: We received a very warm welcome! A great find for a peaceful meal in this touristy area. This little restaurant is just a few hundred meters from the bustling center of Kaysersberg. This means we enjoyed an equally delicious meal in a more relaxed and peaceful atmosphere. And all at very reasonable prices. I highly recommend it!

02/10/2026: A wonderful discovery by chance! A warm welcome, a very friendly and attentive chef who readily accommodated my requests. I ordered the chateaubriand: excellent meat, perfectly prepared. Absolutely no complaints, I highly recommend it!

08/07/2026: It is a cozy bar where they serve small dishes. We ordered a bottle of wine and a charcuterie board. They only serve good wine from Corsica and everything else a bar has. The price of the wine is between 33 and 60 euros. The vibe is relaxed with a beautiful terrace. We arrived here around 11:30 PM.

15/06/2026: I'm giving it one star because the food was decent, but I don't understand why no one complained about the service. My husband and I ordered three plates of tapas and wanted dessert afterward, but after waiting 45 minutes without our plates being cleared, we got up and paid ourselves. I should mention that the servers were right next to us since there weren't many other customers. First and last time; maybe it appeals to tourists...

13/08/2026: Best sandwich I've ever eaten! They're so nice, they have amazing syrups, but their food is just so good! I don't really understand the 1-star rating; it's the best in Saint-Germain and the entire 78 region, and I mean it.

17/10/2026: Visiting Sarlat for three days, we were recommended by the manager of La Bayardine. The entire meal was excellent, from the onion soup to the exceptional and delicious cassoulet. The duck shepherd's pie was divine and I highly recommend it! The staff were welcoming and friendly, with a touch of humor 😅 The setting is magnificent, right in the heart of the city. I recommend you try Mamie's meals! We will return with pleasure and enthusiasm! What a treat!

11/10/2026: Superb place, excellent menu, the trout, the foie gras, the duck parmentier, the homemade cassoulet, the pear tiramisu, everything was really very good! Impeccable service, thank you to the lovely waitress and her colleague.

25/09/2026: The owner is exactly as his business card says: "Opening hours, come by and see if the light's on." Tonight, I witnessed a scene where the owner acted like a bully towards a customer who wanted to come in over something trivial, and was ultimately helped by one of his apparently very clever friends! If I hadn't already ordered, I would have left... in my opinion, he doesn't deserve any customers, even though the meal was admittedly decent, but unfortunately, there was no dessert.

13/10/2026: Absolutely terrible, yuck! We got takeout. The spring rolls were a bit dry, but the pasta and the fish (slimy) were awful. We threw it straight in the bin after tasting it. Plus, it's expensive. Keep walking; there's much better Asian food a little further down the road.

06/10/2026: Excellent value for money. Warm welcome and very fast service. A fast-food restaurant worth considering.
