13/07/2026: The food was very good (grilled octopus and homemade cordon bleu). The waiter was very friendly and paid special attention to the dessert.

17/07/2026: Fantastic views, friendly owners, good food. I love this place. My advice, order a proper meal and marvel at the scenery. It is a shame to fill up quickly with a plate of chips and go, although this is an option. It is open in Summer and winter. You can find many local people here which is always a good sign.

10/07/2026: Never disappointed when you eat at L'Escale Blanche, winter or summer, you always have a pleasant time and the food is delicious 😋! 01/05/2026: If you came from Xiaohongshu (Little Red Book), you can come for photos, but if you're here for the food, it might not suit your taste—it's a bit tough and salty. However, it should be delicious for locals.

27/04/2026: If you'd like to (re)immerse yourself in Auvergne cuisine, you've come to the right place. The dishes are generous and the prices reasonable. They're attentive, but reservations aren't possible. Nevertheless, I highly recommend it.

02/05/2026: The welcome is particularly warm, kind, and attentive. It's a site open to everyone, where everyone can enjoy their visit in a peaceful and pleasant setting. A wonderful discovery for families, which we wholeheartedly recommend. We will gladly return!

05/05/2026: On the evening of April 30, 2026, my son, daughter-in-law, and I were looking forward to celebrating my birthday once again at La Maison des Tanneurs, a restaurant I have only fond memories of and have recommended many times. But what a disappointment! The sauerkraut was mediocre, the pike-perch tasteless... but the real low point was my vegetarian dish, which I wouldn't have dared serve to anyone at home: a mound of dry sauerkraut surrounded by bland or overly salty boiled vegetables, apart from two spoonfuls of cooked red cabbage. The overly sweet rhubarb tart had lost all its acidity, but the iced kougelhopf was good. What happened that evening?

24/04/2026: Corentin gave me a fantastic welcome! He was pleasant, smiling, and attentive (I'm a difficult customer 😹). It was great, and the food was as good as ever!

21/04/2026: It was okay, but nothing special. The fact that the entire restaurant is black only highlights its grime. It's not a very comfortable place. We won't be back.

28/07/2026: Terrible service. The waiter was incredibly rude. I found a hair in one of my potatoes, and when I told him, he just took the plate away. I assumed he would replace it, but he never came back, so I went to the register myself. He said he showed it to the chef, but there was no solution. He didn't care and charged me the same amount. I didn't even eat more than half of my food, and it was still very expensive.

28/07/2026: I can't comment on the food, but I went for a drink and the waiter was really pleasant. Very happy with my visit.

01/07/2026: First of all, it was way too expensive. Two pieces of bread for 10 euros? The croissant was good, but Le pain des amis was disappointing.

30/06/2026: Wanting to try the famous bread, and not being from the neighborhood, I happened to be passing by, so I went for the first time, finally! The bread is simply incredible, such a different, intense flavor, and nothing like any other so-called "country" bread. Is this the real bread of our ancestors?

12/07/2026: A great restaurant where we had a lovely time. We went in the summer and enjoyed lunch in a very pleasant setting. The meal was good, the dishes were well prepared, and the waitress was very friendly and welcoming. A great place that we happily recommend.

18/06/2026: We spent one night at your hotel on Tuesday, June 16th. The welcome was good; we had room 23. There are some changes that need to be made, particularly in the bathroom. The toilet, which is right next to the bathtub, really needs to be moved (it wasn't very clean). We were also disappointed at breakfast. We were served stale bread, and the cake was also dry. In short, all of this needs to be addressed. Mr. and Mrs. R. Patrick

20/07/2026: Fantastic Korean barbecue after the BTS concert, with top-quality meats. A generous and delicious meal. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the staff is very welcoming. I highly recommend it to meat lovers and fans of Korean food, of course.

20/07/2026: I made a reservation at this restaurant for July 16th, 2026 at 7:30 PM for two people, one of whom is disabled (myself). The staff was welcoming and helped me up a rather high step as I was in a wheelchair. The atmosphere was pleasant, with unlimited K-pop, especially BTS songs, which is much appreciated by ARMYs like us 😂. The Korean food was excellent; we ordered a tasting menu with fried chicken, japchae, Korean barbecue, and hotteok. The Korean barbecue was very generous, so we couldn't finish it all. The young waitress we had that evening was incredibly friendly and kind, always smiling (she even helped me in my wheelchair—she's incredibly strong! 🤣). We might return for another BTS concert, but it would be great if the restaurant had a ramp; it would make access much easier. A huge thank you to the whole team for this evening.

12/04/2026: I came to eat with my wife for her 60th birthday. The welcome was friendly and attentive. The menu isn't very extensive—three starters, three main courses, and three desserts—but the food was good and very fresh. The aperitif was excellent and generous, the main courses were superb, and the dessert was also excellent. The wine was excellent and paired well with the dishes. The prices were average, and the cherry on top was a complimentary digestif.

29/03/2026: The food is good but ordinary. Uninspired and uninspired, with no surprises. Therefore, expensive for what's on offer. The service was slow at first, then rushed. No smiles.
