21/07/2026: We had a very bad experience at this brasserie. We were asked to leave our table because we only ordered a glass of water. When we asked to order more, we were refused without any valid explanation. This treatment deeply shocked us, especially since we felt we were treated differently because of the presence of a Black person and a woman wearing a hijab in our group. We cannot definitively say what the staff's intentions were, but this situation left us with a strong sense of injustice and discrimination. We simply expected to be welcomed with respect, like any other customer. Unfortunately, that was not the experience we had at this establishment.

08/07/2026: This restaurant is mediocre; the food doesn't justify the price—far too expensive. The service is hypocritical, a tourist trap, and they haven't had ham on the children's menu for several years now—bizarre.

26/06/2026: Despite the heatwave, we went to this restaurant! The staff kindly offered to let us go down to the cool lawn by the pond! The dishes were fresh and perfectly delicious! But once again, I've never encountered such pleasant and helpful staff!

20/06/2026: Restaurant. Very poor value for money. The chef is on vacation. They don't know how to cook a steak to medium-rare. The grilled cuttlefish is served hot, not cold. Awful.

29/05/2026: Second bad experience at the drive-thru in less than a month. - The first time, I was alone at the drive-thru and waited almost 10 minutes without any communication from the employees at the order kiosk. So I left. - The second time, same situation: alone at the drive-thru, I was asked to wait "a little while," which ended up lasting at least 5 to 10 minutes. So, once again, I left, because I wasn't going to wait indefinitely like the first time, especially without any further information. This is unacceptable, especially since no one else was at the drive-thru. The wait was therefore completely unjustified.

22/07/2026: First off, there's the haughty attitude at reception, just like it's been for years, especially when they turn off the lights a few minutes before the end and couldn't care less. €4 to rent a ball? I've never seen that in any squash club, it's outrageous (a 2-player ball costs €2 to buy). Now the third player is also charged extra (unheard of). With all these imposed fees, there are still cockroaches on your courts and in the hallways, and dust bunnies everywhere. A cash cow, no respect for squash.

22/06/2026: I ordered a cocktail and a wok to be brought to me with the beer, as agreed with the waiter. And of course, they brought the wok while I was still drinking my cocktail, right at the beginning. The waiter apologized, fine, and brought the wok. Then another waiter brought the wok a few moments later. This forced me to finish my cocktail quickly, which I didn't appreciate. Then they brought me the beer when I was already well into the wok. In short... I couldn't enjoy my dinner as peacefully as I would have liked. The wok was overcooked, the vegetables and noodles were mushy, and the duck was tough because it was overcooked, even though it tasted good—a real shame. Furthermore, the dining room wasn't even air-conditioned all day, even though it was very hot. I didn't go back, even though I was staying at the hotel right next door. It's much better to go just 200 meters further; "Au Bureau" has air conditioning and impeccable service.

21/05/2026: A very pleasant evening at Basmati. The restaurant was very clean. The staff were friendly. The food was very good. We will definitely return.

17/05/2026: Order placed through Deliveroo. Everything was awful. The naan was dry and had no filling, the food was tasteless, lacked seasoning, and was watery, the lentils in the dahl were undercooked and therefore indigestible—and the dishes were served without any garnish. It's been a long time since I've been the victim of such a culinary scam, and the positive reviews can't be from humans with taste buds—they must be robots. Avoid them like the plague.

11/07/2026: Huge disappointment when we opened the pizza boxes we bought today: the sizes have shrunk considerably! We've been coming here for delicious, generous pizzas for a very long time (since the first owners), and we accept the understandable price increases, but switching to a children's size is a major strategic mistake. Personally, we prefer to pay a little more to keep the original size. Perhaps you should offer several sizes—S, M, L—to suit all tastes and budgets. Response: Purchased in person, no mistake with the size ordered, and the pizza has a 1 cm margin around it in a 28 cm wide box, so the diameter is less than 29 cm. If this is a manufacturing "accident," then too bad for us.

27/07/2026: We ordered two salads. They were generous and plentiful. The waitresses were very friendly. The service was quick. A place I recommend.

23/07/2026: What a wonderful discovery on the port of Argeles-sur-Mer! We had an excellent meal (the mussels au gratin with aioli are to die for!) and the service was top-notch. The price is more than reasonable! In short, give it a try; I think you won't be disappointed.
