10/05/2026: Everything was absolutely perfect. The family room is very spacious with a lovely bathroom. The meals at the restaurant are delicious, and the waiter is absolutely delightful. Breakfast is very varied, featuring high-quality local products.

The setting is truly lovely and the welcome warm. You can feel the expertise and attention to detail. We had a wonderful time from beginning to end. An address I wholeheartedly recommend and where we will gladly return!

03/10/2026: Back from a romantic weekend getaway. We are international tourism and hospitality professionals. Positive points: The hotel is quiet despite being right next to a dual carriageway. The common areas and rooms are nicely decorated. The bedding is very comfortable. The restaurant is pleasant and welcoming, with well-presented and delicious dishes. The restaurant staff is friendly and the service is quick. The breakfast buffet is excellent with a wide variety of choices. The spa is nice; we particularly enjoyed the tropical rain shower and the hammam. The next day, the receptionist at check-out was friendly and attentive. Negative points: The check-in was rushed and impersonal, and we felt like we were bothering the receptionist (with the ponytail). The card machine malfunctioned, and he made an exasperated noise, saying it was probably the credit card! We didn't know whether to laugh or...? Then he asked us what time we would be having breakfast. We didn't know (it was a Saturday morning on a romantic weekend getaway...). He again looked exasperated and warned us that we would have to let them know later, otherwise we would have to wait. We found that odd... Once we arrived in the room, which was right next to the elevator, we tried to call reception, but the phone wasn't working. We were able to change rooms and wondered why they had initially assigned us a smaller, less quiet room. We had booked the room + spa package, and right after booking, my partner received a call from reception saying that the spa was optional. Fortunately, this was corrected. The spa is shared, even though we had to reserve access. This wasn't a problem for us, except that at the spa reception, they told us, "There you go, you have access from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm," so we understood that we would be alone. After the hammam, we were having tea in our bathrobes when the receptionist came in and washed his hands in the stone sink right next to us. Strange. At 9:30 a.m., I called reception to tell them we'd be coming down in 10 minutes. The receptionist told me we had to hurry because they were already clearing the tables! But isn't breakfast served until 10:30 a.m.? A couple came down at 10:20 a.m. and were practically yelled at by the barmaid! At least it gave us a chance to connect with them because they were just as shocked as we were; what kind of behavior is that in a hotel? Areas for improvement: The hotel needs maintenance; Throwing away torn lounge chairs on the balconies, emptying the ashtrays on the patio regularly, cleaning tea/coffee stained cups, and cleaning the faucets in the rooms with vinegar are all important details! Providing two bottles of water in the rooms instead of one, and adding water fountains on each floor so guests don't have to trek across the entire hotel at night to the gym to refill their bottles. In short, mixed feelings: the hotel has potential, but some employees are a major drawback. As guests, we don't want to be patronized and treated as if we're bothering the staff. Service is an art, and if you lack proper training, it's best to refrain from making it your profession.

04/10/2026: This restaurant is exceptional! The food is absolutely delicious, EVERYTHING IS HOMEMADE! From the salmon appetizers to the duck breast carpaccio, from the cassoulet to the rum baba, it was a TREAT!

26/09/2026: I want to warmly thank La Mie Câline in Alençon. Always smiling and pleasant 🙂 I came for a birthday cake (the day before) – a giant cookie and it was amazing!!!! A lovely surprise 🥰 They were very attentive and offered great advice. They also offer a wide selection of toasts, gourmet cakes, and more... The owners and staff are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend them!!!

22/05/2026: We stop here every time we go to the Limousin region. The hotel is very well located, the prices are reasonable, and the restaurant has several set menus and is very busy. The staff is very attentive.

07/09/2026: The meal was quite decent and good value for money on the €16 set menu. However, we were very disappointed when the bill arrived. There were two of us, and we also ordered a half-pint of beer and a glass of Chardonnay. The bill came to €43, without any itemized breakdown. Finding the amount rather high compared to the advertised price of the meal, we asked for a receipt after paying, simply to check the details. Our request was refused on the grounds that the receipt should be requested before payment. We find this practice regrettable. When a customer simply wants to know the details of what they have paid for, it seems reasonable to be able to provide them with a receipt, even after payment. It's a shame, because we enjoyed our meal and the initial welcome was positive. But the lack of transparency regarding the bill and the refusal to provide us with a receipt ultimately left us with a rather negative impression of the establishment.

It was served in just 1 hour and 30 minutes at a very reasonable price. Thank you to the entire team. Highly recommended restaurant.

14/09/2026: This reception venue is ideal! The hall is beautiful, with a large terrace and a magnificent garden. Vianney is very pleasant and professional. He recommended some vendors, we followed his advice, and we weren't disappointed. Thanks to him, we had a wonderful wedding. We thank him again for his support and recommend him without hesitation! 04/09/2026: A lovely, friendly place in a beautiful setting. We had our wedding reception there, a small gathering with a rustic theme, and ended up under the weeping willow tree because it was so hot. I highly recommend it. Thank you, Vianney.

06/10/2026: The worst falafels I've ever eaten. Old, dry, and straight from the refrigerated counter. Even the pastries were old and dry.

30/09/2026: The traditional roast rabbit with its accompanying vegetables was excellent. Perfectly cooked. Quantity and quality were both present; this is an excellent restaurant in Sées. The price is very reasonable. We had table 111 that day.

25/09/2026: A warm welcome and professional service with a smile. We had the dish of the day: a fillet of sea bass with butternut squash purée... excellent. The gourmet coffee is a must-try. We had a lovely time. We'll be back.

28/09/2026: A wonderful discovery at this crêperie and pizzeria. A beautifully renovated little covered terrace and a very pleasant outdoor area. An attractive menu and excellent value for money. A real treat with both savory buckwheat crêpes and pizzas.

20/09/2026: Very welcoming, good salad, however the galettes weren't great, which is a shame.

15/10/2026: Arriving at 8 PM, we had to wait 1 hour and 20 minutes for a simple plate of charcuterie, and 2 hours after our arrival we finally got our pizza... if you want to eat here, plan your entire evening. I won't be back.
