02/10/2026: I went at 8:30 PM and the drive-thru attendant clearly didn't know the Golden Duo menu or the products sold by McDonald's. This is the first time this has happened to me at McDonald's and I'm stunned. Even after showing him the website and a picture. You should really consider better training for your staff because I wasted 30 minutes waiting for nothing. I don't recommend it and I won't be going back. If you must, make a detour to the one in Décines; they're much more competent.

04/09/2026: It was our first time at Vesuvio, and our last… The welcome was nonexistent; it's the first time we've ever seen anything like it on the Croisette. We entered the first part of the restaurant, and we were rudely ushered out, told it wasn't the "right entrance." We went to the indicated entrance, but no one greeted us. After waiting a few minutes, we decided to venture further inside. We arrived at the bar. When we mentioned we had a reservation, one of the bartenders practically laughed in our faces. We were initially seated at a table right by the window, facing people eating outside. We asked to move, and the man sighed as if we were bothering him. For the price, you can find better elsewhere. On the other hand, our second waiter (the young guy from Antibes ^^) was very professional and improved things considerably. However, we won't be returning.

03/09/2026: Food was good except for our Pizza order. We were a group of 8 and two of our group did not receive their pizza on time. It was after everyone finished his meal. Their excuses was there is no communication between the main kitchen and pizza one. The place is over rated.

08/10/2026: A warm welcome, a generous menu, and all this at a competitive price.

04/10/2026: La Rotonde offers generous, homemade French cuisine, featuring fresh ingredients and flavorful dishes. The portions are substantial, and the prices are very reasonable for Cannes. The welcome is warm, the service pleasant, and the atmosphere convivial. A special mention goes to the daily specials and homemade desserts, especially the tarte Tatin—a true delight! A great neighborhood spot, away from the hustle and bustle of the Croisette. I highly recommend it for a pleasant meal of simple, fresh, and authentic cuisine.

21/08/2026: Marie Blachère SEMEAC offers three types of baguettes: lightly baked, medium baked, and well-baked (my favorites), all perfectly crusty. The only problem is that every time I make the trip to buy some, they're out of stock. I explain each time that the reason they don't have them is because people buy them, and they need to increase production specifically for these baguettes. No matter how much I insist, no one seems to take my comments seriously. It's a shame because the bread is excellent, but today they just lost a customer. I don't have time to waste. From now on, I'll buy my well-baked baguettes at the Brauhauban market in Tarbes. They also have excellent well-baked bread there, just the way I like it, which is easily as good as Marie Blachère's. It's a bit of a detour, but at least I'm never disappointed there. I still gave it two stars in my review to show that, despite everything, Marie Blachère's bread is still very good, when they have it...

06/08/2026: Very welcoming staff. They suggest products without pressuring you. The bread tastes good, and the pastries are very affordable and tasty.

27/08/2026: We ate here today. The welcome was very warm. A big thank you to the waiter who took care of us. He was very funny and incredibly kind. The portions were huge. I have very fond memories of this experience. P.S.: I'm still waiting for the cooks to give me a spanking! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

12/08/2026: Great place! We hadn't been for 14 years, and I found the pizza I used to love. The desserts are very good too.

09/04/2026: THE END We have visited this restaurant several times, though not as regulars, and the experience has always been very satisfactory until now. The welcome was warm, with thoughtful touches like canapés upon arrival, and the service was generally attentive. During our last visit, we learned that the establishment would be closing permanently on March 28, 2026. Unfortunately, this was noticeable quite quickly in the overall experience. Some of the usual touches were missing: no toast with tapenade while we waited, no draft beer, no mustard. We understand that an impending closure complicates things, but it remains important to maintain a certain level of professionalism until the very last day. As for the food, the quality was lacking this time: one of the two pieces of meat was particularly tough and inedible. The atmosphere in the dining room also gave the impression of service performed without real enthusiasm, as if it were one too many. It's all the more regrettable as our previous visits had always been successful. We'll remember a restaurant that knew how to do well, but which ends on a very disappointing note. Judging by the last service, it's clear that the motivation was no longer there. If we understand correctly, the team is abandoning traditional restaurant service for cafeteria-style dining. We wish them well.
