21/06/2026: A huge thank you to the entire team at this bakery for their kindness and generosity. For Father's Day, the baker gave my father his favorite cake. This seemingly simple gesture meant so much to our family during a particularly difficult time. Beyond the quality of their products, you'll find genuine humanity there. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

25/03/2026: Delicious food at reasonable prices – despite the tiny portion of rice costing an extra €3. The waiter shuffled around the restaurant looking unmotivated when he wasn't at his computer. The ambiance wasn't very nice, and the plastic chairs were cold. But the food was good and hot – what more could you want?

15/01/2026: Lunch for two. The restaurant was soulless, not even heated to a comfortable temperature for customers, and the service was deplorable. There was absolutely no interaction with us (we were the only table). Our starter was a shrimp salad with no Asian dressing, just a plastic bottle of buttercup brandy placed directly on the table 🤔 – unheard of! The waiter was hiding behind the counter, not asking for coffee or a digestif after the meal, nor for the bill. He didn't even escort his customers to the door. In short, the service was on par with McDonald's. I do not recommend it.

25/05/2026: On our way to the airport, we dared (as the name says). This was our last restaurant before flying home from one the food capitals... And as we had done and enjoyed many times during our trip, we picked a random town with a local restaurant in Bron (Lyon). We took the standard (very popular in Europe) entrée, main and dessert. Once we had ordered and eaten our entrées, we waited a good 35_45 minutes and started noticing all other tables had been served. We politely mentioned this and asked if they had forgotten us. "No, no, it's coming out right now... " the waitress said only to come back and tell us that indeed they had forgotten to tell the kitchen. Ok, this happens and being on vacation we didn't mind too much. We were told by (the Owner? Manager? ) none of our mains were left and to take a main something off the menu even if a little pricier. We stuck to the cheapest, the fish n chips (2). He mentioned this would be quite good. And, hopeful, we waited again. When the plate came, mine was cold and uncooked. Unaware of this I took a few bites but 50% of the fish was raw... Not good at all. Our time spent at the restaurant was now over 90 minutes and I had no time to wait for a third attempt so I ate some fries. When the owner came I mentioned and showed him the raw fish. I received a tiny apology. And we ordered strawberries dessert which came promptly. Quite good. We paid (after waiting 15 minutes as there was a lineup at one point of 10 people. My significant other and I have hospitality experience... This was a terrible experience and not dealt properly. They were under staffed.

11/06/2026: Excellent restaurant! My children love the kids' menu (with the toys). I recommend the Lebanese and the kebab, which are delicious. The staff is welcoming and quick to prepare the order. Don't hesitate!

27/07/2026: A truly lovely team, always smiling, always a kind word. The sea view is a nice bonus. In the evening, the bar lights up with all its garlands, allowing patrons to enjoy various forms of entertainment in a friendly atmosphere. Thank you to the whole team!

26/07/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance in the pouring rain and received a warm welcome. The young woman who seated us went out of her way to make us comfortable. The menu is simple but effective. The presentation was lovely. The waitress was delightful. We will gladly return.

03/06/2026: We waited in front of the window for the opening. We were joined by girls who had been there the year before and praised the food and service. Unfortunately, the restaurant has been closed for several days. Perhaps permanently.

18/05/2026: We ate at Le Verre Galant restaurant, located on Place Saint-Vincent in the pedestrian center of Chalon-sur-Saône. The restaurant has a terrace overlooking the square with a direct view of the cathedral. Inside, the atmosphere is that of a brasserie. The menu offers traditional French cuisine, with a nod to regional Burgundian specialties. We saw typical appetizers such as duck terrine with confit duck breast or poached eggs with Epoisses cream. The main courses follow the same style, with dishes like eggs meurette, chicken supreme with Epoisses sauce, and more classic cuts of meat. We ultimately chose the butcher's cut with Roquefort sauce. The presentation was simple and appetizing, and the portions were generous. The service was friendly and attentive. The drinks menu perfectly complements the meal with a genuine selection of Burgundy wines served by the glass, such as Rully, Mercurey, and Petit Chablis. It's a very good restaurant (offering unbeatable value for money) that we enjoyed for a delicious meal near the cathedral.

16/05/2026: Pleasant waiters, some very good dishes, a bit of a wait and a few oversights, but it seemed to me that the waiter must have been new. Good value for money.

11/04/2026: I've known this place for quite some time and I'm never disappointed. The food is good and reasonably priced. The best part is the atmosphere and the very warm welcome from François, Allan, and their team!

06/06/2026: What to make of it? But above all: why?! Radio France's overall design hasn't changed one bit since the 70s, but this... This is just ridiculous. The decor is reminiscent of a Pompidou-era elevator, the bottles behind the bar seem arranged by accumulated dust, everything looks worn, and there's even a glass-enclosed smoking room. To top it all off, the DJ improvises bizarre, haphazard transitions... Finding the place is practically a challenge. A few vinyl stickers are scattered on the floor now and then to point the way, but you have to look closely. The choice of colors for the logo doesn't exactly help either... In short. If you have the choice, you might as well have a drink by the Seine: The atmosphere is much more pleasant.

29/06/2026: Very clean, modern setting, 2 large parking lots opposite, fast service, pleasant staff, generous portions, very good value for money, dessert selection a little too simple, a shame for those with a sweet tooth.

02/08/2026: All five of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal, especially their specialty (the crêpes), but also their excellent steak tartare. The terrace is spacious, and for those who prefer, the interior is air-conditioned. The service was impeccable. Highly recommended!
