13/11/2025: Meal was acceptable. 8 guests had the plat du jour just over € 10 each. Had two glasses of wine, two beers,three coffees and two cokes. Boys went to pay and each was charged €61 each couple. Total bill € 240 !!!!! No receipt given back at till by server why not ? Noticed on way home way over charged it should have been less based on their published prices. Messaged within hours. No reply. Emailed, messages, messenger all ignored. Had to resort to revisiting and manager refused to refund overpayment. Asked where was the receipt ? Explained server did not give it back to us hmmm ? So 6 of us never going back again as felt very badly handled. Customer service very poor at handling this situation. I have written to their restaurant group too to ask for advice. Future guests check your bill carefully and ask for your receipt based on our experiences. Not recommended. We were visiting after attending the cremation of a very dear friend and it spoilt the whole celebration for us. Shame on this restaurant.

29/03/2026: Such a lovely and incredibly well located mountain café, situated above Plagne Bellcotte, perfect for those return trips from Les Arcs or skiing on this section of the Paradiski. Service was always smooth, slightly slower at peak times, but thats to be expected. Great food, great choice of drinks and tunes at the end of the day....

08/09/2026: After a disastrous experience leaving her establishment to a management company for personal reasons, the owner has returned to restore its reputation. The starters and main courses are classic French fare, but the ingredients are good and well-presented. The wine list needs to be replenished with some fine wines. The owner is very pleasant and friendly; she's even happy to explain some of the secrets behind her recipes. The location is lovely, a pleasant stop along the Canal d'Orléans.

04/09/2026: For me, one of the best taco restaurant experiences ever! Not only is it inexpensive, but the two owners are absolute sweethearts. Chatting with them is a pleasure, and honestly, I've never seen such a friendly and close-knit team working together to make it happen as these two wonderful people that my friends and I met tonight. I highly recommend it to everyone because it's a must-try! 11/10/2026: The restaurant's menu on their website is outdated, so you don't get what's listed. The service is very poor (you order one dish, they serve you another, and you can't send it back because they tell you the kitchen is closed). The dishes aren't freshly prepared. In short, a huge disappointment, and despite being part-time Chamonix residents, one thing is certain: we won't be back!

27/09/2026: I came for a €29 lunch menu and frankly it was perfect, the food was delicious, the service was top-notch, but the best thing was the atmosphere, super calm, you could hear the birds, the weather was beautiful, frankly incredible.

06/08/2026: Excellent wine cellar, insightful selections. I don't know much about grape varieties, but I've always received compliments on my choices, guided by the owner. He's a true enthusiast, and his food is as good as his wines (and his rums and Calvados...). The price range allows you to splurge or enjoy excellent value wines for a regular meal. The icing on the cake is that he's open quite late, until 8 pm... Oh, yes, I almost forgot his cheeses and terrines... I highly recommend it.
