The place is lively, the clientele friendly, the regulars welcoming. You feel right at home. My favorite neighborhood bar, I come back every time. 🍺

09/10/2026: The menu and suggestions are very tempting and original. The decor is cozy, with soft and warm tones. We had the trout tartare with citrus and the pan-seared foie gras as starters. Followed by the andouillette sausage and the PJJ gratin...yum! Excellent! 🤪 Just one small complaint about the side dishes. We'll gladly come back 😊

02/10/2026: Honestly, it's better not to see the state of the kitchen. If I'd seen it beforehand, I wouldn't have even set foot in the place. The food is all drenched in oil. The cutlery is dirty. This place should only be used for drinking coffee, and even then, only if the cup is clean. In short, I absolutely do not recommend it.

28/09/2026: Takeout order. Easy ordering on the Sakura website. When I arrived, the order was ready. The quality is always excellent... it's a sure thing. The most complicated part of the experience was parking... but that's beyond the restaurant's control.

03/08/2026: I ordered tasteless miso soup and overcooked salmon. I was sick all night. Even the avocado was bland. Avoid this restaurant.

04/08/2026: The menu is very appealing, with fresh food prepared on-site. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with my visit on August 4th around 8 pm because management left one employee to handle the evening orders alone, which were very numerous. The wait was far too long and it was disheartening to see. Around 8:30 pm, the employee informed us all that she was no longer taking orders on-site because they were about to close. As indicated on the posted hours and on your website, closing time is 10:30 pm, not 9 pm. Shameful.

11/10/2026: Sweet bakery making the very best baked goods. I stopped in every morning to pick up croissants for breakfast on a recent week-long visit visit to Paris. They were kind, even when my French was less-than-helpful.

01/10/2026: I loved their baguette, croissants, and pain au chocolat. Plus, the staff are incredibly friendly to foreigners who don't speak French. It's an excellent place to enjoy traditional French bread!

18/08/2026: I ordered spaghetti with pesto sauce and minced meat, but I received a dish without pesto, just a basic cream sauce, whereas it should have had basil, garlic, and Parmesan cheese as advertised on the menu. I noticed a small frozen herb ball on the pasta, tasted it, and to my surprise, it was parsley. I pointed this out to the waitress, who insisted it was pesto sauce. I was just passing through Carignan, and being from Provence, I make my own pesto sauce, so I know what I'm talking about. In short, I didn't appreciate the waitress treating me like I was completely clueless.
