21/07/2026: The mussels marinière were okay, but not a generous portion for nearly €18. The piece of meat was good, but the Roquefort sauce was runny and not enough. A glass of Sancerre cost €6.90 and was NOT good at all! In short, two dishes, a beer, a Coke, and a wine came to €56.90 because of an error on the bill—an extra drink not ordered. Not bad, but overpriced. That's probably the place; we won't go back. The service was friendly, and the waiter was nice.

12/07/2026: We had an amazing experience at Le Bouchon Tourangeau in Tours. Before coming, we saw some negative Google reviews, but our experience was completely different — this place was wonderful! The atmosphere truly brought us back to the spirit of a classical bouchon-style restaurant: warm, authentic, and full of character. The menu offers great choices of entrée, plat, and dessert, with traditional flavors done very well. We started with the escargots, which were served hot, beautifully fragrant, and absolutely delicious. The beef bourguignon was the highlight — the beef was incredibly tender, and the sauce was rich, comforting, and full of flavor. The steak with frites was also excellent. We enjoyed a nice selection of wine that paired perfectly with the meal. The staff were kind and attentive. They may not be the most expressive with smiles, but their service was efficient and thoughtful — we never had to wait, and every staff member made sure we were well taken care of. A great place to enjoy authentic bouchon-style cuisine in Tours. We highly recommend Le Bouchon Tourangeau and would happily come back again!

07/06/2026: I have doubts about cleanliness, judging by the state of the toilets and kitchen. The food was bland, and the fish and shellfish were undercooked. The staff was very pleasant, and the location is lovely, but that's not enough...

28/05/2026: The two daily specials, seafood parillada and royal mussels, were excellent and very generous! Very fresh, impeccable service.

02/08/2026: It took 10 minutes to get a seat even though the terrace was empty. Once we were seated, no one acknowledged us or came to take our order! Go somewhere else, the staff are unpleasant.

30/07/2026: Beautiful spot, but... We were seated at a table meant for two, even though there were three of us: my elderly mother and my disabled sister who uses a crutch. My mother ordered mussels for €22. Almost half of them were closed, so they were inedible! I had to break them open with the pepper mill because my mother didn't want to waste any... It was pathetic! As a result, we were the last to leave because of how long it took. We pointed this out, and when it came time to pay (a rather hefty bill), there wasn't even an apology or a gesture of goodwill. I will never go back!

03/05/2026: I had lunch at this restaurant with my wife and our newborn daughter in a stroller. The welcome was warm and attentive from the start, making us feel completely at ease (and this is very important for us Italians). I was perplexed by some negative reviews, which spoke of poor food and rude staff. My experience was quite the opposite: the owner was extremely kind and helpful, and the staff was friendly and attentive, even addressing our situation with our baby. The food was truly excellent, with well-executed typical French dishes (I particularly recommend the côte de boeuf for two, truly excellent, and the profiterole, which is absolutely worth it; the house wine was also quite good). The value for money is in line with the average for Parisian restaurants, so no surprises here either. Honestly, I have the feeling that many of the negative reviews are dated and perhaps refer to a previous staff. For this reason, I believe it's important not to dwell on past opinions: this restaurant deserves to be tried today.

10/06/2026: The homemade double-patty burger. The two patties together are no more than 1 cm thick. Very disappointed with the quality of the meat. To me, it's just a cheap, discarded dairy cow patty. What a shame.

18/06/2026: First and last experience. Slow service with few customers. I ordered a plate of cuttlefish (see plate) swimming in oil. We had time to examine the interior, and frankly, there was dust and cobwebs on the baseboards and banquettes, plus numerous marks on the toilet door, which was left open the entire time (which I find really unacceptable). I think there's a lot of room for improvement. And to top it all off, a restaurant that doesn't accept restaurant vouchers?! 🙄😬

03/06/2026: The Bouillon bar only had one waiter on a Saturday night, and he was anything but welcoming. Although the dining room was nearly empty, he exuded a lack of enthusiasm for his work. I advise against sitting at the bar if the Bouillon next door is full. I recommend booking the Bouillon dining room well in advance to ensure you get a table and avoid being relegated to the bar next door.

27/05/2026: It was like an experience, every dish. Super delicious, beautifully presented by a friendly gentleman who always kept an eye on us and was always there as if we needed him. Top-notch service!

09/04/2026: Fantastic resort! I stayed at the hotel this week. The rooms are very clean, and I also had the chance to try the restaurant. The food was delicious and plentiful, with very pleasant service from two young people who took excellent care of me and my partner. Afterwards, I went for a drink at the pub, which was simply magnificent, with beautiful decor and excellent cocktails. I highly recommend it!

01/08/2026: We arrived as a family of four with a 3-month-old baby in a bassinet and a large stroller, and received a wonderful welcome. They even set up a special area for us to park our stroller. The staff were incredibly friendly and smiling, telling us that children are treated like royalty here. Thank you for this lovely experience! Your staff is very friendly and professional, which isn't always the case in St. Malo.

01/08/2026: This crêperie was a very pleasant surprise! With its prime location at the entrance to the walled city of Saint-Malo, we were able to enjoy delicious savory buckwheat crêpes, both classic and modern versions (like the Duchesse Burger). The sweet crêpes were also excellent. The service was impeccable and quick. I highly recommend it.

23/05/2026: Staff change with employees who don't smile at everyone. The sushi platter yesterday was a mess, like it had been thrown on the tray. Cleanliness left much to be desired; there were marks on the floor as if it had been cleaned with a dirty mop. The dessert selection was limited.

22/05/2026: Since the change of ownership, the quality of the food has been mediocre... either overheated, therefore dry and tasteless, or reheated from lunchtime... the sushi had a strange taste and color... in short, we won't be going back... we've lost a good place to eat.

09/05/2026: Very good. Very friendly. Charming landlady. Nice spot by the river with large terrace and water feature in the afternoon sun. They do decent food at lunchtime and excellent ice creams including alcoholic ones. Highly recommended.
