27/05/2026: I came to eat last Sunday. It was the first time I'd ever eaten alone in a restaurant, and I have a very bad memory of it. I ordered the two-smoked salad with duck breast and smoked trout: a huge disappointment. I started eating and discovered about ten bugs in the salad; it's unacceptable. I told them, and they apologized by bringing me a second salad. I decided to check the salad just in case, and I discovered that it was also infested with bugs! I've included photos as proof (the black spots on the salad). It's completely unacceptable; I don't even want to imagine the hygiene in the kitchen. I didn't even dare order another course. They brought me a glass of champagne as an apology, and I even paid for the single scoop of ice cream that served as my meal. It's shameful!

22/05/2026: The setting is lovely for a pleasant break. However, we had an unpleasant experience with the waiter who brought our order back with a bloody finger – not very professional. There was a drop of blood on the table, as well as on our glasses and ice cream. Not very professional at all.

12/07/2026: I don't recommend it. The welcome was polite, but bordering on unpleasant. There was no menu for the bar, so you don't know what you can drink or how much it will cost. The service was really mediocre, and the attitude was unprofessional. I won't be back.

29/06/2026: Horrible. Warm welcome. We were with our dog and they seated us on the terrace, at narrow tables that were very hot. There were empty tables inside the restaurant and on a lovely, cool interior terrace. I asked to change tables, and they told me that the tables on the interior terrace were for four. A little while later, a couple arrived with a dog and went inside the restaurant. We felt completely discriminated against. Twenty minutes had passed, and we were very lucky that they hadn't asked us to come yet, so we left. Thankfully, because that allowed us to go to a restaurant in the first village we found that wasn't touristy at all. They treated us and our dog very kindly, and we had a wonderful meal.

26/07/2026: The fries were very good, it's a shame they didn't ask us if we wanted them or not, in case we forgot to specify.

02/08/2026: The service at the drive-thru was perfect, polite, etc., but what about the rest? €40 for three meals? When did we agree to pay that price? At least fill the container with the fries we paid for. And let's talk about the double cheeseburger: barely lukewarm, wrinkled, and prepared by someone who clearly didn't care. The vanilla milkshake was so sweet I couldn't finish it, and its texture was more like milk than a milkshake. The only positive thing was the nuggets. After the disappointment of the McDonald's at the Montreuil town hall, the McDonald's at the golf course was another disappointment. Honestly, please make an effort, because there's no shortage of competition.

02/08/2026: It was okay four years ago, but I went there last night, Saturday, and it was a complete mess. The wait was unbelievable, there weren't enough staff to serve, clean the tables, or empty the trash. This McDonald's is headed for closure.

20/02/2026: Lunch today at La Porte Haute in Sarre-Union, and frankly, a very good experience. Generous and high-quality cuisine: perfectly cooked escalope in cream sauce, golden fries, a delicious dessert with ice cream and whipped cream, and a good coffee to finish. A special mention also goes to the simple but satisfying starter. Pleasant, quick, and professional service. A friendly atmosphere; you feel right at home. A reliable spot in Sarre-Union; I'll definitely be back.

31/05/2026: The blue-eyed gentleman at reception was very rude and spoke to me disrespectfully. I went into the lounge and asked for a cake on the day of PSG's victory. He then started shouting and insulting me. He made shocking and discriminatory remarks, particularly towards Arabs. I was very surprised and shocked by his behavior.

My feedback is constructive because it highlights a flaw: a customer, even if they aren't making a purchase at that moment, should be treated like everyone else. This is a fundamental business principle. Rather than denying the obvious quality of your products and your customer service. ***************************** I feel compelled to give very negative feedback about this business, as I've been a customer for a long time. I urgently needed to use the restroom, and despite my insistence, I was refused permission to use it. I find this a ridiculous lack of solidarity, especially since I specified that I'm a long-time customer. Therefore, I feel compelled to provide a full and objective review of this shop's products, which are quite mediocre. The quiches are extremely sparsely filled, the cookies aren't the best in the neighborhood, and the reason I came was simply the absence of a queue. Finally, the prices are outrageous considering the quantity and quality. I think it's reasonable to say that if such behavior occurs, it's probably due to toxic management that employees are forced to endure.

07/08/2026: Fantastic campsite! The staff are very friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The setting is beautiful and very well maintained. The mobile homes are clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere is peaceful, perfect for relaxing. The food on site is also very good. I highly recommend it!

04/08/2026: A very warm welcome, both in person and during my phone call. The pitch was very clean and pleasant. A charming little campsite with an immaculate pool area. The sun loungers are very comfortable, and the decor is very tasteful. As for the sanitary facilities, nothing to complain about: they are clean, functional, and well-maintained. We had an excellent night there during our road trip. A wonderful discovery that I highly recommend!

25/07/2026: Having eaten out regularly, this is the first time I've ever left more than half my meal. I ordered chicken pad thai, but some of the noodles were completely dry, as if the dish had been left out in the open for a while. The grilled meat had several pieces of fat on it. When we pointed this out, the waiter simply replied, "Don't worry," before bringing two more pieces of meat that were practically the same size. The Black Angus burger didn't impress us at all, the fries were served in very small quantities (only about ten), and the salmon pizza was very ordinary. The staff is pleasant and polite, which is the only positive point. However, the quality of the ingredients and the dishes is truly disappointing. Honestly, I could have cooked a better meal at home. An experience I won't be repeating. And let's not even mention the sewer smell on the terrace.

11/07/2026: We ate lunch at the food bar today; the dishes were beautifully presented and very tasty. The staff were very pleasant and smiling, and the decor created a lovely atmosphere.

05/08/2026: I only got a croissant and a pain au chocolat and both were absolutely terrible, the worst I had in three weeks on vacation in France, pale and the butter had a weird taste, hopefully it was edible and did not went bad…. 0/5 Stars, go to the next boulangerie…
