26/04/2026: We had a wonderful lunch on the terrace. The dishes were generous and flavorful, just the way we like them. The service was perfectly timed. What's more, a singer (not from the restaurant) came to make the moment even better—how lucky! The only surprising downside was the lack of tea that day, which was a real shame, but we'll be back.

17/05/2026: I used to go to this kebab shop every lunchtime in high school. I returned 10 years later with a real sense of nostalgia and high expectations. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. My kebab was served at 11:50 p.m., and I was immediately told I had 10 minutes to eat before closing time. If eating in is no longer possible at that hour, it would make sense not to offer it. At midnight sharp, I was asked twice to leave. I pointed out the situation to the manager, without getting the slightest response. Zero sense of service, zero sense of business. A real disappointment for a place that held a special place in my memories.

09/05/2026: A simple, good kebab, not the most delicious in the world, but personally, it's where I go when I want a kebab. So I would recommend it.

21/07/2026: Every time I order by phone, they give me a time, and when I arrive, I still have to wait 20-25 minutes! This is the fourth time in a row! No joke! I order, they tell me 8:50 PM, I arrive, and they give me my sandwiches at 9:20 PM. It's always the same. Guys, get organized, give us the right time. We'd rather wait at home than be crammed together waiting for our orders.

23/07/2026: An excellent place to discover authentic Persian cuisine. I tried the Joojeh Kebab with Albaloo Polo, a sour cherry rice dish. The combination might seem surprising at first, but it was truly delicious. The sour cherry rice was excellent, with a beautiful balance of sweet and tangy flavors, and paired perfectly with the grilled chicken. The only minor point for improvement would be the amount of meat on the chicken, which could have been a bit more generous. Overall, it was an original and very enjoyable dish, which I highly recommend to anyone wanting to discover this traditional Persian specialty.

20/07/2026: I had an eggplant khaviar as a starter, absolutely delicious! And for my main course, a marinated chicken skewer with saffron rice, succulent! Very pleasant service!

24/05/2026: My partner and I stumbled upon this bar-restaurant at a flea market in Pont-de-l’Arche and were pleasantly surprised. The welcome was excellent, and the warm, characterful oriental decor gives the establishment a lot of charm. The frescoes and the overall ambiance create a truly exotic atmosphere. We enjoyed homemade couscous with perfectly cooked merguez sausages: a real treat. As a big fan of oriental desserts, I particularly enjoyed the baklava, remarkable for its delicate texture, crispness, and balanced flavors. These pastries are undoubtedly among the best in the region.

17/05/2026: I've never seen anything like it in my life... After some rather good fried appetizers. You call this beef stir-fried noodles? Bland, instant soup noodles. Dry, bleached pieces of beef, tasteless, without sauce, without flavor, like they'd been boiled in plain water. When I asked the waitress, "Excuse me, there's no sauce?" she replied, "You can make your own soy sauce. We don't use it, it dries out the meat..." I mean, seriously? Chicken stir-fried noodles? The same thing, only worse. The chicken was tiny pieces of dry, white, tasteless chicken breast. I was so shocked I didn't even know how to tell the manager, who is otherwise a kind and welcoming person. It's shameful and shocking for the price you charge. I've never had an experience like this. I suggest you review your recipes and your chef. I make food 10 times better at home. I don't understand it; this restaurant has been around for 20 years, and I've enjoyed it in the past, but this is just not possible.

06/06/2026: I've been going to La Cagnotte for a while now, and every time the welcome has been incredible. Whether it's the super-smiling and very pleasant young women on weekends, or the very professional and helpful evening staff, especially the young man who's currently blond. It's a place where I know I'll have a good time. Regarding prices, there's a bit of everything, but it's all very reasonable. A special mention for the Belleville beers, excellent and brewed right next door… not to mention the cheese and charcuterie boards, fresh and high-quality products… sourced from local businesses, zero carbon footprint. I highly recommend it. Thank you 🙏

16/07/2026: What a disappointment… After a doctor's appointment late in the morning, we were simply looking for a good pastry and some bread for lunch. Given the location of this bakery, between Rue de Friedland and Faubourg Saint-Honoré, we naturally expected quality befitting the neighborhood. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The croissant and the pain au chocolat were far from what one expects from a French pastry. The lamination was practically nonexistent: the crumb was more like bread than a true butter croissant. The outer layers, instead of being light, crisp, and melt-in-your-mouth, were hard, almost brittle, with a texture more reminiscent of a thin sheet of plastic than the delicate crispness of good puff pastry. The chocolate wasn't any better: its flavor lacked subtlety and bore no resemblance to the quality dark chocolate one usually finds in a good pastry. We also tried a creation combining a croissant and a cookie. Unfortunately, it possessed neither the qualities of a croissant nor those of a cookie: a bland, tasteless dough that failed to impress in either category. The bread, too, disappointed us. The crumb was surprisingly dense and elastic, difficult to chew, and far from the lightness, openness, and crispness one expects from a good French loaf. Finally, the pistachio and chocolate chip pastry was equally frustrating. The pistachio was practically nonexistent despite its name, while the chocolate chips were plentiful but of disappointing quality, with an unpleasant flavor. This is all the more regrettable given the exceptional location, which naturally raises expectations. We had hoped to discover a bakery worthy of this prestigious neighborhood; unfortunately, we left with a profound sense of disappointment.
