20/06/2026: I just ordered through Deliveroo; we got the Genovese pizza. I have a really hard time finding good pizza like the kind you find in Italy. But this one was so good, so flavorful, and the portion size is incredibly filling. Plus, it arrived piping hot and very quickly. I'm incredibly surprised. It's the first time I've ordered from here, and it certainly won't be the last! I have no hesitation in saying that it's probably the best pizza I've had in Paris, contrary to some other online reviews. Thank you again!!! My stomach is very happy 🙏🏼🙏🏼

07/06/2026: Tested on May 29th after spending a good half hour browsing the reviews and prices, which seemed reasonable. The welcome from the young woman with red hair was appalling; she kept giving my partner dirty looks while we waited for our order. As luck would have it, my partner's burger, which was supposed to be well-done, arrived raw (straight to the bin), and to top it off, she suddenly sneezed near the burger before it was wrapped (strange, to say the least). First time I've ever been asked how I wanted lamb cooked. The set menus weren't available; everyone had to pay full price. My burger was dripping wet, and the cheddar was way too salty. In short, some of the staff, besides being less than competent (I won't even mention the other unpleasant experiences), are clearly malicious. Best of luck.

05/08/2026: The service is so unpleasant that we haven't been there for a long time. I read the reviews and I realize it's still the same. When is someone going to put their foot down?!

04/08/2026: The food was good and the setting is very nice, but the service (from a thin, older waiter with a mustache) was terrible. He treated us badly because we were tourists. He was impatient, angry, rude to a small child, and served us after the locals. Sadly, we strongly advise against this restaurant.

22/07/2026: We are very disappointed. A little over three weeks ago, we wanted to order kebabs. There were several of us, so we called the night before (Thursday evening) to reserve and be prepared. The man on the phone told us there was no problem, but that we should call back the next day at noon because he couldn't take the order then and it wouldn't be registered (strange). We asked again if it would be a problem since it was a large order, and he assured us it would be fine. So we called back the next day (Friday at noon), but it just rang and rang. We tried several times: it rang continuously each time. We decided to check if they were still open on Google, and to our great surprise, the opening hours (which we had checked the day before and that morning) had changed. It said "Currently closed - opens at 6 PM," when they were supposed to be open from 11 AM to 2 PM and from 6 PM to 10 PM. Disappointed, we decided to try calling again at 6 PM. Same scenario: continuous ringing each time (we tried from different phones and at different times) and the hours had just been changed again on Google. The kebab shop was now closed all evening. Some of our friends walked by and saw that the lights were on. This only confirmed our disappointment. We won't be going back.

14/07/2026: Unprofessional. We had people who wanted to eat kebab. We called the day before to ask if they were open tonight. We were told yes. We've been calling for 30 minutes and no one is answering. Absolutely unprofessional.

22/09/2025: Looking for a place to eat on a Sunday evening, we weren't disappointed. Everything was delicious, from the pizzas to the sushi and the bo bun. A place to remember! 👍

26/06/2026: Delivery order for €48: one kebab and two merguez burgers. Unfortunately, a huge disappointment. The fries were soggy, there was only one merguez sausage, and the bread was undercooked, to the point of sticking to the roof of my mouth. For the price paid, I expected much better quality. I do not recommend this experience.

21/06/2026: A great place! The kebab is delicious, generously filled, and prepared with care. The fries are crispy and the sauces are excellent. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is pleasant. I'll gladly go back.

19/06/2026: A small Vietnamese eatery in the chic 8th arrondissement. I was a little disappointed by the pho I ordered. It wasn't very filling, and an order error meant I didn't get the raw beef I like to see simmer in the broth. They gave me cooked beef instead. Not bad in itself, but the garnish and side dishes were lacking. No onions, very few herbs...

25/05/2026: A beautiful, bucolic spot spoiled by overcrowding, especially considering the limited outdoor space. It felt cramped, making it difficult to find a quiet corner. To make matters worse, we had to contend with a wedding and about fifty guests, adding to the already crowded atmosphere. Dinner was decent, but the pre-packaged breakfast was rather meager considering its high price. Potential, but poorly utilized. A shame!

24/05/2026: We were more than disappointed! We booked a night at this 4-star Manor House through the Staycation app, which seemed perfect for €153 per night: - Room with balcony - Swimming pool - Access to the tennis court + 20 minutes in the sauna - Complimentary glass of Prosecco. We had to change our reservation date (which was confirmed by the Manor House, the app, by phone, and by email). When we arrived at reception, we were shocked to discover that the reservation "hadn't been entered into the system." The hostess told us we didn't have a room. She eventually found one, but we realized we had been downgraded to a standard room without a balcony. The hostess explained that we would be refunded €20 for this misunderstanding. This is something that can sometimes happen, but I want to remind everyone that this is a 4-star hotel with a certain standard to uphold. Upon arriving in our room, it was a disaster: - Rotten woodwork - Dirty and worn toilet bowls - Damp patches on the walls - Poorly applied paint job - Peeling wallpaper - Rusty sink drain - Dust on the light fixtures… We decided to enjoy the pool, still disappointed by our first hour there. Upon arriving at the pool, we found it to be well-maintained, despite its small size for a place with 85 rooms, not to mention the meager 10 sun loungers (unworthy of a 4-star hotel) which were clearly insufficient for the number of guests. Most people were leaving their towels and belongings on the ground. We decided to leave without even having eaten or slept there. We submitted a refund request to the app and are still waiting for a response. We're also waiting for the supposed €20 refund 🤷‍♀️ To be perfectly honest, I find it pathetic to charge such a high price (even with a Staycation discount) for an experience like this. This manor house may boast about having 4 stars, but it absolutely doesn't deserve them. Having stayed in numerous hotels throughout France, we've seen 2-star hotels that were far better than this one. I've never in my life had problems like this with a booking, let alone been downgraded or given such a dilapidated room. I have no complaints about the quality of the service, which was adequate despite all these issues. If I had to give you advice: find a nearby manor house or hotel that will be the same price or cheaper, but will undoubtedly be much better than this place.

15/04/2026: On a very pleasant pedestrian street, I stopped at this brasserie. I can't judge the food, having only had a pint of Grimbergen—which cost €11.60, still quite expensive, even considering the location. However, the experience on the terrace was particularly disappointing. First, I asked a waiter if he could take my order. He simply replied, "It'll be here," without any further explanation. I then realized it wasn't "his" table. A waitress then arrived. I ordered a beer and asked for a carafe of water. She returned with a single glass of water, explaining that since I wasn't ordering anything, I wasn't entitled to a carafe. Surprised, I asked for another glass, and finally she agreed to bring me a carafe. A few minutes later, the first waiter returned… to take away my half-full carafe of water, telling me in a passive-aggressive tone, “If you don’t eat, you’re not entitled to a carafe of water.” I was genuinely shocked by this attitude, which made me feel like I was being treated like a child. In fact, some older customers near me were also taken aback by the scene. A very unpleasant customer experience, which contrasts sharply with the otherwise pleasant setting.

11/04/2026: The unfriendly waiters spoiled the quality of service. The waiter in the dining room openly complained to the customers, and the bartender made snide remarks when we made the mistake of trying to pay at the bar. Given the number of bars nearby, I recommend going elsewhere.

21/03/2026: Simple but good food. A bit pricey, but the view makes you forget that. Unpleasant smell in the corner of the terrace.

12/03/2026: I can't understand the negative reviews of this restaurant; the service is quick and the food is good. Having tried both restaurants at altitude in La Toussuire, this one is far better than the Carlines self-service restaurant.

03/08/2026: I have never been served so badly in my entire life… dirty trays, unpleasant and mean staff… I was given the wrong drinks + really disgusting trays… and the food is cold and awful.

03/08/2026: The quality of this McDonald's is appalling. As a former crew member at McDonald's, I know exactly what I'm talking about. Three attempts and they still can't make a simple Big Tasty without lettuce. First sandwich: stale bread, hard as a rock. Second: still inedible, with pork (which I don't eat), and missing ingredients. Third: they add lettuce anyway, and to top it all off, the sandwich is made with a CBO bun, much smaller than a Big Tasty bun. At this point, it's not just a mistake, it's incompetence. The most shocking thing is the staff's attitude: not a single apology worth mentioning, a manager with astonishing passivity, and employees who laughed after my complaint as if they found the situation amusing. Respect for the customer seems to be a completely foreign concept here. As for the state of the restaurant, the trash cans are so overflowing that customers are leaving their trays on the tables. If McDonald's France management reads this review, it might be time to investigate what's going on at this restaurant, because there's clearly a serious management problem.

25/07/2026: The taste of some of the pastries was really strange. For example, the walnut one was extremely dry. As for the coffee, it tasted like it had been mixed with road dust. I don't think I'll be back. 💋

17/07/2026: This is where you'll find the best baguettes, pain au chocolat, filled baguettes, pastries, and more. It's no wonder people sometimes queue up all the way out onto the street. The wait times are reasonable, though, and the staff is always friendly and helpful despite the large number of customers! If you have any questions, they'll even help you in English. The prices are absolutely fair.

07/08/2026: Hello, what can I say… Our drinks were brought by the glass, and this one was flat. The aperitif was served at the same time as the starters. Two measly croquettes for a fortune; I doubt they were homemade, as the restaurant claims. The mussels were only half-served, and the portion of fries was enough for a child—perhaps due to poor stock management. I'm still looking for the Maroilles sauce; it was very runny and translucent, with no seasoning in our mussels—a real shame. A slice of lasagna cost €20, and it was a very small portion. The only positive point about the meal was the dessert, but it's hard to go wrong with something that just needs reheating. We didn't have cutlery at the table, and we're still waiting for it. After paying the bill, there was absolutely no sign of politeness.
