02/09/2026: It was our first time at this establishment. We hadn't made a reservation, but they managed to find us a table. We had a very good meal. Our thanks to the waitress who looked after us, Laurence, with her cheerful disposition. A minor drawback was the limescale stains on the glasses and water carafe. Otherwise, I recommend this establishment.

14/10/2026: Hello, we came to your place really excited to spend some time with the cats, but honestly, I have cats at home and we had to leave without buying anything because the very strong ammonia smell was just unbearable. It's such a shame, the place looks great, but it was impossible to breathe. There are some great plant-based cat litters that absorb odors, but that wasn't an option. It was 4 pm and we really wanted to have a good time, but we left after barely two minutes once we got in.

10/10/2026: The welcome was icy, the staff cold. Above all, we were concerned about animal welfare: the cats were exhibiting abnormal behavior, moving slowly, not responding to things that would normally stimulate them, some were even aggressive (probably overstimulated?), and all were exhausted. The rabbit was also exhausted, sinking to the bottom of its cage and trying to hide. If you love cats, don't come. We finished our drinks and left as soon as possible; it was too heartbreaking to see them in such a state.

30/09/2026: Sorry, but this greedy guy is incredibly rude. He only has eyes for the customers who are walking in, and there's a 10-minute wait at the bar to pay the bill. Typical Metro food!

26/09/2026: The welcome, the new decor, and the service (one small drawback: my starter was served before I'd finished my aperitif) were all excellent. As for the menu: the poke bowl was too heavy for a starter, and the classic steak tartare was just so-so. However, the ice cream and the selection of flavors were fantastic.

01/10/2026: Welcome to Le Maranello, Brasserie, Pizzeria, Ice Cream Parlor, We ate superb pizzas 🍕 with a thin, delicious crust, and each drank a Verigoud Cola. I kind of like it, but not much more; I still prefer Pepsi 🥤. Thank you for your warm welcome. Regards

25/09/2026: My grandmother needed a more comfortable chair for her back and her age. The trainee waitress was ready to give her one, but it was ultimately refused by someone who seemed to be the owner or a waitress, I'm not exactly sure, with the comment: "We're not going to move the whole place, are we?" As if the restaurant was full and they were asking us to move the entire dining room... So we were offered a table inside, but it was a beautiful and rather warm day, so obviously, we weren't going to hunker down inside when we could be enjoying the outdoors. Another point: a €3 surcharge for a pizza shared between two people. Yes, it was indicated, so there were no surprises about the price, but €3 just because two people are eating the same pizza is starting to make it seem expensive. And the owner/waitress's little remark: "It's becoming more and more common, isn't it?" "Perhaps, but it's precisely these kinds of practices that gradually diminish a restaurant's charm. Just because others do it doesn't mean you have to follow suit. To be clear, the food was very good, no complaints there, and the rest of the staff was friendly. It's just a shame that one person, through their lack of tact and business sense, could leave such a bad impression. A little more empathy towards the elderly and a few less inappropriate remarks, and the experience would have been much better. Recommended for the food... provided the person in question was in the right frame of mind that day. 😅"

06/08/2026: Great restaurant, we ate well, except the owners are unpleasant, always criticizing their employees. I understand why the waitresses don't stay.

We ordered oysters, shrimp, entrecôte, carpaccio, tuna, and burgers, among other things – everything was delicious and everyone enjoyed it. Overall, a very pleasant visit that we would highly recommend. Thank you!

15/05/2026: An excellent experience at Brasserie Le France! We opted for the set menu and were not disappointed: the portions were very generous and you could immediately tell it was homemade and truly cooked. The value for money was excellent. In addition, the service was very good, with an efficient and welcoming team. A reliable address in Narbonne, I highly recommend it!

10/09/2026: They were better 3 or 4 years ago. Today the kebab meat is full of fat, with chunks of meat. The staff are friendly, but the kebab needs improvement, even though it's homemade.

06/04/2026: The welcome was, how shall I say, unlike anything I've ever experienced at this inn. The owner and his wife seem tired and worn down by pilgrims who are too... well, pilgrims whose owners give bad advice, claiming he enjoys instilling fear in them. Perhaps after 28 years of loyal service, it's time to move on and avoid appearing... incompetent to the clientele other than the locals who enjoy having drinks at lunchtime and in the evening with the owners. In short, two people probably unhappy because of their clientele... but who persevere and do their best to satisfy them.
