14/03/2026: A few years ago, while traveling from Alsace to the Landes region, I booked a room at "La Coloniale" bed and breakfast. I arrived around 5 p.m. on a Sunday evening in mid-October. The weather was rainy, dark, and gloomy, and there was no one at reception. I called the mobile number I had and reached someone who I was clearly bothering. The gentleman was invited to a friend's house for drinks. Barely polite, he questioned my reservation date. He did, however, explain how to access a room (Prune) which wasn't the one I had booked (Perle). There was no one to suggest a restaurant for dinner, so no dinner. The next morning, still no host, I dealt with a housekeeper, who was quite pleasant, for breakfast and to settle the bill for my stay. Conclusion: disappointed by this reception which lacked the most basic respect, this is not an address I recommend.

12/08/2026: Open in the afternoon in the middle of August. Friendly staff, good meat.

23/06/2026: The owner is incredibly kind. I wanted to try it with my own baguette, but my wife and I didn't have enough, and he kindly reduced the price. The meat is very good; go there without hesitation.

09/09/2026: Bills Burger, what a treat! The smashes are good and the fries even better! The atmosphere is very chill and the staff??? EVERYTHING is excellent 👌🏽

30/08/2026: A very warm welcome from Junior, a smiling and kind person who makes you want to come back. Excellent service and very good food.

27/06/2026: Came to the restaurant for lunch today. No air conditioning. Couscous with overcooked lamb. Very disappointed. I suspect a change of ownership, and the current management isn't up to scratch.

12/06/2026: Excellent couscous. An extraordinary mint tea. The staff are friendly and pleasant.

03/10/2026: Excellent service! We were only there for a few drinks and even received a complimentary aperitif. The atmosphere by the sea was simply wonderful!

05/10/2026: As a loyal customer for over 10 years, visiting 2 or 3 times a month for several meals, I am truly disappointed to see the quality and service decline over time. On our last visit, we were charged €5 simply for taking away two spring rolls, one sushi, and two tempura… which we couldn't finish. I understand the rules of an all-you-can-eat restaurant, but after more than 10 years of loyalty, I found this lack of consideration particularly regrettable. It's not about the €5, but about principle and respect for the customer. It's a shame to see a restaurant we enjoyed decline in service quality like this. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

06/09/2026: Hello everyone, I went to this establishment and received a very warm welcome. The staff is friendly, pleasant, and professional. The service is efficient and quick, with excellent advice. They also have a wide selection of products. A great atmosphere that makes you want to come back! I particularly recommend this place to couples for a romantic dinner, especially on beautiful summer days. ☀️❤️

05/10/2026: It was an interesting and pleasant first experience with the traditional lyonnaise meal. It was good food wise and a good experience. I have definitely gotten used to the slower service in France and have come to appreciate the space between courses. Unfortunately, here this was not the case and I felt we had barely finished our starter before our main came. We had to ask for space between the main and dessert. Perhaps the spacing between courses is not the norm here? Anyways, all in all it was nice.

05/10/2026: A tourist trap to avoid! Appalling service and mediocre food. The chocolate mousse and praline tart were inedible.

28/09/2026: First visit. Fried carp and pepper steak. Excellent and generous portions. Friendly and welcoming staff. Very reasonable prices. Highly recommended. We'll be back.

09/08/2026: A wonderful discovery! We had a fantastic time at Le Capri restaurant. The food was truly excellent, the dishes were flavorful and generous, bursting with taste. 😋 The service was also very pleasant, friendly, and attentive, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The atmosphere is lovely and welcoming, perfect for spending quality time with family, friends, or as a couple. I highly recommend this place! We will definitely be back. Thank you to the entire team at Le Capri for this wonderful experience! 👏✨

10/11/2025: Very disappointed, a disaster. The meat was dry, very little meat, and there was a lot of salad. It tasted like reheated food. What a shame.

03/11/2025: We had a very good experience at this restaurant where the service was impeccable and the food excellent and beautifully presented. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Perhaps just one small point for improvement: the ambiance could benefit from softer lighting and some oriental music to create a truly immersive experience.
