18/07/2026: To begin with, right from the aperitif, we were asked to choose our dessert and coffees, under the pretext that the place was too crowded, even though there were only about twenty people in the room. Then, the dishes were very greasy, and the atmosphere was neither inviting nor did it convey a sense of calm or conviviality. I find this truly disappointing, as this establishment could offer a much better experience. In my opinion, improvements are needed, both in terms of organization and the food.

17/07/2026: A very disappointing experience from start to finish. The welcome was lukewarm, with staff who didn't seem genuinely happy to receive their customers. The drinks were subpar: uninteresting beers and poorly executed cocktails. As for the food, the meat was extremely tough and difficult to chew, while the cheese was very disappointing. Considering the quality of the food and service, the value for money is clearly poor. The most regrettable aspect was witnessing an altercation in the kitchen. This kind of scene severely detracts from the experience and gives an unprofessional impression of the establishment. The setting is magnificent, however, which is the only real positive point. Unfortunately, this isn't enough to make up for everything else. We won't be returning and certainly don't recommend this establishment.

28/06/2026: A big fan of Bonchon when I lived in the Parisian suburbs, I was passing through Paris and wanted to go back. I saw that it wasn't the same restaurant anymore, but I decided to give it a try. Despite impeccable service and a very clean restaurant, the quality of the food has plummeted. The chicken at Bonchon was juicy and well-seasoned, and they offered several marinades, all worth trying. I always ordered rice on the side; it was freshly prepared and very good. The only minor criticism I had was that the meat itself sometimes seemed a bit bland, and the flavor was almost entirely in the frying on some of my visits (after trying this new location, I've changed my tune...). It was still a treat. What can I say now... no more choice of marinades. Only one sauce is offered, which is good, but nothing special. The meat was really dry and tasteless. The pieces were really big, so I ended up chewing chunks of meat without any sauce, which really highlighted the lack of flavor. The bowl of rice was a completely dry block, to the point that I couldn't even finish it—a first for me. Obviously, it wasn't actually terrible, and I think the quantity/price ratio was quite reasonable, but it came at the expense of quality, and I therefore believe that Bonchon's prices were much better. A huge disappointment. Why replace such a good restaurant with something completely different? I don't think I'll be back to try the new menu.

20/04/2026: I wanted to go there for dinner, but when I arrived and saw the state of the storefront, well, we turned around and left. The windows are filthy, covered in streaks. You have to wonder if the storefront is as dirty as the kitchens are.

10/04/2026: Excellent tacos, burgers, and bowls. The chef is incredibly welcoming and friendly, and there's hardly any wait. The dining area is also quite spacious, easily accommodating large groups. Prices are very reasonable. A must-try in La Châtre.

At 1:30 a.m., we can clearly hear your playlists and karaoke sessions; you'll understand that it's unbearable. Given your upscale positioning, please be considerate of your immediate neighbors (the Seine is not a sound barrier).

06/06/2026: My child is enrolled in the golf school and enjoys their lessons. The setting is pleasant, and the instructors are patient, attentive, and skilled at teaching. The staff we encountered were also friendly. However, I noticed that some people don't always respond to greetings. I don't know why, but it can sometimes give a feeling of unwelcomingness. It's a shame, as it contrasts with the overall quality of the place. Overall, a positive experience for children learning golf.

18/06/2026: We had a wonderful time at this beachfront restaurant. The setting is beautiful, the food was excellent, and the service was impeccable. A big thank you to Lucas for his warm welcome, kindness, and professionalism throughout the meal. We will gladly return!

11/05/2026: La Réserve de la Mala is incredibly beautifully situated – right in a stunning bay with a truly unique atmosphere. The location is absolutely one of a kind and beautifully decorated. I love it! The food is also outstanding, and the entire experience feels very exclusive. A particularly great feature: you can even order a water taxi and be picked up directly from the boat – this makes the visit even more special. The only downside for me is the price-performance ratio for some of the simpler dishes. For example, the Pasta Pomodoro for children was considerably overpriced. Nevertheless, overall it's a wonderful place that everyone should experience at least once.

13/07/2026: In my opinion, La Maison D'Hoursetut took advantage of the fact it was our first time to come for the Tour de France stage on the iconic Col du Tourmalet. Short version: They advised us of the wrong time to arrive by car before the road closures, so we couldn't go up the mountain to see the stage there and they wouldn't give us a refund (no cancellations policy). Long version: Months in advance, we confirmed a few times with the hotel via email that our arrival time would be noon (specifically based on their advice), however, the very first police officer we drove up to said the road is closed. This is at 11:30. When I contacted the hotel they said they gave us the info they had at the time and that the gendarmerie moved up the time last minute. I've watched the Tour on TV go thru this route several times over the years and all of it is planned months in advance, so I didn't believe him and my instinct was confirmed the next day when I found an official printed flier from the stage that said the roads close at 10 for the Caravan. Each stage location has its own website with road closure info and for the life of me I couldn't find one for this stage from San Francisco, which is why I asked the hotel - because they should be experts on guests arriving for the Tour. I'm not going to make you re-live the long exchange of emails back and forth between me and the hotel, but I hope anyone who is considering them for the Tour either STAYS AWAY, or else does not count on them for anything. I believe they knew what they were doing with my reservation misdirection and I absolutely believe they kept our money and then sold our room again to one of the thousands of people on the mountain. Unethical.
