15/07/2026: We really enjoyed the beef carpaccio with truffle, the chicken brochette, and the duck at our dinner. Surprised by the negative reviews because we found the staff very friendly, and the food was very tasty. A little pricey but makes sense because of the great location and atmosphere.

12/07/2026: The wine list includes wines as high as €6,000 but the wine menu is littered with grammatical errors. Imagine going through all the time and effort to create the world’s best wine, and it’s presented grammatically incorrect in a laminated paper. This is the easiest part of service and they were not able to get it right. On top of that the staff were inept at wine service. There were two good members of the service team and that’s it. You will need to flag down a server for ten minutes until you’re able to order, if you’re lucky. The food is not worth the wait nor the price. This wouldn’t be an issue except they asked for tips at the end. Many of us tourists are more than happy to tip, however the service here was easily the worst I received anywhere in the Bordeaux region. You will be sitting with an empty glass, not having placed a food order, and the servers will be chatting in the corner with not a care in the world. Go anywhere else for better wine, atmosphere, and food.

01/04/2026: The hygiene of the saleswoman who served me on the morning of March 26th was deplorable. She handled the pastries with her bare hands. She even went so far as to pick under her fingernails in front of the customers.

30/03/2026: This bakery is selling baguettes without salt due to a production error. However...they don't warn customers...and leave them with inedible baguettes. This is neither professional nor respectful of their customers. Furthermore...what other unacceptable practices do you tolerate? This calls your integrity into question...One very angry customer you won't be seeing again!

22/07/2026: The sign and the place are what they are! There are good points and not-so-good points. On a personal level, you have to see the saleswomen's involvement; they deserve their dedication. I say hats off to them!!

09/07/2026: I ordered a Caesar salad today, not a single piece of bread, no dressing, and to my great surprise, the bowl was almost empty, with only three wilted lettuce leaves, even though there was no dressing. I had already stopped buying bread because the employees take the bread from the slicer with their bare hands, without gloves, right after handling coins. The only time this didn't happen was when the manager was there. The cashier was handing out trash she'd picked up off the floor to her colleague while he was serving me bread...

17/05/2026: Excellent value for money, but don't be in a hurry. This is also stated on the first page of the menu.

15/05/2026: We came from Alsace for a wedding. We found your restaurant online. The meal was very good. The waitress was very pleasant. We will gladly return.

20/07/2026: The service was far too slow, which was a shame. We waited over 35 minutes between the starter and the main course.

18/07/2026: The meal was satisfactory, but too expensive for what it was: the quality/price ratio wasn't there.

27/03/2026: The owner is wonderful, the atmosphere is calm, the pizza is generous and homemade, one of the few places in Haute-Savoie that can truly claim to make THE pizza like in Italy. I highly recommend it! 5 stars, 5 hearts, 5 everything!

23/05/2026: Avoid at all costs!!! We were served the smallest scoops of ice cream of our lives. Barely enough to taste it. It's a complete rip-off.

01/03/2026: We didn't eat because the kitchen is closed on Saturday at lunchtime, but the barmaid kindly welcomed us with our pizzas. A friendly welcome, quick service, and a pleasant atmosphere.

03/07/2026: We went there for dinner, excited about the reviews, and sadly we left disappointed. The food was nothing like the pictures, it was quite basic and way less elaborated, and the price was too high for what we got, in our opinion. The service on the other hand was good, and the hummus also!

31/07/2026: Expensive for what it is! The pot of mussels was about the size of a child's portion, and the cooking was poor because very few mussels were open! Since the fish and chips was priced at €22.50, I expected it to be homemade!

31/07/2026: The food and the atmosphere at this restaurant wer great. However, it took a very long while for them to take our order. Especially frustrating when you see them helping other people being seated after you and them joking around with eachother and other guests.

04/05/2026: I was very disappointed with my lunch at Le Grand Café de la Mairie. I ordered a Caesar salad which was far from satisfactory: wilted tomatoes, four small pieces of chicken, and to top it all off… stale bread. I wonder if the establishment has recently changed ownership or management, because the quality no longer seems to be there. At this price point, one would expect a minimum of freshness and a generous portion. It's a real shame, but as things stand, I don't think I'll be returning.

03/05/2026: Authentic yet modern cuisine, the warm atmosphere of this place makes you want to come back more often. The dishes are delicious and generous, and the service is excellent! I recommend it for a meal with family or friends.

15/04/2026: A very pleasant break in the sun with a view of Fourvière, lovely food, very clean restrooms. A delightful stop.

22/01/2026: An excellent experience! The food is homemade, full of flavor and authenticity. The welcome is truly warm, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. Even while waiting for the renovations to be completed, the atmosphere remains friendly and welcoming. A place not to be missed; I can't wait to return once everything is finished!
