29/06/2026: Closing at 9:30 PM We called at 8:30 PM to order, the phone rang but no one answered, and the answering machine said they closed at 9:30 PM. After several unanswered calls, we arrived at 9:00 PM, only to be told they were full and that's why they had cut the line (I repeat, they weren't full, and they confirmed a 9:30 PM closing time). A 20-minute drive for nothing

28/07/2026: Delicious steak frites. Recommended medium rare for the steak. The hippo sauce was quite unique, the black pepper and bernaise were also good. Do try the egg mayonnaise starter and the panna cotta at the end for dessert. Worth it! Would recommend if you are near Massena.

28/07/2026: A very nice French brasserie in Neuilly-sur-Seine, with a pleasant terrace and a warm atmosphere, ideal for a relaxing lunch or dinner. The owner and staff were particularly welcoming, friendly, and very professional, which made our experience even more enjoyable. We chose grilled sea bream and a beef steak, both served with delicious roasted new potatoes. The sea bream was very fresh, perfectly cooked, with crispy skin and tender, flavorful flesh. The steak was tender, juicy, and cooked exactly as requested. The potatoes were excellent and complemented both dishes perfectly. To finish, we enjoyed a light, creamy lemon cheesecake, delicately flavored with lemon without being too sweet. An excellent way to end the meal. A truly wonderful place that I wholeheartedly recommend for the quality of the food, the warm welcome, and the professional service.

04/06/2026: Halles de la Martinière began in 1838 as a municipal food market in two halls arranged around Rue de la Martinière. Butter, eggs, poultry and other provisions were sold inside, while the street kept public movement open between the halls. The southern hall burned in 1873, was rebuilt, then disappeared when the street was widened in 1903, leaving the surviving stone hall as a reduced remnant of that original market. Its columns, iron grilles, lantern and later glass reopening show a building repeatedly adjusted where food trade met the street. After closure in 2011, it reopened in 2017 with local products, eating on site and takeaway, though that reuse entered fresh uncertainty with the cooperative grocery’s 2026 liquidation.

02/05/2026: I want to share my experience, this time as someone directly affected, since this lunch was organized for my birthday: a moment I had imagined to be friendly, simple, and joyful… which was ultimately completely ruined. The reservation had been made more than a month in advance, with very clearly specified and agreed-upon conditions: staggered arrivals, some guests not eating, and above all, the possibility of having a common area to drink and share a moment together. Everything had been planned to ensure it went smoothly. Upon our arrival, the welcome was extremely cold, almost hostile. We were immediately and categorically refused to set up a communal table, even though the space was more than adequate. A tense exchange ensued, during which a member of the staff was particularly unpleasant, with an inappropriate tone and unacceptable remarks. Being called “difficult customers” on my birthday, hearing that “no solution would be found” and that we could “leave” if we weren’t happy… it’s not only shocking, but deeply disrespectful. What’s even more incomprehensible is that the solution initially requested was finally implemented afterward. This clearly proves that it was possible from the start, without unnecessary conflict. Why did it have to come to this? From an organizational standpoint, nothing was clear: no menus for the guests, the requirement to get up to order without any explanation, no assistance whatsoever… The service was practically nonexistent, with very little follow-up at the tables, even though the establishment wasn’t even full. In this context, it was difficult to enjoy the moment. And that’s precisely what’s most frustrating: beyond the logistical aspects, it was an important personal moment that was ruined. A birthday isn’t just a meal, it’s a memory. Unfortunately, this experience will forever be marked by a profound lack of professionalism and consideration. Following this, I was contacted by one of the partners, Yohan, who wanted to discuss the situation. I responded immediately and made myself available for a call. Despite this, there was no follow-up, a missed call with no response, and my follow-up has gone unanswered to this day. This lack of follow-up is completely inconsistent with the initial approach and further reinforces the feeling of neglect and disregard for the customer. It's all the more disappointing because the food was good. But this in no way compensates for the overall experience, which was disappointing from beginning to end. I will not be returning, and I strongly advise against this establishment for any significant event.

04/07/2026: Absolutely must try this place if you want a shameful, catastrophic, and completely illegal experience!! Passing through for business, we couldn't get a receipt, well, actually, we did, look at the photos: No VAT, credit card refused, with the explanation that the cashier was right next door, no cash register!! The hygiene was appalling: the "desserts" were left out in the open, even though it was 30°C outside! The cook in jogging pants and a sports t-shirt is fine for a run, but not for working in a kitchen. They offered a set menu for our arrival for the "1st anniversary of the restaurant," which included a welcome cocktail. We're still waiting for it. This menu was couscous with a mechoui salad + dessert for €16. Okay, we weren't expecting a royal couscous for that price, but still, not this! A plate of semolina, two pieces of carrot, two pieces of zucchini, three meatballs about 2cm each (or one chicken thigh). Everything was overcooked and, consequently, incredibly dry, but surprisingly, completely cold... long live the microwave!! It's not like we didn't warn you... The mechoui salad was so spicy it was inedible, and it's not like we don't enjoy spicy food, but well, at the same time, since we never even saw the "homemade" harissa, we'll say that makes up for it! The broth we ordered as an extra to try and wash it all down was just slightly colored tomato water.... We asked for extra merguez sausage, but this is the only "oriental" restaurant in France that has neither beef, nor merguez, nor lamb.... Hence the tasteless broth, I suppose! And when we got to the till, because after the couscous (which we left at 80%) we wanted to stop spending, the woman wanted to charge us for three complete meals when we only had: 0 cocktails 1 salad 3 couscous dishes 0 desserts In short, I call them crooks. This place should be shut down!

12/06/2026: It's not the most obvious place when you arrive in the square, but it's a little gem. Warm welcome. No wait and a superb meal, well presented. You can really taste the homemade quality. Add to that a sublime dessert: strawberry meringue and hot chocolate. Pure bliss. I'll be back. N Guédra

25/04/2026: Excellent restaurant with a beautiful view. The service is really good; the waiters are polite and friendly. Personally, I didn't like the perch fillet, but the people I went with did, so it's a matter of personal taste. I recommend this restaurant.

21/02/2026: Fantastic setting by the lake! This pirate-themed restaurant has a fun and immersive decor. The terrace offers a lovely view of the lake, which is very pleasant. The food is good, simple and efficient, and the staff is friendly. A great place to eat in Yvoir!

04/08/2026: A very bad experience. My partner turned off his engine as soon as an employee asked him to. Despite this, she became very aggressive and insulted us ("wanker," "get lost," etc.), even resorting to verbal threats. What's most shocking is that the manager was present and never intervened. Such behavior is unacceptable. We will not be returning.

04/08/2026: Hello, Today we were assaulted by the waitress or owner—I don't even want to know what she is, I'm not even sure she's human—she spoke rudely to us and literally assaulted us in front of all her customers. Whatever you do, don't go there; this woman is a real terror.

17/07/2026: A huge disappointment. We were regular customers, but this will be our last visit. The toilets are in an unacceptable state of cleanliness: dirty bins, a toilet brush in a deplorable condition, a stained sink, a neglected changing table… The whole place gives the impression of a complete lack of maintenance. When you see restrooms in such a state, it's difficult to have confidence in the overall hygiene standards of the establishment. It's a real shame, because this restaurant used to be a good place. I sincerely hope that management will react quickly, because today, it's simply unacceptable.

13/07/2026: Absolute gem! This restaurant has so much variety for plain price that is incredible! Not all food is great though, but can't complain, for this price! Will come back many times I believe

19/07/2026: The restaurant was open continuously this Sunday afternoon, in addition to the meat and gourmet food shop (next to Augustin's, which was also open). First visit. I didn't know about it. Not from the neighborhood. Never had the chance to be in the area. Too discreet? It was the outdoor seating that led us to the place being open. A pleasant surprise to find this butcher open on a Sunday afternoon after a late start Sunday morning and before hitting the road. Burger prices are in line with brasserie fare when I worked two years ago in Bruz-Vert Buisson (so without taking inflation into account), homemade quality, local products, even for the fries ("homemade"). Very friendly welcome. They recommended the two homemade sauces for those with food intolerances to thickeners, emulsifiers, and the like... The decor is both distinctive and understated. Small, chic armchairs, ultra-comfortable and low enough to feel firmly planted on the floor if you're a woman under 5'3". Also practical for children. There were three of us, and we were the only ones in the large dining room. I would have expected more people for this kind of pleasant place on a Sunday (mid-July). We were served in 10 to 13 minutes, the little one first. Everything was piping hot. The little one's portion was as generous as an adult's. He only ate a third of the burger and a few fries (he's three and a half), and gave us the pickles. I didn't have to sacrifice myself to eat an extra half-burger and the rest of the fries (even with a little bit of Oasis Tropical juice spilled at the bottom of the plate). Because they were good fries. I thought of the McDonald's just a stone's throw away. I figured you can only compare apples to apples. There's the "dream" version, endlessly advertised on TV, which you can only really find at a butcher's or made at home. We were there between 2:30 and 3:50 PM. Too early on a Sunday to take advantage of the Sunday evening promotion: free fries with every burger purchased 😲😲😲😲🎉🎉. Two hours later, while writing this review, I still feel like I ate a bit too much (one and a half burgers, one and a half portions of fries; no dessert; a coffee).

15/07/2026: The price is really, really expensive, unfortunately! I'll let everyone draw their own conclusions. Here's the menu: burger of the day with a slice of bacon, fries and coleslaw, a red fruit panna cotta, a 50cl bottle of San Pellegrino, and a large espresso. Total: €26.50. Frankly, it's too expensive, even if the meat is decent, but you can find the same thing at the butcher shop. On the other hand, I have to admit the service is excellent. I won't be back. Thank you.
