29/06/2026: One-hour wait, dry burger, soggy fries, no salt on the table, no sauces despite repeated requests, and no apology or compensation.
At €19 for a burger, it's a bit pricey.
28/06/2026: We were a group, and the waiter was very unpleasant. He consistently got our orders wrong (we asked for sparkling wine, and he brought us sparkling water). He never apologized and kicked us out an hour before closing time. Avoid this place.

09/08/2026: Disappointed that there wasn't more variety in the sandwiches on Sundays; even the pastries seemed to be from the day before. It's a shame because I really liked this franchise.

I wondered if I'd actually walked into a bakery, as the cashier was less welcoming than a prison guard...
Also, I've never tasted such a salty apple turnover... 🤮🤮🤮

07/07/2026: We was travelling through Europe on our motorbikes found this hotel by luck booked for one night ended up staying 3 nights absolutely beautiful hotel staff where amazing food was 10/10 a very rare find a must on anyone's bucket list best hotel in all the years travelling Europe will make it a regular every year well done 👏
09/05/2026: The food is excellent at this very comfortable family-run hotel.
The owners are very attentive to our needs, and the cuisine is refined with a very varied menu.
I highly recommend it.

They're excellent even reheated in the microwave the next day!

However, the dining room is beautiful and unique, and the drink prices are fantastic for a bar on the Old Port (€1 for a syrup, whereas it's at least double that everywhere else).
I recommend it.

11/09/2026: The decor was the only thing that shocked me! When I ordered a beer, the glass wasn't a proper beer glass at all, with "Henken" written on it! It was a mini glass, and they charged me 7 euros. I'm used to going to drink proper beer glasses, and they have the brand of beer written on them. I find it petty to charge a huge price for a mini beer glass when there's practically nothing to drink in it.
08/09/2026: The barely edible dishes are piled like a large, shapeless heap on a minimalist round plate—the tables being small—which they inevitably overflow. And the continuous, repetitive thumping music does nothing to soften the impression of a rather dreary and unappealing bistro.

09/09/2026: We came for lunch on Monday and learned that there had been a change of ownership. Unfortunately, this is reflected in the food.
We ordered a goat cheese and honey galette, but there was practically nothing inside. Very disappointing, especially for regulars.
Unfortunately, we won't be going back anytime soon.
07/09/2026: An excellent crêperie that I wholeheartedly recommend! The savory buckwheat crêpes are really good, fresh, and generously filled. But a special mention goes to the sweet crêpes: they are simply excellent! 🤩
The crêpe batter is incredible, probably the best I've ever had. You can really taste the quality and the homemade touch.
A true delight from start to finish, with fresh ingredients and lots of flavor. An address I'll treasure and where I'll return with great pleasure! 🥞❤️

31/05/2026: If I were to give it 0 stars, I would have. The security guard thinks he's guarding the café of the year because he saw two comedians having shisha that didn't even have any taste. Unpleasant, avoid it.
25/04/2026: I've been a customer for a few years, and since the change of ownership a few months ago, I have nothing but praise...great shisha, great atmosphere, and super friendly staff.
I highly recommend it.

01/09/2026: Delicious pizza!!! After a day of boat tours and exploring the city, we weren't particularly hungry and didn't feel like going to a restaurant. This pizzeria is close to our hotel, and the aroma was truly appetizing. I asked for the pizza closest to an Italian margherita, and it was truly excellent. Perfect dough, excellent tomato sauce, good mozzarella. Quality black olives. Very friendly staff. Well done!
30/08/2026: For the past few years I've been ordering your cheese pizzas, which are very, very good, and the receptionist is super friendly 💖 However, I wanted to try the three-cheese pizza, and it's really, really not good. It's a shame...

19/09/2026: A glass of Macon and a pint of lager for €16.50 Given the prices charged, it would be good to repaint the toilets, buy a new flush button, and provide undiluted hand soap (75% water)... A bit of a disgrace for international tourism in Old Lyon.
14/09/2026: Yesterday, after our visit to Les Tupiniers, we went for a drink nearby.
After one of us had a whisky and tonic and the other a St. Véran, we paid for our drinks. When I was told it would be €9, I thought my friend would pay less for her glass of white wine. Well, no, the bill was also €9. The St. Véran wasn't anything special.
A real rip-off, a tourist trap! I'll never go back to that café where the toilets aren't spotless and the door is very slamming.
