15/05/2026: The neighborhood is nice, and the bistro is very accessible. But the mass-produced food and the waiter who didn't even look at us when we ordered were too much for me. It was like we were bothering them... There are better places not too far away.

16/07/2026: Unfortunately, at 7:50 PM, no one answered the phone, neither the 06 nor the 02 numbers, after three calls. Ordering via the website was impossible: "This town is not served by the pizzeria." Usually, there are no problems. It's a shame about the serious lack of communication.

29/06/2026: Disgusting, no other words. Calzon, no ham, no egg, full of fat, black mushrooms. You won't see me anytime soon.

15/04/2026: The welcome was icy, no advice whatsoever. The sales assistant served me mechanically, and the other sales assistant was on her phone, not even looking up. The worst part is that I had requested a specific grind for my machine, which was ignored. This was definitely the last time I'll ever go there.

30/01/2026: I just bought a high-end bean-to-cup coffee machine and I wanted to buy quality coffee. I was helped by Cyril who gave me excellent advice.

03/07/2026: Mixed feelings! The initial welcome was rather cold, even slightly haughty. We barely had time to step inside and look around before we felt pressured to hurry up and choose and order. Feeling a bit rushed, and given that our morning was already quite tiring for other reasons, we were a little flustered. I apologized, saying, "Excuse us, we're a bit tired." The server replied, "Yes, we saw..." or "Yes, we noticed." Okay... We ordered. I admit she softened and even offered us glasses of water. But I felt it lacked warmth. When you go to this type of upscale bakery/tea room, you expect a slightly better customer experience. The cakes: The chocolate and meringue cake was very good. My father really enjoyed the raspberry cheesecake, which wasn't too sweet. My mother, on the other hand, was disappointed with her raspberry tartlet, which had no pastry cream, just the crust and raspberries... The coffees were good. A bit pricey for what it was. A plus at this time of year: the air conditioning.

11/06/2026: The opera cake and strawberry cake were sickeningly sweet, the buttercream far too dense and sugary. It tasted like defrosted, mass-produced pastries. For the same price, you're better off going to Hermé, Couvreur, Genin....

08/05/2026: We arrived at the restaurant and were immediately enveloped in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. My friends and I struck up a conversation with David, an exceptional waiter. Thank you again for the warm welcome, and see you very soon!

03/07/2026: A serious facelift is needed; we thought the place had been abandoned. There's a huge, hideous black stain on the roof, the colors are drab—in short, the exterior is truly ugly and uninviting. The service is adequate, but the prices are far too high for what you get. The taste and flavor are very bland; Picard does just as well. The bison terrine tastes like pork terrine, and the presentation, served in a jar, is really poor. The jar doesn't indicate the type or origin of the meat, but I seriously doubt it's American bison... Just average, 10/20

20/06/2026: We had a very good meal on the terrace this evening; the main course and dessert were both delicious. The service was pleasant, with a lovely waitress. A big plus is that you accept pets! This isn't the case everywhere.

25/07/2026: Restaurant located inside the Louvre Museum. The food is good, a bit pricey but acceptable. All the meat is halal (thank you).

29/06/2026: It’s right inside the Lurve museum, a great place to have some meal and rest in the hot summer. The service is great. And the burger and dresser are highlight. However, Soup of the day tastes a bit blank, the smoked salmon sandwich is a bit off from my expectation. Drinks are nice and have a wide variety of selection Price wise it might be more ex than other cafes but when you don’t want to walk a lot under the hot sun or wait for seats in other cafes, this becomes a perfect choice.

23/10/2025: A smile or some kindness from the server would not be a luxury, we had the impression of bothering him, the robot is nicer than him, even if I am not sure that the clean/dirty chain is respected.... On the other hand, the food was good, no all-you-can-eat buffet that day, small quantities which avoids waste, nice place, I recommend even if I am not a fan of the robot which replaces the human

04/07/2026: Meal for a group of 45 people. Same menu for everyone. Appalling service with only one person on duty. Far too long a wait, the dishes arrived cold and tasteless. A shame for a Mercure hotel to offer such a mediocre experience.

21/04/2026: Simple but good food. Classic cheese platter. Hotel atmosphere. Please make sure to update your menus on your website and in the rooms, as not everything listed in the apps was available in the dining room. A shame (server informed).

07/12/2025: I came to eat at this restaurant on Thursday at lunchtime, it was great! The appetizer and dessert buffet was fantastic, as well as four main courses to choose from—a real treat! I highly recommend this restaurant.

The recommendations were excellent, accurate, and precise—everything you could expect from true professionals. As for the quality of the meal, it was flawless. I was 100% satisfied, hence this review. We will definitely be back.

04/06/2026: Having been there this afternoon with 15 people, the waiter was not at all pleasant, cold, and annoyed at having to take payment one by one; he's not ready for the 24-hour system. He should change jobs!

16/07/2026: The place was noisy and echoed. The coffee was terrible, very weak. The staff weren't unpleasant, but they weren't particularly friendly either. In short, I didn't really find this place worthwhile.

02/05/2026: The service and atmosphere were impeccable, but I'm really disappointed with the quality... the chicken was really bad, the tomato sauce needs changing, maybe with San Marzano, and you can't taste the mozzarella... what a shame!

17/03/2026: Ordered a terrible kebab tonight, it tasted like turkey... the panini was for kids, the bread wasn't cooked and the cheese wasn't evenly distributed... For now, I'll stick with Delice Doner.

09/03/2026: I came with friends for the first time, and this kebab was touted as the best in Alençon. I admit I had some doubts about their claims, but once I tasted the kebab, I understood. The meat was of exceptionally high quality for a kebab, the condiments were fresh, and the bread had the perfect balance between crispy and soft. The fries were homemade, which was a definite plus. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy the taste. I think it must have been the oil. It's a hit or miss, unfortunately, you know? The negative point was the sauce. I ordered a white sauce, also homemade, but there was an overpowering aftertaste of mayonnaise. I was annoyed at the time, but it's not a big deal. The service was impeccable, with a big smile from the chef. The prices were standard, and the setting was simple and clean. I'll gladly return next time I'm in Alençon.
