29/06/2026: It's a shame, we came to have a good time, but the wait and the service were terrible. There was a lot of tension among the customers in the outdoor patio because we weren't the only ones experiencing this lack of organization! We reported the problem at checkout! The response: "Staff shortage." We arrived at 7:45 pm and left at 10 pm! We ordered dinner and dessert for two adults and a child, but waited 45 minutes for the first course, and on top of that, the prices were exorbitant.

07/06/2026: It's a shame there's only one waiter on a Sunday afternoon. He's very competent, but they should think about hiring more staff instead of just focusing on profits.

29/07/2026: Hello, very pleasant shop, very friendly staff, despite the crowds they always had a kind word for. Special mention to the manager, always smiling and pleasant. The specialty breads are very good. Thank you to the whole team for your kindness and good cheer.

25/07/2026: The waitress was incredibly rude! Not even a hello, she seemed annoyed. I asked her for information, she sighed, didn't answer my question, and told me to read the signs if I wanted the information I was looking for... uh, lol... and it was only 10 am, I can only imagine what she'd be like at 4 pm... She should find another job if she can't stand people. I should add that she was just as unpleasant to the two customers before me, who also made the same comment...

21/07/2026: Unfortunately, the good reviews are about a year old, and it seems a lot has changed in that time. We were there with the whole family and ordered pizzas. The somewhat dingy atmosphere initially made us a bit suspicious, so we specifically asked if the pizzas were homemade – this was confirmed. Unfortunately, they turned out to be frozen pizzas, costing €15 each. When we spoke to the owner about it, he denied it, but we're 100% certain – it's a shame we were misled by the positive reviews.

22/02/2026: The shop was too expensive. And for quite some time now, it hadn't been the same. A few years ago, I bought oysters there twice... When I opened them, they were orange inside and had an unbearable smell that I will NEVER forget. It closed down. Good riddance! Goodbye!

11/07/2026: Great, until the manager verbally assaulted us, claiming she had to "put away three chairs and three tables." This same person then physically assaulted me, even threatening to "wait for me outside." It's a shame, because the rest of the staff is wonderful and handled the situation professionally.

29/05/2026: The atmosphere and service were generally acceptable. We arrived too late to get a pizza, which was a shame. So we opted for the all-you-can-eat buffet, but the experience was rather disappointing. The starters seemed mostly mass-produced, with nothing particularly special. The main courses were generally dry, with a rather limited selection, and the same was true for the desserts. All this for €17, a price I unfortunately find too high for the quality offered. It's not really worth the trip.

13/03/2026: We waited about 20 minutes on the terrace without our order being taken. The waitress probably forgot about us, which can happen. So I went to the bar to ask if we could order directly, but unfortunately, the reception wasn't very friendly. We left without ordering anything.

11/03/2026: We come to Les Angles on holiday and we come 3 to 4 times a week. The staff are very welcoming and always smiling; every time we come, it's a real pleasure from aperitif to dessert.

24/07/2026: I'll only judge based on what I ordered and my experience with the service. First of all, we came on a friend's recommendation, and it was a huge disappointment… the tacos were bland, with almost no sauce, very little meat, and loaded with fries. The fries were greasy, soggy, and barely cooked. Otherwise, the staff were respectful, and the place was well-maintained. It's just a shame to see such a lack of quality and quantity for the price paid.

19/05/2026: A varied selection presented on a slate. Good and generous portions. I had a 5A andouillette sausage, prepared in the traditional style, with homemade fries. The strawberries Melba was excellent. Efficient and friendly service. The basement location isn't very appealing.

04/08/2026: I stopped by around 3:45 PM between appointments to grab a bite to eat. I ordered a sandwich, fries, and a drink. After 15 minutes, I went to the counter because I didn't have time to wait any longer. The young man there told me, "We're short-staffed, so yes, it's taking a while..." I asked for a refund because I didn't have time to eat. I asked to see a manager, who told him the same thing as the server: "We don't have enough staff." There were three families in the restaurant. Furthermore, this so-called manager told me, "Please note that we haven't been a fast-food restaurant for some time now." I told him that staffing problems shouldn't be advertised to customers like that, and if it's not possible to serve people, they should say so. That's when this manager started explaining the poor working conditions, etc. In the retail industry, this kind of talk is simply inappropriate. And it's not worthy of a manager to whine without taking responsibility. Be patient if you go. It's not a fast-food place. I just found out.

03/08/2026: The employees talk amongst themselves a lot instead of focusing on their work, which slows them down. Orders are often poorly prepared. On several occasions, I've gone home with an incomplete order or with menus that didn't match what I ordered.

11/07/2026: What a fun night we had at Gallopin! Great service, really delicious food, cocktails 10/10 (merci Andre) and dances till 2am! The place is a perfect mix of Parisian chic, beautiful people, flirty atmosphere and a great music. It’s a perfect MATCH for single people to meet likeminded pure hearts and spend a great time together🫶🏻💃🍸

10/07/2026: I used to go there, until the day something worth €4,000 was stolen from me. Now there's nobody around. The owner seems used to it, and when I write to him to get access to the security cameras, he doesn't reply. And from what I understand, this happens often there…

24/10/2025: Good and quiet restaurant. For people who like to eat well in peace.

11/10/2025: Huge disappointment. I ordered a scallop casserole with leeks: the leeks weren't cooked, nor were the potatoes (not listed on the menu). Furthermore, the dishes served looked nothing like the photos on TripAdvisor or Instagram. It's also a wine bar. From what I understand, there have been problems with the cook since a change of ownership. Avoid this place.

22/07/2026: Tourists and Parisians, stay away! This is nothing like a waffle. The batter is incredibly sweet, undercooked, and just warmed up when you buy it. It's a disgrace to Belgians, a tourist trap.
