18/09/2026: I went there for the ice cream. A friend had recommended it as the best ice cream I'd ever tasted in Paris, and... I can only agree. I tried strawberry and passion fruit, and it was incredible!! I'll definitely go back to try other flavors. GO FOR IT!

19/08/2026: Amazing place to get cheap but delicious drinks, sit and people watch with Norte Dame around you. If you want to escape the tourist crowd but still have a steady stream of people to catch, this is it. The owners are kind and the drinks are exceptionally well priced. I really recommend this place for an afternoon hang!

18/08/2026: The food was generally quite good, but some dishes were overcooked. However, several things really disappointed us. I ordered a cheeseburger for €18, but the cheese was missing. When I went to pay, I was told a 10% discount had been applied to compensate, even though the final price quoted was €19. I didn't understand this discount, and more importantly, the price I was charged didn't match what had been initially quoted. In addition, the cleanliness was clearly lacking. It's a shame, because with decent food, better value for money, and more attention to cleanliness, the experience could have been much better. I do not recommend it.

07/09/2026: We chose this restaurant the day before; it seemed nice and the reviews were good. So I want to clarify that the waitress was completely blameless and very kind. But we hadn't had an experience like this before. The waitress, who was there occasionally, didn't know anything about spirits or how to make coffee, but she was there simply to help out because the owner was absent. She was supposed to be helped by the son, but he had gone to his apartment, leaving her to manage on her own. While the dishes were decent, there was no bread because they had forgotten to buy any. We ordered wine, but since the waitress didn't know anything about wines, we passed on it. For dessert, I had Gewürztraminer Marc ice cream. She searched for it and, with the help of the cook, finally found it. As for the coffee, she had never touched a professional coffee machine, but she managed to make two coffees for us. Again, she couldn't do anything about it and tried, with her kindness, to make it all worthwhile. But why keep a restaurant open under these conditions? The owner has a lazy son who was probably sleeping upstairs. The waitress had to knock on the door every time, but he wouldn't have bothered to help her. I'm being generous by giving it two stars because it doesn't deserve them, but since the food was decent and the waitress was very kind, I couldn't give it one star, even though it was well-deserved. So, Madam, next time you take a break, close the restaurant and don't leave it to your lazy son.

05/09/2026: Avoid this restaurant. It took 20 minutes to get a menu. Another long wait for our drinks. Our neighbors waited an hour for their meals. We could hear shouting coming from the kitchen. A ruined evening.

23/08/2026: Fantastic experience at Nœux Kebab! The food is delicious, the ingredients are fresh, and the portions are generous. You can really feel the positive changes since the business took over. A huge congratulations to the two young women who took over the business! 👏🏼 They are very welcoming, friendly, professional, and truly put their heart and soul into what they do. It's wonderful to see young women taking the plunge and bringing new energy to the business! I highly recommend it and will definitely be back. Congratulations to them and best of luck for the future! ❤️

26/07/2026: We went to eat there on Saturday evening and we thoroughly enjoyed the food, it was very good. The two daughters who own it are very, very pleasant and super nice. We will definitely go back and I give them 5 stars.

14/09/2026: I've been ordering from here for years. Recently they changed the menu, offering smaller portions but the same price. The quality has also declined significantly. I got sick after ordering through Uber Eats; that was the last time!

09/09/2026: A little disappointed with the new menu. As regular customers, my partner and I were used to the €17 set menu, which was quite good, especially considering the à la carte options. We were happy with it and could eat a variety of foods. With the change, that's no longer the case. Having to choose three simple skewers when we could have two of each before was a real plus. Nevertheless, we'll keep fond memories of your restaurant and we say goodbye and best of luck! ❤️

17/08/2026: I came to Commercy for the first time. I was very disappointed with the Bistrot restaurant. The food was very average. I ordered a sirloin steak that was still surrounded by fat, served with supposedly "homemade" mayonnaise that was extremely salty and inedible, and in a tiny amount. The fries were also very average, overcooked and frozen. I asked the waiters for more mayonnaise several times, but they ignored me. I finally received it at the end of my meal. However, I was charged an extra €2 on the bill for having the misfortune of asking for a little mayonnaise. If I can find a positive point, my friend who was with me enjoyed her dessert and coffee. That said, the service was also just average. If all the restaurants were closed, you could try your luck at the Bistrot.

03/06/2026: Hello, I arrived at just under 8 am and there were no raspberry cookies. The young man told me there weren't any, a little disappointed at that early hour. I'll try again tomorrow, we'll see.

20/04/2026: Arrived at 3 PM. Asked if it was possible to make two sandwiches, ham and cheese. The answer was no. I couldn't, even though I was the only one in the bakery.

18/08/2026: We were very disappointed. The staff were not at all welcoming and were unpleasant. If you don't love your passion for a restaurant, there's really no point in continuing in this industry. The service was extremely slow, and taking our order was just as slow. The menu listed cuttlefish à la plancha, but unfortunately, the cuttlefish was cooked in water; it was really not good at all. The dishes were very greasy. And finally, watch out for the bill at the end! Luckily, we checked it; we were going to pay double. We won't be going back.

13/08/2026: Back in 2025, we had already made a reservation, but when we arrived, it wasn't what we wanted—mussels and fries—but paella. So we left empty-handed, without any apology from the person who greeted us. In 2026, we booked a table for four for 7 pm. We arrived at 7 pm and left at 10 pm. Luckily, the mussels were fresh, which was a relief being by the sea. For an aperitif, we had bottled sangria; the Lidl brand is even better. The fries were frozen, and as for dessert, let's not even talk about it: a pre-made fruit salad in a bucket that tasted like nothing at all. We couldn't even tell if we were eating fruit or some kind of weird juice. The staff was not pleasant at all. So, if you're thinking of eating there, turn around and leave quickly. Avoid it.

14/09/2026: The only problems: the toilets are constantly clogged with a foul stench, making them unusable. And the prices are quite high. Otherwise, the atmosphere is good, and the service is as pleasant as the location. It's a shame that, for such a price, the sanitary facilities aren't maintained properly.

13/09/2026: Dirty bar. Horrible toilets. Total lack of hygiene. It stinks inside, the DJ smokes behind his booth... High prices. Staff leaves much to be desired, not to mention the reputation...

10/09/2026: The salmon poke bowl is smoked salmon, oxidized avocado, vinaigrette, and overcooked rice. With grapefruit, it makes for a bitter dish that lacks flavor. Friendly service Noisy dining room.

11/10/2026: Newly renovated rest stop near Toul, close to Nancy. It has excellent coffee machines, a snack bar, and a well-stocked shop.
