16/06/2026: The products were from the day before and inedible. The saleswoman was also very unpleasant. I strongly advise against going there.

26/04/2026: The pastries were rather mass-produced and lacked freshness. The cappuccino was disappointing, with little flavor and mediocre foam.

25/06/2026: Very disappointed. My name is Celma, a name that's actually quite easy to pronounce. An employee took the liberty of calling me "Zoubida" jokingly, which I found very inappropriate and insulting. A few moments later, another colleague rattled off several names ("Sarah," "Samia," etc.) before a third corrected him, finally saying "Celma." I found this situation awkward and disrespectful. I came to have lunch, not to have my name ridiculed. It gave me the impression that names of Eastern origin weren't taken seriously. Furthermore, it's expensive for what it is, and I didn't find it very good. I don't recommend it.

18/07/2026: We went there as a group of 11 on July 15th for dinner while watching the fireworks. We had booked the day before by phone. We had a lovely time; the servers were delightful, and the people around us were very understanding, as we had five children with us. The menus were reasonably priced, delicious, and generous. We paid exactly €100 for five people, including drinks and a three-course meal (starter, main, and dessert). Dining while watching the fireworks was truly a luxury. We'll definitely be back!

13/07/2026: During our four-day stay in Châtel, we had lunch at this restaurant on Saturday, July 11th. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. There were only three occupied tables, meaning fewer than twenty customers, with only three people serving, yet we waited nearly 20 minutes before receiving a menu. We ordered a bottle of rosé, but there were no more wine glasses, the waitress telling us that "they were all broken." We ended up having to ask for cocktail glasses. As for the food, the pizza was good. However, the carpaccio was disappointing: the meat was tough and the fries were far too overcooked. Finally, the service was the most disappointing aspect. The staff were unfriendly and seemed more preoccupied with chatting and joking with their colleagues than attending to the customers.

14/08/2026: Friendly staff, good fries, but disappointed with the sauce in the Berliner. And the biggest problem with this place: THE MUSIC. It's way too loud; you wonder if you're in a fast-food restaurant or a nightclub. The noise level is unbearable; I thought I was going to throw up because the loud music was so unbearable. I won't be back. Please think of your customers. We come to eat, not to have to endure blaring music and leave with a headache.

13/08/2026: The meat was awful, the dining room wasn't even cleaned, there was cardboard everywhere, and we got sick.

19/09/2025: This restaurant is permanently closed. Should have updated in google. Wasted our time and money as it is far away from the center.

02/06/2026: Under the previous owner, we were treated much better! The cooks were quickly overwhelmed! There's a tempting sign on the door, at a great price, but behind the door, you're not greeted. I was there alone, at 1 p.m., looking presentable, with empty tables, but the place was full. Goodbye! Phew! A nice restaurant further on, with a steak tartare cooked to perfection, L'ATELIER, in La Motte-Beuvron.

02/06/2026: The hotel spa was clean, pleasant, and very well designed. Lola at reception was smiling, very friendly, and explained everything to us. There's a hammam, a sauna, a sensory shower, and a tea room, all beautifully decorated and very clean. The spa products are high quality. We highly recommend it and will gladly return.

26/07/2026: Hello, I just wanted to say, firstly, there was an extremely long wait, and secondly, I found the waiter to be completely disrespectful; he practically laughed in my face. I ordered a spicy dish, but once it was served, I realized it was inedible. I understand that food can be spicy, but this was ridiculous! I love chili, but they made it way too hot. I also ordered cabbage, which I never received! It cost me €40; I might as well have gone to a proper restaurant! I told him, and he laughed in my face. Truly disrespectful. Hello, I'm sorry to leave another negative review… I really like Pitaya, so I keep coming back because, despite everything, I enjoy your food… The woman with the tattoo on her neck was incredibly unpleasant. I've never seen anything like it. If you don't love your job, you should quit! This isn't appropriate behavior for a restaurant. Private problems should stay outside! We, the customers, are not the cause of moods like this!

26/07/2026: Could use a little sprucing up. I've eaten at pitayas that were cleaner than this one. The food was perfectly decent, but the wait was a bit long.

15/05/2026: A very pleasant welcome. A lovely, generous sharing platter. Unlimited calf's head. Personally, I found the sauce barely seasoned and a bit bland, but overall it was good. The fried small fish was excellent. My only complaint is the frozen and microwaved dessert – it was too ordinary. A homemade tarte tatin is so much better! I'll definitely go back; we had a great time.

11/04/2026: I'm giving it one star because I can't give less. Very disappointed. The mojito was awful, the whisky was dry and watery with ice cubes, three salad leaves cost €2, and the fried smelt was inedible. The service was too slow and unpleasant. The toilet was covered in graffiti. We waited 50 minutes for the bill and had to ask for it again. Apparently, we were bothering the few other customers. Group of 8

11/03/2026: The owners are a very warm and attentive couple. Their savory and sweet crepes are delicious and generously filled. It's one of the best buckwheat crepe batters I've ever had! I highly recommend it.

22/05/2026: Upon arrival, the bathroom hadn't been cleaned... Immediate room change! No discount, not even a gesture of goodwill, no complimentary drinks or aperitif! We ordered at the bar, waited patiently because no one was there, and even had to clear our own table while they found a waitress... Furthermore, we had booked two rooms but only one was upgraded, which was nice, but not mine. Two upgrades would have been better than none at all...

19/04/2026: Visited hotel with a tourist group from Slovenia and we were satisfied with everything - rooms are big, modern, clean and cosy, breakfast is very diverse (...it would be nice if they had more of fresh vegetables) and good (loved the bread and cheese selection), parking space was enough for 55 seater. I highly recommend.

20/12/2025: The quality of the pizza and the service left much to be desired. We won't be back.

31/07/2026: A welcoming bar, the owners are attentive to their customers, and the waitress is helpful. I recommend it.

29/04/2026: I went there for some scratch-off tickets. I was finally greeted by a woman who scolded me because the scratch was done incorrectly and it was going to jam her machine. I had to get quite annoyed before she gave them back. Because yes, of course she grumbled, but she still scanned them! She finally gave me back my pack of tickets and I went to scan them somewhere else. To a place where the service is pleasant and people aren't bothered by the trivialities of work. It's not easy playing shopkeeper every day.
