09/09/2026: Very disappointing. We really didn't enjoy the experience, and instead of trying to understand what was wrong, we were simply asked to leave. The welcome and the way the situation was handled were frankly unpleasant. It completely ruined the experience. I do not recommend it.

09/09/2026: We came to this café for three days during a business trip. The first two days were fine, but the service on the last day definitely put us off. We arrived very early, with about forty tables available. We were criticized for not saying hello to the man at the reception desk, when we simply hadn't heard him. We sat down and ordered a coffee before hitting the road again. A woman then came to tell us that we needed to "order more" and that I had to remove my bottle of Cristaline water from the table because it came from the bakery next door. With so many empty tables and customers who had been patrons for several days in a row, a little more customer service and courtesy would have been appreciated. It's a shame, because out of three days, this last experience is what we'll remember.

26/09/2026: A very good experience at Café Russe in Pau! The atmosphere is pleasant, the service is friendly. A welcoming place where you can have a good time, whether for a drink or a snack. I highly recommend it!

24/09/2026: For over a year and a half now, I've been coming here and I've had the pleasure of meeting a fantastic team, always kind and smiling. I highly recommend going; the prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is always great.

17/08/2026: Sandwiches from a sandwich shop in Avesta. Two kebabs around 6:30 pm… I won't even describe the digestion! I've already taken three Imodium and I'm practically emptying myself out. And no, it can't be anything else, I haven't eaten anything else all day. This sandwich shop is definitely one to avoid!

06/08/2026: We came last night with colleagues to order food and were greeted by Candy, who was very friendly and smiling. I had a bowl with rice and curried chicken; it was delicious. Good value for money. See you soon!

30/09/2026: Utterly unpleasant! My friend and I usually go to Café Joyeux, but it was 6:45 PM and they close at 7:00 PM. When we got home, the servers told us they were closing and offered us takeout, which was very kind of them. We wanted to sit on the terrace, so we decided to go across the street to Restaurant Pimprenelle, without checking the opening hours on our phones—big mistake! We sat down on the terrace, and I got up to look at the drinks menu on their front. The server walked past me three times, within inches of me, and didn't say a word. I went back to my friend and told her about the different options. After about ten minutes, the server brought the bill to the table next to ours. We then asked the waiter how to order, whether we should go inside, etc. (since we had been sitting for 10 minutes and the waiter had walked past us 10 times without saying a word). To which the waiter replied in a disdainful and haughty manner, "Order what?" This greatly surprised us, and we were caught off guard. He then added, still in a very condescending tone, "Oh, but we close at 7 pm." We then left the terrace, having wasted 15 minutes just watching the waiter walk past us without any intention of informing us that it was impossible to have a drink on the terrace there. I therefore recommend that you go across the street to Café Joyeux, where they know how to manage social interactions!

27/09/2026: You should go for brunch; the food is above average, and although the prices are high, they're average for the area. I'll definitely come again.

07/08/2026: Very large and expensive store, everything is a bit jumbled due to construction work; parking lot with some spaces blocked off.

07/08/2026: I think this is my worst experience in a store. We came in three weeks ago and found a pergola on sale at 50% off. The salesperson and a store manager immediately offered to sell it to us for €1,000. We simply asked for an hour so he could go and measure our patio. To avoid going back, I tried calling him at the number he had given me. After at least an hour on the phone, the nightmare began. I spoke to no fewer than six different people. - A very unpleasant first person. - A second person who sighed at my questions about the Carrefour payment card. - A third person who was condescending and refused to put me in touch with the right person in the department. - A fourth person from customer service who made it clear I was bothering him and simply hung up on me. I ended up having to go there in person. The next day I went to pick up my pergola, and the salesperson told us, "Oh no, it was sold yesterday morning." I immediately asked a manager and a Mr. Poirot to come over, and we found a solution. One week after the pergola was delivered, during assembly, many parts were missing, and no fewer than 16 louvered slats had significant quality issues. I decided to contact Carrefour and spoke to a manager, Ms. Sabine. Frankly, I got the same feeling of being bored and even felt like I was lying, even though I had sent her photos. She replied, "I'm surprised, I've never had such a problem." Yet, on the brand's website, there are an impressive number of comments similar to my problem. 26/09/2026: A 40-minute wait for a burger and fries ordered at 3 PM, and no one else was there. The sandwich was cold, dry, and bad—nothing was right. I absolutely do not recommend it.

15/06/2026: Great choice to stay for a few days in a cool and lively neighbourhood of Marseille, at walking distance to the Cours Julien. The price is very fair and the room accordingly rather basic (depending on the category one books of course). In general it was quiet in the room, but it can get quite loud when there are events on the hotel ground floor (even up until the 5th floor). Staff was always nice and helpful, just one day our room was not made up despite our request (via a sign left on the doorknob in the morning). Breakfast buffet (for 21€) was rich and had a good vegetarian selection, and there was even the option to have a lighter version for just 10€.

31/05/2026: Excellent stay from May 26th to 29th. Room 36 during our stay. A very warm welcome from all the staff, with a special mention for the girls. We found them to be professional, kind, and humorous. The room could use a refresh (worn carpet, a small refrigerator would be welcome). But apart from that, the stay was excellent. Thank you all. We will return. Keep up the good work making your guests happy and respectful. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

02/05/2026: Excellent welcome, spotless room and impeccable cleanliness. Ideal central location. And the bar being open all day is a real bonus. I'll definitely be back.

17/08/2026: 6/10 - An okey hotel. The room has a good modern shower facility, but misses air conditioning and no drinks like coffee, tea or water (bottles / boiler) or an refrigerator. As for other amenities, the hotel offers a good swimming pool and spa, but has limited opening times (with the spa having even more limited opening times from 15-19 hours). It would be great if for example the turkish steambath in the spa offered some motion sensors for example; so it saves some energy, but allowes the hotel to have more convenient opening times. Also some things like some lights in the pools or spa, or a hair dryer in the swimming pool, doest (seem to) work. The hotel offers a half-board, which offers a good breakfast (where the food and drinks are replenished often), and a set dinner (no choices). Drinks at the (included) dinner are not for free, except tapwater. The dinner itself consists of an okey haute cuisine styled 3-course menu (which might not be totally filling for some people). As for the appearance of the hotel, it is quite old-fashioned from the inside; which might attract, or repel guests who prefer a sleek, modern aesthetic. Throughout the hotel there are some nice reminders of the history of the village and hotel. The outside offers a tennis court, an old fashioned small playing court for the kids, and a huge garden. In the back of the garden there is something what looks like an old anti aircraft emplacement. Some parts of the garden could definitely use a refresh or better maintanance (for example supplying the fish with water in the pond who have to deal with less and less water in hot summers). Finally, the staff is friendly and attentive.

28/06/2026: This hotel is family-owned and was recommended to me by a friend I studied abroad with! It’s a beautiful location with charm. The atmosphere is welcoming and I highly recommend this place to stay.

21/09/2026: In a wonderful atmosphere, the restaurant "La Comédie" offers a quality menu with simple but homemade dishes. The service is very pleasant and the staff charming. My wife and I go there very regularly, and it's always a little slice of happiness.

25/07/2026: What a disappointment! I brought some colleagues, and despite having a reservation, they only offered us steak frites, and for dessert, crème brûlée (which was fine) and an ice cream cone—not even a small sundae. I've had better experiences at this restaurant, and I admit I was a little embarrassed.

21/09/2026: I eat here quite regularly, sometimes once or twice a week because I study nearby. Each time, I notice the same problems, some frequent, some different: - Lack of hygiene (servers touching the trash cans and then returning to serve without washing their hands). You can see the people in the kitchen through the counter; I've seen three or four people touch the meat or fried food with their hands and then wipe themselves on it. People blowing their noses, sneezing, or coughing without washing their hands afterward. Overflowing trash cans, dirty tables, and slippery floors. The restrooms are often dirty, and the mirrors are even worse. - The rudeness of some of the employees: No "Hello," no "Have a good day," no "Enjoy your meal." “When you speak to a staff member, they immediately roll their eyes and claim they're busy. - Service: Several times, they've spilled food on my tray or on my items, and two or three times they've refused to reorder, claiming that “It's fine, only some of the items are wet, the rest are dry.” The endless wait to be paid is unacceptable, especially since most of the time I wait to be paid for my order, which is already ready, so they give it to me even though I've been waiting for ages to pay. There are often mistakes with orders, whether it's in-store, at the drive-thru, or in-store. Forgotten items, wrong items ordered, etc.”

20/09/2026: I came in tonight and received a Chicago burger with one meat patty instead of two, and without bacon. Instead of my usual BAP (Bread and Apple Pasta), I received 20 veggie nuggets. Please double-check your orders! 😡
