The dinner was probably the best we have had in Europe in over 40 years of roaming around Our room was huge and very comfortable and very clean and well equiped. The warmth and friendlieness of the hosts was outstanding We will return as soon as possible!! Magnificent!

10/05/2026: A very pleasant hotel. The rooms are spacious. The village is lovely. The restaurant isn't worth the price. But the breakfast staff would go out of their way to make you happy.

03/05/2026: The ventilation in the room didn't work—it was stuffy. Of course, we opened the window, and it was great that it was there and could be opened. But the broken ventilation spoiled the impression of the beautiful bathroom.

07/10/2026: Yesterday, October 5th, 2026, I won a contest, so I went to the McDonald's today to collect my prize. Just before, I decided to order, and to my great surprise, I was served by a very unpleasant, almost insulting waitress who spoke very rudely and refused to give me my prize. After calling her manager, everything was sorted out. But this waitress (the evening shift) has no place in a fast-food chain! A very unpleasant experience, and I will never go to that McDonald's again!

03/10/2026: Ordered two sundaes, they were as runny as water. Shameful to serve that. Next time I'll check before leaving

26/09/2026: Unfortunately, the hamburgers were lukewarm to cold, but the fries were good. Prepared with little love. The sugar-free Coca-Cola tasted very strange, so I threw that away too. All in all, not good for 35 euros.

18/09/2026: Something's always missing; we order €40 worth of goods and half is always missing.

20/09/2026: The hazelnut coffee was bad, no hazelnut flavor, and the price displayed was different from the price paid at the till (obviously more expensive). The flan was mediocre, worse than the one you get at the supermarket for €4.

11/09/2026: I used to love this bakery when I was in the neighborhood. The exterior and interior haven't changed, and I only found out on my way out that the owners had changed… what a drop in quality! It used to be so good. What a shame. The bread, the pastries, they used to have loads of quiches, good cakes, etc. Now it's highway-level quality.

13/09/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had lunch today at PUM Thai Curry Bar, and I wanted to especially highlight the exceptional quality of Kevin's welcome and service. From our arrival until our departure, he was absolutely remarkable: smiling, warm, attentive, and available, all while remaining perfectly professional. He knows his menu, his products, and, more broadly, everything the establishment offers. He was able to answer all our questions precisely, advise us on the dishes, and also inform us about the cooking classes and the various products offered by PUM. What also struck me was seeing him attend to the other tables with exactly the same care and kindness. He's not simply someone who knows how to serve a table well: Kevin has a genuine sense of hospitality and human connection. A truly wonderful experience, both for the food we ate and for the person who welcomed us. Our establishment is very fortunate to have a colleague like Kevin on its team. Thank you to him for a wonderful time. We will gladly return. ⭐️

02/05/2026: We were devoted customers of La Florentine for 20 years until the owner's retirement this summer. We wanted to try the new version with the change of ownership. New decor. Brand new tables, chairs, and lighting. So far, so good. New menu. And what a disappointment! Very little choice. Prices have skyrocketed and are worthy of the French Riviera. €19.50 for the salmon galette. The same for the scallop one. Gone are the Mots Bleus, which we loved. The cider has doubled in price... We order what's left within our budget. Upon arrival, another disappointment. The galette arrives at the same time as the cider and peanuts. So much for an aperitif. The corners of the galette are dry and cold. The galette is stuck to the plate. Only the center remains soft and slightly warm. The clearly visible, pre-packaged slice of ham isn't very appealing either. We have music playing in our ears. We can't hear each other anymore. We move on to dessert. Opening the menu, the prices of the crêpes stop us in our tracks once again. We order ice cream, which is cheaper. The tables have turned. Cruel disappointment. We've lost our favorite, and so friendly, crêperie. May 2026 update: We knew that at these prices, it couldn't last in St. Gilles. The result this month: a change of name and transformation into a brasserie. What a waste! The loss of such a good crêperie and therefore a part of our culture.

29/04/2026: It's slow, it's cold, the waiter should know how to take criticism and not roll his eyes. There are hardly any crêpes or galettes left... for a crêperie, that's a shame! The change of ownership is painful for the regulars.

30/07/2026: Really good location was a nice view. Was really empty when we got there but got busier later on. We ordered at around 19:30 but we got our food at 20:20… about a 50 minute wait was disappointing. But the food was good and nice servers, just a pity that tables that arrived after us got their food earlier

25/07/2026: The service was incredibly slow, we had to get up for water because it was always running out, the fries were cold, and a thunderstorm kept the staff busy at the chairs and tables, ignoring the customers... disappointing. It's a shame because the location is great.

07/08/2026: A truly embarrassing place. The wine was served warm, the service was practically nonexistent, and as for hygiene, just look at the stairs leading to the terrace to get an idea. The food was a total disappointment: they even managed to ruin the magret de canard, serving it on a sea of ​​frozen vegetables, tastelessly and without any sense of purpose. A terrible experience in every way. My advice? Stay away.

The welcome is exceptional: the owners themselves are present and take care of the guests with rare and genuine attention. You immediately feel at home in a warm, family-friendly, and charming atmosphere. The cuisine is simply incredible—flavorful, generous, prepared with fresh ingredients and a lot of love. Every dish is a true delight. The view is breathtaking: you can enjoy a magnificent panorama of the yachts and the sea, which makes the experience even more magical. The location is perfect, easily accessible, and you quickly understand why the locals love this place. It's a true hidden treasure, frequented mainly by regulars. I absolutely recommend this restaurant 100%. An authentic, delicious, and unforgettable experience 🤍
