11/07/2026: Despite being in the heart of the village, the place is picturesque. The stone house has a lovely interior decor. The outdoor terrace is also charming. There's a swimming pool and overnight accommodations are available. The food is exquisite. It's well worth a visit.

30/06/2026: A very good experience during my overnight stay. The welcome was warm and professional. The room was clean, comfortable, and quite well-equipped, allowing me to have an excellent night's sleep after a long day of work. The meal was high quality, with well-prepared dishes and pleasant service. The only slight drawback was the flies in the restaurant 😵‍💫... The breakfast served at the table was also comprehensive and a welcome way to start the day. I recommend this establishment to business travelers as well as those just passing through. I will gladly return.

31/07/2026: Very disappointing experience 😡

26/07/2026: The woman at the wok station was unpleasant; she didn't even say hello and was on her phone while she was cooking my meat. The spring rolls were tasteless, and the sushi was dry, as if it had been prepared the day before. It was disgusting, and the buffet was empty to boot. The desserts were all frozen.

30/11/2025: Frankly, the food quality has seriously declined compared to a few years ago, and the prices have gone up for frozen food—steak as dry as a shoe sole. McDonald's does better, and the baguettes are frozen. They need to change everything.

19/11/2025: I went to get takeout, and it wasn't even rush hour when they forgot to give my colleague and me our drinks… We waited almost 20 minutes for a small order. Despite that, it was good.

28/04/2026: We ordered biryani and they just stir-fried rice with a spoonful of sauce, completely tasteless and unappetizing. A real waste!

17/03/2026: Best naan/durum I had in my life. The red chicken tondoori is very tasty!!

14/07/2026: Disappointed by the amount of meat in the Sandwich. We were told it was measured, but the two kebabs we ordered didn't have the same amount. When we called to complain, there was no response from customer service. Clearly, customer satisfaction isn't a priority. We'll be going elsewhere from now on.

02/07/2026: I collected my order, and as she handed me the bag, the waitress tore off the receipt stapled to it. Finding this odd, I looked directly inside the bag as I left the restaurant and realized that a kebab had been replaced with a meat kebab wrap, the same price but three times smaller than a kebab. I went back into the restaurant and pointed out the mistake to the waitress who had given me the bag, hoping for some kind of compensation. (What does it cost to put four nuggets in a small box and apologize for the mistake?) She denied everything and kept repeating that her computer didn't make mistakes. I showed her the details of the FIRST and ONLY order on my account: one taco and two kebabs, not one taco, one kebab, and a ridiculously small wrap. Looking me straight in the eye, she told me it was a previous order, not today's. In short, customers are treated like idiots at the red light.

17/07/2026: NEGATIVE We came as a party of six for dinner: - FRESHNESS: There was a bad smell of uneaten seafood once on the plate, and the color of many other foods showed a lack of freshness, even the green salad... - FLAVOR: As regulars, we ordered dishes we usually order. We really didn't enjoy it. - VALUE FOR MONEY: A €21.90 buffet that wasn't worth it. The restrooms weren't clean, and the faucets were broken... The change of ownership explains all these issues. We won't be back.

12/07/2026: A few months ago, this restaurant was truly excellent. I recently returned and, to my great surprise, found the quality had significantly declined. Some items appear to have been reworked, but the result is not good. I even noticed insects on the fruit and cheese, which is completely unacceptable. It's a shame, because it used to be so much better.

29/05/2026: Good food, but with 30-degree weather outside and no fan or air conditioning inside. It would be helpful to mention this when booking, especially in hot weather. The service was excessively slow.

26/03/2026: Arrived at the restaurant, empty, unwelcoming waitress. I was barely seated when the aperitif arrived, then the main course—if I can even call it that!—was served. There was a dead cockroach and a cobweb on the windowsill. They offered five dishes, one of which was out of stock. You don't expect haute cuisine, but homemade food, with such limited choices. In the end, I ordered beef tongue and rice. Everything was mediocre, even disgusting. For €17 a dish, it was like eating canned cafeteria food! Not to mention the hygiene: a Maggie bottle covered in crust. Then, at the end of the meal, they told me they only accept checks or cash, showing me a ridiculous, invisible note. Basic courtesy of the hostess should have warned us! This restaurant is a disgrace to French gastronomy. How can they call themselves restaurateurs and sell such mediocre food? A can of Panzani ravioli would have been better than the dish served.

26/03/2026: It's a shame we can't give zero stars. Nothing is homemade, the welcome isn't warm, and the menu has very few choices, so we expected a decent meal, but it's quite the opposite. The place is dirty, there's a dead cockroach and cobwebs... in short, avoid it, especially since when we went to pay, we were told that credit cards weren't accepted... this should have been mentioned upon arrival.

16/02/2026: The best place I've been to in Douai. Note that this is La Pergola restaurant, now separate from the Vintage bar. Set in a courtyard, it has a lovely atmosphere and a warm welcome. The food is truly delicious (the baked egg and sautéed shrimp on creamy leeks are to die for, the duck breast is cooked to perfection and served in a generous portion…), the prices are very reasonable, and the set menu is even better. And in the warmer months, there's an incredible garden to enjoy a meal or a drink with friends (as a fan of sweet wines, the waiter introduced me to an amazing Coteaux du Layon). In short, a must-visit for me.
