05/09/2026: I tried a seafood platter for two, and we usually get them at Sete Mèze. I think the prices are really outrageous: 90 euros for this simple platter.

24/04/2026: The website says it's open, but it's closed as of today. No current opening hours. Annoying.

23/07/2026: Just don't go here The building is tired and needs renovation. Paint flaking off the wall in communal areas and in the bedroom. The bedroom is small, the bathroom is fairly large, but dated. There is a sea view, but it is over a corrugated roof, and there was no direct access to the sea. Parking is difficult and the road outside is busy The description of the bedroom suggested it had a fridge and a microwave, but these are in a shared area outside the room, a dark, dingy dirty shared area. There was only one microwave, though we had our own fridge, great, except it wasn't working and was dripping water. We decided not to stay and the subsequent conversation with the owner (by telephone, they weren't present on the property) lived down to the standard of the building. She was not prepared to concede any of the points we made about the accommodation, insisting that everything was as described, she was not prepared to offer any refund despite us not using the room at all - I would have been happy to pay for the first night - but she was having none of it. Looking at previous poor reviews no doubt she will respond with a comment, but she has skin in the game, I'm just trying to warn people away from a substandard venue.

28/06/2026: The location is beautiful for some rooms, right on the waterfront. Unfortunately, the studio was nothing like the photos of the best rooms, and this was only mentioned after booking. The studio was dirty and practically uninhabitable: worms on the floor, dust everywhere, and unclean bedding. Very disappointing

22/06/2026: A quality Italian restaurant, but... The prices are affordable, the ingredients are fresh, and the dishes are consistently excellent. The owners are friendly and pleasant, which generally makes for a very positive experience. Unfortunately, I have reservations about the service. The waitress never smiles, places the plates abruptly on the table, and seems inattentive to the customers. Her attitude often gives an impression of nonchalance and disinterest. On several occasions, she seemed more preoccupied with her phone than with serving. Another point to consider: there is no air conditioning in the dining room. On hot days, the atmosphere quickly becomes stifling, which can make the meal less enjoyable. This is a shame, as it contrasts sharply with the quality of the food and the warm welcome from the owners. I hope these points can be improved, as this establishment has many strengths. 👍

03/06/2026: Friendly staff, good charcuterie platter, however I have never eaten such bland tagliatelle carbonara, it's worthy of the pasta from my childhood school cafeteria (and that's really not a compliment)

15/05/2026: Good food, friendly service, and a peaceful atmosphere. Very clean restaurant.

15/04/2026: I decided to try it after seeing some great suggestions on their Facebook page. It was a weeknight, there weren't many people there, and my savory taco was burnt to a crisp, without any sauce. You can fool a thousand people, but not the same person a thousand times. Once is enough.

09/07/2026: The staff were welcoming, but that's about it! We ordered a pizza, which was made with frozen dough and cost €12. The steak tartare, priced at €16, wasn't actually prepared at all, not even with a knife. It was simply ground beef, and the dish was lukewarm. The Italian burger was good. The "homemade" fries were not. The quality was terrible!

18/06/2026: Excellent food, open on Mondays, and friendly staff, I recommend it.

12/10/2026: Avoid this place if you're looking for a friendly and safe spot. My brother-in-law booked for his birthday. After confirming the reservation five days before the event, and then again on the day itself, four hours before, we were shocked to arrive at the scheduled time and be told, "We were actually expecting you because it's not going to be possible after all." As a solution, they suggested a neighboring bar (probably owned by the same group, as we saw the person who directed us going back and forth between this bar and Le Chaptal several times). In my opinion, this is a common tactic to fill up the neighboring bars... In short, avoid it, especially if you've made a reservation, or you risk finding yourself in an awkward situation.

10/10/2026: Overall, the experience was good; the food was authentic and reasonably priced, and the atmosphere was warm. However, the service was inconsistent, and some staff members had questionable attitudes, so it's advisable to communicate with them beforehand to avoid misunderstandings.

27/08/2026: Don't always judge a book by its cover! 😊 Fabienne might seem a little reserved at first, but once you take the time to chat with her, you'll immediately connect with her. Friendly, pleasant, and a great conversationalist, she's a joy to talk to. A great local shop and a great place to shop that I highly recommend. 👍

12/09/2026: Excellent restaurant, we appreciated the quality of the generous dishes made with local produce, the friendliness of the staff, and we appreciated the permission to bring our dog in. We will definitely be back.

04/09/2026: Kitchen nightmare! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! Low-quality food, tasteless canned tartiflette. Disastrous staff… I will never return. Good luck to future customers.

26/06/2026: We had a lovely time at this brasserie, where the quality-price ratio is very good. Simple and satisfying dishes, served very quickly, and the servers are both efficient and friendly. There's a large outdoor terrace. I recommend it for a good and quick meal.

19/06/2026: A pleasant, refreshing break with a delicious ice cream sundae on the terrace. However, the prices are very high. It's a Carrefour in Chalon, not by the sea.

22/08/2026: I came to order a takeaway pizza for my granddaughter. The service was perfect, the young woman very pleasant. The order was placed without any problem: a vegetarian pizza without onions or peppers, as requested. A few extra mushrooms to compensate. But unfortunately, the pizza was practically inedible, it was so overcooked. It's a shame. I think it would have been good if it hadn't been burnt. Definitely check it before accepting it... €12.50 wasted!

25/05/2026: We were given a very warm welcome. We hadn't booked, but they found us a place for six despite it being busy. The food was excellent, and the place was exactly what we love: friendly, family-oriented, and just like home ❤️

24/05/2026: The wait was far too long; I got the impression the staff were lost. The cooking times weren't respected, and some of the servers were far from friendly. Even paying for these disastrous meals was a chore.

01/05/2026: We only dined at the restaurant, which was plentiful and very good. One small issue: some of the frogs' legs weren't cooked enough. The service was excellent, and the staff were pleasant. The terrace offers a lovely view. For a full meal, including aperitifs, wine, and dessert, expect to pay around sixty euros per person. A small but very sincere "Bravo!"

30/09/2026: I had a lamb sandwich with extra kebab meat, lamb, very, very good, nothing to complain about, homemade.

12/07/2026: On Saturday, July 11th, at 10:30 PM, I noticed fireworks being set off near Le Beausset (perhaps at the racetrack?). The firefighters I spoke to that day told me that authorization was granted by the municipal police! This raises questions for me. Did they give their approval when we are under a fire alert? The 6,000 hectares burned more than 20 years ago seem to have left no one with any memory. I can't find anywhere a website where I can leave a message for the Town Hall.
