18/06/2026: Excellent all-you-can-eat buffet at a very reasonable price.

18/06/2026: So, I went to this restaurant yesterday. It was incredibly hot inside, there was no air conditioning, the food wasn't fresh, and there were flies everywhere. When I left, my wife, my friends, and I all broke out in sores on our tongues. I felt sick and sick all night. The waiters and waitresses were really unpleasant. Never go to this restaurant, and especially never bring your children.

22/07/2026: Best kebab around, very good. Highly recommended.

11/07/2026: Never make a reservation!!! We had a table reserved for 18 people, and they called twice to add more. When we arrived, there were people at our table. They told us that other people had arrived, so they gave them our table. The table wasn't even set! I will never go back, and to top it off, the woman was arrogant and barely answered us! I do not recommend it at all!!!!

03/08/2026: We went in the evening at 7 pm, a group of 6 adults and 1 child. It's a small restaurant with an uninviting storefront (not like the photos). There were very few choices, and even fewer dessert options, just a few cakes and ice creams, but that might be enough for some. The service was quick and the servers were very friendly 😄. All in all, it's a good restaurant for a casual evening out now and then, but I don't think I'll be going back myself.

02/08/2026: I came to this restaurant in Fréjus with my friends, and it was awful. We ordered cocktails from a waitress who spoke very poor French. We asked her a few questions, but she didn't answer because she apparently didn't understand anything. When I went to the restroom, the waitress came out too, without even washing her hands, and brought our drinks to the table. It was absolutely disgusting; I didn't even drink my drink. We were in shock. Even during our meal, the waitress was scratching her ear canal and continuing to serve us. The food itself was mediocre, and the heat was unbearable without air conditioning. Not recommended.

11/04/2026: It was their first day of the season and they were fantastic. Well done!!

01/04/2026: Two coffees, one of which was half spilled during service. Two really bad crepes, probably frozen and just reheated. They were more like rusks. The Nutella was either not Nutella, or it was cut with another chocolate. €20 for two crepes and two coffees. I do not recommend it.

21/05/2026: Excellent value for money. Close to the ViaRhôna cycle route and a terrace to keep an eye on the cyclists. Salad, drink and dessert combo for €10

28/06/2026: One year later, the same observation. A real tourist trap! Gasoline 6 cents more expensive than on the island? For the champion of the cheapest, find the flaw in that logic.

13/06/2026: Dangerous access and exit. They didn't accept bank cards and there's no cash option. We had to leave without refueling the campervan. What a shame. No shop and no one to ask for help.

01/08/2026: We were seated and waited 15 minutes for a carafe of water, even though it was 40°C (104°F) and we had to ask several times. Furthermore, the carafe the waiter brought us came from another table and hadn't been washed. The crepes were barely cooked (very rubbery) and the caramel was runny and tasteless! We were very disappointed; even the bill wasn't processed quickly.

21/06/2026: Everything looks delicious in the window, but I mainly go there occasionally for a quick bite. Never disappointed by the quality and the friendly staff.

26/05/2026: A custard tart to die for. The bakery selection is too limited.

10/08/2026: First and last time at this Subway! A terrible experience with a waitress (a blonde woman). There were no seats available, so we decided to sit inside, even though it was very hot (they really need to invest in air conditioning or at least a fan). The blonde waitress then asked if we could move because she had just cleaned. I politely told her we could eat wherever we wanted, meaning we wanted to sit near the door for some fresh air. We were paying for the service, after all, and I believe I have the right to sit wherever I want, even if the place had just been cleaned! If it had been closing time, I could have understood, but that was far from the case! And then the waitress started verbally abusing us, practically wanting to hit us! She gave us dirty looks, almost threatening! Her attitude was completely unprofessional! They only clean once a day?? Because it was the middle of the afternoon! Two customers came in, but strangely, she didn't say anything to them, probably regulars, I don't know! From what I can read in other reviews, this isn't the first time there have been problems with this waitress! They seriously need to be more careful about who they hire, because this is bordering on indecent! I suppose the cleaning is also done in the evening (well, I hope so), so there was no need to speak to us and be so dismissive! If she doesn't like her job, she should change jobs, there are plenty of them, but avoiding contact with customers clearly doesn't suit her! 😉 Restaurant to avoid!

06/08/2026: I just read the other reviews and I disagree with many of them. I've been going to Sub twice a month since it opened in Hérouville. Before, I used to go to the one in Caen. The atmosphere is very calm and the staff are always smiling. There's conversation while the sandwich(es) are being made, and I've never heard any strange behavior from the employees (special mention to the young woman with short hair who is a real ray of sunshine). That said, the restaurant closes a little early, but apart from that, everything is just perfect. I recommend it to all my friends and family whenever the conversation turns to fast food. :D

15/07/2026: For anyone who wants a decent meal, go elsewhere for a snack because it's really not good, there are only two choices, the service is frankly not great, and there are no children's menus.

15/07/2026: The nachos weren't great, and the guacamole was overpriced for the quality. The fries were okay.

26/07/2026: I ordered a McDonald's burger when I got home, and it only had bread, nothing else. I don't understand how that's possible; those are the only two ingredients of a burger.

25/07/2026: 30 minutes to be served with an incomplete order, cold fries, melted ice cream, the wrong toy... There's shouting in the kitchen and complaints about the slightest request. It's in my top 3 worst McDonald's in France 🏆 And no need to be "sincerely sorry"... Improve yourselves.

11/07/2026: A lunch I won't forget... simply disgusting. Although the waitress was friendly but incompetent, and the setting completely lacking in charm despite its large size, the problem with this establishment lies with the food. I ordered the set menu, which started with a gizzard salad. The gizzards were rancid and served with a salad that looked like it came from a bag bought at Metro or the corner store. Not even a dressing to liven things up. But nothing too serious compared to the main course. After asking if it was a local specialty, which was confirmed, I tried the Potée du Marais (a dish with eel and frog legs). Okay, it's a bit daring, but since it was confirmed to be a specialty, I ordered it. I couldn't manage more than one bite. The eel was awful. I sent back the plate that was brought to me, and then sent it back again, explaining the situation once more. I insisted that the package should be checked to verify the expiration date, or that the product (since it wasn't fresh) hadn't been defrosted properly. It was no use; the waitress took my dish back and offered me nothing in return, claiming the dish was fine according to the chef, who didn't even bother to come over and tell me this to my face. My brother, who was having lunch with me, was also served a bland goat cheese salad to start, followed by a pizza that would have been better if it had come from Picard. We decided not to order dessert, even though mine was on the menu. When it came time to pay, not a single gesture. My brother didn't even argue; if I had been paying, I would have made a scene. It's simply shameful, and I'm seriously considering filing a complaint with the DGCCRF (French Directorate General for Competition Policy, Consumer Affairs and Fraud Control) soon. Given the eel I was served, I think there must be a problem with food storage at this establishment. My advice: avoid this place, and if you're already seated, run away!

27/05/2026: Great bakery, fresh, affordable, not too crowded

13/05/2026: The waitress didn't know how to say thank you or goodbye. She put down the receipt as soon as we paid and left with another customer without a word. Besides being quite unpleasant, she was also very rude.

18/07/2026: The toilets have opening and closing times that are not those of the centre… Very surprising.

09/07/2026: Special mention to the staff at Mr Bricolage. Attentive, very professional and welcoming.

14/07/2026: I ordered by phone, they made a mistake with the order, and on top of that, you pay, and the only thing they say is sorry

24/04/2026: Delivery made this afternoon. The delivery driver was kind and friendly, as was the person on the phone. However, the fries were overcooked, so I only ate a few. The pizza was okay, which is the highlight, but the speculoos tiramisu was something I wouldn't recommend.
