21/08/2026: Catastrophic! Passing through the area, we stopped at the pizza vending machine... the machine served us an absolutely disgusting pizza!! I don't understand how they can offer something like that for sale...

22/09/2026: One star for the service; three staff members were sitting next to the children's play area. Three teenagers were blocking access to the children inside, and with no reaction from them, I was forced to intervene.

19/09/2026: Just popping in while passing through - and feeling peckish. Hamburger & espresso coffee - this was a double, served in a large cup, a shame because the temperature had already dropped by then. The strength of the espresso was a bit too watery - I'm used to stronger. The smoothie was tasty, although when drinking it we discovered that it wasn't the strawberry version but a peach one - judging by the color... It didn't taste like strawberry. Furthermore, the decor is cozy and inviting, making it a great place to sit under the ⛱️ parasols in the warm temperatures. Ideal for smokers, as they are not welcome inside! The service is amazing; the young lady served us on the terrace! Thank you very much, and please mention that the smoothie 🥤 would be brought later! And she brought it anyway 👍 Afterwards, we had an ice cream. Delicious rich cream ice cream with a dollop of caramel on top. A small bag next to it with, believe it or not, crushed peanuts. 🥜 What a surprise and 😋. But the people who *do* smoke and accompany the children playing in the playroom as supervisors, standing in the swinging door to smoke—I just saw it happen right in front of me 😳 Caregiver or parent, RESPECT for the children who are not allowed to smoke nor can tolerate the smoke! You stand outside and not in the doorway while the wind blows your smoke inside! 👨🏻‍🦽‍➡️Wheelchair users welcome!

11/09/2026: Ordering 3 pizzas = 45-minute wait = OK. After 1 hour and 30 minutes, the pizzas arrived. They were lukewarm. What a disappointment! Not even a gesture of goodwill, because after 1 hour and 15 minutes we called to find out what was going on... Too bad 😏

14/07/2026: My partner and I wanted to order a pizza. She called to place the order. A man on the phone kept her waiting for quite a while, and when he came back to take her order, she asked him what time it would be delivered. He told her one hour. We looked at each other, surprised because that was a long time for a pizza delivery. My partner asked if it would be possible to wait half an hour instead of an hour, and he replied disrespectfully, "I can't tell you, I'm not psychic," accusing her of calling at that hour when 7:56 PM is a perfectly normal time to order a pizza. She asked him to speak to her more politely and respectfully, explaining that it was perfectly normal to want to know what time the delivery would be, which he didn't do. So, that was the second time he had been disrespectful to her, and completely outraged, she hung up. A few moments later, finding this regrettable, she decided to have a calmer discussion. She got him back on the phone and gently explained again that it's unacceptable to speak to customers like that and be disrespectful. She tried to have a calm conversation with him, but he blamed her, saying he wasn't "psychic," and ended the call by hanging up on her. I must say, waiting an hour for a pizza, and €13 for a simple pizza for one person, is too expensive. It's both expensive and takes too long.

27/08/2026: We come here for our lunch break and every time we're disappointed. We've given them several chances, thinking, "Maybe we just caught them on a bad day," but it's always a bad day. Small sandwiches made with stale bread, barely filled. And don't even get me started on their pastries, which are day-old and tasteless. We spend at least €20 only to still be hungry after our break. Don't try to get around this problem by going somewhere else; they ALL belong to this bakery, so it will be the same disappointment and the same rip-off no matter what.

26/08/2026: Visited on a Wednesday around 4 pm, not many people but a long wait. No more toys in the Happy Meal (this should be mentioned at the kiosks, not when they bring you the box). No way to customize the burger except by removing the bun or the meat? Ice cream ordered at the same time but served much later.

11/10/2026: I got scammed out of €5 by one of their servers; they add tips to the card reader and pretend they're giving you a discount. They're real crooks!

The food was delicious, with a special mention for the tomato cocktail, which we highly recommend! 🍅 A huge thank you to Guillaume, our server for the day, who was absolutely perfect: very pleasant, attentive, and with a great sense of humor. He greatly contributed to making our visit even more enjoyable! Top-notch service, great food, and an excellent atmosphere. We will gladly return! 😊

08/09/2026: I'm quite surprised to see so many negative reviews, because personally, I think it's one of the best fast-food places in Dreux! I've been ordering from them for years and I've never been disappointed. The tacos are generous and excellent, and the rolls are just as good; they're well-filled, unlike some other fast-food places where you sometimes feel like you're eating more bread than filling. The service is also quick and efficient. The only slight drawback might be the welcome, which could be a little warmer. But if you're looking for good value for money, a hearty meal, and above all, a delicious experience, you can go there without hesitation!

22/12/2025: A SHAME — RUN AWAY! We chose Les Tables de Philippe because of its advertised "gastronomic" positioning, linked to Les Chalets de Philippe. The gap between the promise and the reality is unfortunately obvious. We came via the Passeport Gourmand, which has already allowed us to discover some excellent gastronomic establishments, including some at reduced rates. The price paid therefore has no bearing on the standards or the legitimacy of our opinion. We were informed at the beginning of the meal that the current Italian chef had only arrived a few days or weeks prior. This information is important because it means that older photos and reviews visible on Google do not necessarily reflect what is offered today. The menu offered during our visit was as follows: – beef carpaccio, – pumpkin risotto with sausage pieces, – vitello tonnato, accompanied by raw vegetables (a simple bowl of salad combining lettuce and a little red cabbage), – aged, but very young, cheeses, – followed by a moist chocolate cake with yogurt sauce. Overall, it's very classic Italian cuisine: recipes lacking any particular creativity, predictable flavors, basic textures, and a presentation without any noticeable effort. It's acceptable, but unremarkable, and far from the claimed gastronomic level. The service was also subpar. One of the waiters spoke neither French nor English, only Italian, making any interaction difficult. His service was very abrupt, with no apparent etiquette. A second waiter was more conventional, pleasant, but offered nothing of value. No presentation of the dishes was offered: the plates were simply placed on the table, and the staff immediately withdrew. During our conversation with the owner, he explained that "this isn't French gastronomy, but haute Italian cuisine," which he claimed was the work of a chef trained at one of Capri's finest schools. He also implied that, as holders of the Gourmet Passport, our comments were of little consequence and that the restaurant would always be full anyway. However, when we visited, the restaurant was far from full, which raises questions about the consistency of his claims. The conversation took place in a tone that was not conducive to discussion and offered no real opportunity for self-reflection, further exacerbating our disappointment. We didn't take any photos—or rather, we didn't even consider it—as the presentation of the dishes was so poor. To get an idea, simply search for the dishes listed above on Google and look at the first corresponding Google Images result. Conclusion: If you're looking for a truly exceptional gastronomic experience, both in terms of food and service, this isn't the place for you. However, if you're looking for classic, decent, but nothing more, dishes, then this is the right place for you.

21/12/2025: We would like to share our experience regarding our dinner at Les Tables de Philippe in Chamonix. We had booked a six-course tasting menu for €95. Upon arrival, we were informed of a change of chef, which we accepted without difficulty. However, a new five-course menu was offered in its place, at the same price. Presented as a gourmet Italian menu, it unfortunately proved very disappointing. While the carpaccio was acceptable, it was rather simple. The next course, a pumpkin and sausage risotto, lacked any real finesse. The vitello tonnato was the most disappointing element: meat drowning in sauce, accompanied by a simple bowl of salad, whereas the menu advertised raw vegetables. As I don't eat raw vegetables, I asked for an alternative and was served mini-quiches that seemed to have been frozen, which is hardly acceptable in a restaurant claiming to be gourmet. The cheeses were bland, and the dessert—a chocolate cake with a yogurt sauce—was something you'd expect from a brasserie. Considering the price of the menu, it was a complete disappointment. Furthermore, the service was anything but gourmet. We should point out that we had the Gourmet Passport, and therefore only one of the two menus was charged. However, our complaint is not at all related to the amount paid, but rather to the quality of the meal, which fell far short of the standards expected of a gourmet menu. Finally, when we tried to express our disappointment to the owner, he was dismissive, arguing that having the Gourmet Passport didn't give us the right to complain. A regrettable and unprofessional reaction that only exacerbated our poor experience.
