23/05/2026: We came to the Colibri Café Lounge today. We arrived in the afternoon and asked if we could eat. We were told to go to the Colibri Café Lounge, as they offered continuous service. We recommend this restaurant for its refreshing drinks. The service was fast, so fast that half our drinks ended up spilled on the table and in our laps. The dessert at the next table looked excellent; however, we didn't have the patience to wait that long, as we had already waited 1 hour and 14 minutes for our main course: two mussels and fries and three savory crepes... I don't blame the poor waitress, who seemed overwhelmed, probably due to understaffing.

08/09/2025: An excellent daily menu, a perfect welcome and service. We were served quickly because the storm was approaching and we had to take off again for Aix-en-Provence immediately. Thank you to all the staff for this excellent meal; we highly recommend this place. I came back a week later for lunch with my daughter, and we had a wonderful time. The pomegranate was delicious. 18/07/2026: Our stay was very disappointing for several reasons. Upon arrival, we found that the cleaning hadn't been done: numerous cobwebs, dirty toilets, stained bedding; nothing was ready for us, the refrigerator wasn't plugged in, and we had to ask for sheets, toilet paper, and for the toilet to be cleaned. During the night, we were attacked and stung by hornets due to a nest located under the roof, which poses a real safety risk. Even though the cottage is located in the countryside, an inspection of the premises could have prevented this problem. The meals did not live up to the supposedly gourmet experience. In conclusion, I do not recommend this establishment.

17/07/2026: Our stay was a huge disappointment. Upon arrival, the accommodation had clearly not been properly cleaned or inspected: dust, numerous cobwebs, and a generally poor condition. The manager acknowledged that the cleaning was inadequate, even though it had supposedly been done by a professional three days prior. He even went to disinfect the toilet and apologized, offering us an aperitif. We appreciated this gesture, thinking the situation was being taken seriously. Unfortunately, as our stay progressed, we continued to discover new problems: disappointing meals despite being described as gourmet, and, most importantly, the discovery of a hornet's nest under the roof after an attack and sting. When we reported all these issues, we felt our concerns were being minimized rather than acknowledged, which was particularly disappointing. The current manager's attitude, justifying the state of his gîte by its rural location and failing to keep our half-board meal plan up to date, reinforced the impression that he was truly unsuited to managing this type of accommodation. Perhaps that's why he's putting it up for sale... we wish the new owner the best of luck in running this property as it deserves. Based on this entire experience, we cannot currently recommend this establishment.

26/07/2026: Avoid this place if you're looking for anything more than a coffee or a drink on the terrace. What a huge disappointment. I ordered seared scallops on a bed of vegetables and rice with rosemary sauce for €21. For that price, I expected a minimum level of quality. The reality was quite different: barely five tiny pieces of scallops, far too overcooked, rubbery, and with a strong blowtorch flavor. The so-called rosemary sauce was more like simple crème fraîche, served in a small, clear plastic container, without the slightest hint of rosemary. The vegetables were served in a ridiculously small quantity and swimming in oil, while the yellow rice was dry and uninteresting. Unfortunately, the service only made this very bad experience worse. The young waitress who greeted us at 9:55 p.m. seemed clearly annoyed at still having to serve customers. When we saw our dish, she remained completely indifferent. The manager showed a complete lack of consideration, offering only vague apologies without providing any compensation or a solution to rectify this appalling service. At this price point, one has the right to expect far better than cafeteria-style food, such meager portions, and such unprofessional service. Unfortunately, the feeling is one of being treated as a walking wallet rather than a valued customer. The only positive point is the location, facing the marina. This is regrettable, as this brasserie clearly damages the image of the Hôtel L’Hermine, to which it is attached. I will not be returning and I unfortunately cannot recommend this establishment.

13/05/2026: Disappointed with the service and experience. Not even a greeting during check-in – and if you're like us and end up in a room next to the kitchen, it's as if you're part of the kitchen staff. In short, it's not a hotel, but rather a restaurant masquerading as a hotel.

01/01/2026: I've lived in Le Coteau for three years. I sometimes order pizzas. At Domino's Pizza, everything is perfect, from the initial phone call to the delivery. The pizzas are generous and arrive hot. The whole team is fantastic. Don't hesitate!

20/11/2025: Sharp opinion… Arriving at noon with friends to get pizzas, we saw a menu on the TV advertised at €6.99 called "Mydominos Box," so we decided to order two. After paying, we realized we had paid €8.99. We asked a member of staff at the register why we hadn't paid the price shown on the TV. The staff member replied, "It's an old poster." We explained that we work in retail and that this person legally owed us €2. Embarrassed, they reiterated that it was an old poster and left. Later, another person gave us our boxes. We explained our situation to him as well, and like the first person, he told us it was an old poster. We suggested he simply turn off the TV. He replied, "I don't have the remote." So we asked him in turn if it would be possible to get €2 or a can of soda as compensation. He explained again that it was just an old poster, nothing more… We weren't worried about €2, but the gesture itself wasn't very professional… According to Article L.211-1 of the French Consumer Code, "in the event of a difference between the price displayed and the price at the till, the customer may demand to pay the lower price displayed, unless there is a clear error." So, for a real €7, we highly recommend the chip shop and their "box" (a type of snack bar), which are reasonably priced, good, and at least you leave with a nice smile.

23/01/2026: What a disgrace! I don't like to criticize food, but this is just awful. The chicken tenders are inedible. The kebab makes my stomach ache. This restaurant needs a hygiene inspection ASAP. It's scandalous!

12/06/2026: Excellent experience at Jour Boétie restaurant! The welcome was warm, the staff friendly and attentive. The dishes were fresh, flavorful, and prepared with care. The atmosphere was pleasant, ideal for both a quick lunch and a more relaxed meal. The value for money was excellent, and the service was efficient from start to finish. I highly recommend this restaurant and will gladly return! Thank you again to the entire team for a wonderful experience.

11/06/2026: There must be a mistake. I ordered matcha and received hot milk. I absolutely do not recommend your matcha; you use such a small amount that I can only taste the milk, and the drink is completely white, not green.

11/08/2026: We come several times a year, but this time I was very disappointed. They took over 20 minutes to serve us, as evidenced by the receipt and phone call time. Furthermore, every time we come to check on them because we think it's taking too long, the blonde woman practically complains, saying they haven't had any customers. That's no excuse; having no customers with your name isn't exactly convincing. Plus, we have to stand in front of their register for three minutes just so they can see we've already ordered. We ask for a plate for my two-year-old son, and they give me a coffee plate because, and I quote, "we don't want to wash it," and at first, I didn't even want to give myself one. They serve us in cardboard boxes, even though we eat in. There's very little sauce compared to usual; I'm really very disappointed. Oh, and by the way, we were the only customers, and then three other people came in.

07/04/2026: No customers in the restaurant. Poor hygiene, dirty table, dust, dirty glasses, daily special not displayed but offered, priced at 25 euros, tough meat, no good cuts, undercooked. Gratin and flageolets probably from cans. They asked for cash payment, were reluctant to pay by card, and only accepted because they had no other option. Very disappointed.

09/07/2026: Given the number of restaurants in Malestroit, I strongly advise you to avoid this one. The service is nonexistent, the prices are inflated, and they don't even give you a bag when you order takeout. I've tried it twice, and there won't be a third time, that's for sure!
