07/06/2026: It was a cosy night, but the barman was very angry at us while we were buying a lot. Not Nice. We did not feel welcome at all.

21/07/2026: This is my second visit. The manager is just as unpleasant as ever, doesn't seem to want to work, no smile, no politeness. The kebab bread is literally microwaved bread, the prices are high, and on top of that, they tell us to come back later because they're out of kebab meat. I strongly advise against going there and would suggest you try a much more welcoming fast food restaurant.

24/03/2026: The service is very good but I made the mistake of ordering one of their cookies which was much too hard for my teeth; I couldn't finish it.

13/03/2026: Drawn in by the window display and its beautifully presented teddy bear, I finally decided to try it. The service was pleasant, BUT the taste was bland, the price excessive, and the cleanliness questionable (impurities were visible to the naked eye on the flan I bought). In short, it looks nice from the outside, but that's where the appeal ends.

12/08/2026: Barely settled in, the manager didn't stop complaining about the crowds due to the closure of other restaurants in town: "I'm the ONLY one open." We would have much preferred to eat elsewhere and without this inconsiderate manager. We came for a relaxing evening, but instead we had a rather "lively" one: - no privacy between the tables, we were practically eating with our neighbors - a very long wait for our food, only to be told after 45 minutes that one of the dishes we ordered was no longer available. A last-minute change of order, and bam... he brought us another dish we hadn't ordered! - and to top it all off, he was clearing the terrace and sweeping the area while we were still eating. Special thanks to the young servers who have to put up with the manager's rudeness and incompetence! Hang in there, the season is almost over!

11/08/2026: The wait for food was incredibly long, and the owner and employees were arguing in front of everyone, almost coming to blows. The men who work there criticize the waitresses. The owners never reflect on their own behavior. I do not recommend this restaurant.

01/08/2026: The sushi and maki were quite good, it's a shame they didn't have miso soup. The service was a bit out of touch with Gen Z, which is a shame because it wasn't great at all. As for the atmosphere, there are much better sushi places these days. Personally, I think they need to get with the times. But that's just my opinion.

26/07/2026: Honestly, don't go there, you'll waste your money and your time... I just ordered 24 maki and rolls, and let me tell you, they were absolutely terrible. I didn't think it was possible to go this wrong... The cooked tuna tasted like it had been cooked too long, I don't know how to explain it, and the rice was dry, as if it had been left out uncovered. Seriously, never again. It's almost a disgrace to sell this. I don't recommend it.

06/05/2026: I ordered 40 mini-baguettes from Marie Blachère. They confirmed that this was possible. Upon delivery, I discovered that the "mini-baguettes" were actually just baguettes cut into thirds and baked that way. This practice completely ruined my wedding plans. It's truly regrettable and unworthy of a professional service.

22/04/2026: Although the products remain expensive, they are generally of good quality. The staff is attentive and pleasant.

24/05/2026: I received a flyer in my mailbox and ordered that same evening. It was 3 pizzas. I recommend it.

18/02/2026: This place has become just another ordinary spot. We used to know it was much better, and during school holidays, they didn't even serve waffles at 4 pm, and that seemed perfectly normal... As a former bartender, I always managed to help customers out. What a shame.

11/01/2026: The setting is great! But only the setting. For the rest, the food selection is very limited, the service is cold, and they charge you directly. What a shame. Such a shame. Instead of making Les Deux Guides a hotspot for nightlife in Le Grand-Bornand... it's a very, very ordinary place!

03/07/2026: It was really lovely. Shipu, the young man, is very pleasant and always smiling. We had a very enjoyable time. A big thank you to the whole team for their warm welcome and kindness!

30/03/2026: The slowest service I've ever seen. Orders are incomplete. It takes 30 minutes to pick up an order, but it takes 45 minutes for a Markana order to arrive.

19/05/2026: Large room with enough space to move around. The food is good for an all-you-can-eat buffet; there's a good selection. Weekday prices are the same as weekend prices. One drink is included. However, the service is poor; no smiles, unpleasant, and you feel like you're bothering them when you ask for something. Only the young man at the bar was friendly.

12/05/2026: A disaster! We went on a Sunday evening (2 adults and 4 children). €93 (€23 per adult and €12 per child). The food was awful, the staff were either unpleasant or nonexistent, the clientele was disrespectful, and the toilets were like something you'd find in a train station or motorway service area.

03/08/2026: Order placed via Deliveroo, 1 hour wait, extra charge for cold food.

31/07/2026: Over €5 for a McFlurry with a half-full cup. When I pointed it out, there was no solution, just a "that's how it is." Very disappointing service and experience.

02/07/2026: Tony is a good waiter and very good service here the food and everything else was very nice and the place is very cozy and nice would definitely come back here!!

04/04/2026: Absolutely avoid this place. That's the last time I'll ever set foot in there. Pay close attention to the meat they serve you: they just scoop it straight from a bowl and give you yesterday's leftovers… I'll stop there; more in the other comments.

01/06/2026: Hello, the welcome was wonderful, the people were very kind and smiling. We slept very well; the room wasn't new, but it was very clean. I thank these people again for their hospitality.
