On the manager's recommendation, we tried the citrus-flavored cider, which was delicious! The welcome was warm and friendly; we'll definitely be back!

31/07/2026: After giving it a 5-star rating, I wanted to take a moment to say how fabulous this place is, both for its (homemade) cuisine and for the warm welcome and kindness of Sophie (the owner) and the waitress. The appetizers and desserts are served buffet-style, allowing you to sample a little of everything on offer. I should mention that you shouldn't go back for seconds (which is perfectly understandable). Everything is clearly explained beforehand. There were four of us, and we each ordered different hot dishes. Our taste buds were in heaven! 😋 Absolutely divine!! I highly recommend it! A huge congratulations to Chef Franck and the staff. Throughout the meal, we made some wonderful discoveries. The Chef's cuisine is remarkably precise, refined, and elegant. You can feel a true mastery of every gesture, with a deep respect for the ingredients and Japanese tradition. Each course tells a story, and you quickly realize that you're not just there for dinner, but for a truly immersive experience. The food and sake pairings were simply exceptional. Each sake offered was a discovery, perfectly explained and showcased. We were impressed by the richness of this culture and by how each pairing enhanced the experience. For nearly three hours, we were completely transported, right in the heart of Paris. A huge thank you to the Chef for his exquisitely sensitive cuisine and incredible expertise. Thank you also to the entire team for their warm welcome, kindness, and professionalism. A special thank you to Zac, who prepared a personalized note for us detailing our evening's menu. 06/08/2026: A small restaurant near the harbor – but with a rather big story behind it. The owner, in his late 30s, spent ten months cycling along the borders of France. He apparently not only racked up some serious mileage, but also a wealth of culinary inspiration. His journey resulted in 50 recipes for his own cookbook. It was clear then that this wasn't just any old place. We started with a delicious gazpacho, followed by truly excellent main courses. So good, in fact, that suddenly our neighbors' plates became quite interesting. Luckily, we all agreed that sharing wasn't stealing in this case. Anyone visiting Cherbourg should definitely check out this small, intimate restaurant in addition to the classic seafood restaurants. A fascinating story, a friendly host, and food that piques your curiosity. Highly recommended!
